"My partner and I were so excited! Fate had reared it's ugly head and immediately after booking, I got laid off and the company closed it's doors but we were determined to enjoy our vacation! aOur hotel was absolutely amazing! Every single bad review out there is clearly not legitimate. Our experience was absolutely perfect! The room was spectacular and they DID upgrade us to a King Suite with no problem (and we arrived late too!). The room was spotless and the cleaning staff were so wonderful to talk to!!! The hotel was extremely accommodating. It's truly a beautiful hotel! The valet was wonderful and the self parking is NOT far from the hotel at all. In fact, the parking is in a garage on the back side of the hotel directly next to the convention center entrance (adjacent to the hotel). The restaurants were WONDERFUL! and the prices were actually very good! The Breakfast Buffet for $16 was worth every single penny! And they had a really cool Tapas & Tequila Bar/Restaurant next to a really cool fresh Sushi Restaurant too! What we enjoyed the most since we were traveling to Disney every day was the 24 hour Deli Style Restaurant that had a fresh prepared deli open til Midnight every night and a 24 hour mini-mart style grocery store with really delicious coffee and extremely convenient food (not expensive at all either!). We had one hiccup with a rather obnoxious Texas High School staying on our floor pranking all the rooms at all hours of the night but Security was WONDERFUL and handled it immediately every incident. I would be honored to return to Rosen Centre Hotel ANYTIME! The Staff everywhere were so nice, helpful and friendly and a blast to chat with. Everything was exceptionally clean. There is a wonderful attraction desk with great hours there offering tickets to nearly every attraction in the area. VERY knowledgeable. We purchased our tickets for the parks through them and at the parks, we had so much fun we extended our time at Disney for only $10 more per day per person. You can't beat that! This was BY FAR the best vacation we ever had. And my partner and I were celebrating his birthday and our 5th anniversary which everyone was wonderful about! The rooms were very quiet, VERY comfortable, the beds were perfect, the food was incredible and great price and this hotel is close to EVERYTHING! I absolutely recommend staying there any chance you get!"

"We loved everything about this Hotel! From the moment we arrived we were so happy with our choice! The pool area is huge and very nicely done so every age group could enjoy it. Inside the first floors huge lobby you have many choices to choose to eat from. Things like pizza, steaks, sandwiches, pastas, wings, hot dogs, ice cream, cakes, even a Coffee bar, and a tequila bar! They also have a lounge to enjoy a drink or two before bed! We stayed on the 17th floor in a regular king room. The room was amazing, Overlooking the pool area was a huge plus because at night the skyline lights up and you can see Universal area, Fun Spot even Epcot and the Disney Castle! The employees were very friendly and helpful to us with ideas on things to do in the area that weren't too touristy. The hotel was very clean and all smoke free you could tell. We defiantly recommend this hotel to everyone.!"

"I have no idea what that above reviewer is talking about with giving this fine hotel a mediocre review. I would venture to say that they are the kind of person who complains about everything in life where they don't get their way anyway. I'm sure they wouldn't be satisfied until every little thing was comped and the servers and management chewed their food for them and carried them to their room.
Anyway, my stay was at the very same time as that horrible review was written and my family has nothing but the best to say about it.
From the moment we got there, everyone treated us like VIPs.When there was the rare problem, it was addressed immediately. We were there for the past week and we will be back again this coming winter."

" The Rosen Centre was amazingly beautiful. The buffet was expensive and the food was OK, but once we figured that out, we just hopped on a trolley right out front ($7 for a 3 day pass) and had our choice of activities/restaurants. The hotel pool was BEAUTIFUL, open until midnight, and it never felt crowded. I would most certainly return."

Only drawback was that the shuttle to Universal Orlando was only one time per day in the morning and it was filled up when we got there for the next day, so we ended up driving. They had more shuttles to Disney. Also, it would have been great to have a microwave in the room. There was a small (not-too-small) fridge, but we did have access to a microwave in the pizza/deli downstairs that was open all night."

"The Rosen Centre is a mediocre hotel. We stayed on a very busy weekend and had to wait 10 minutes to get on the elevator at times...very inconvenient. my package was to include FREE shuttle to theme parks but then the hotel said they did not provide that.....VERY inconvenient and disappointing. So the hotel manager said she would make it up to us by giving us a voucher for a free breakfast buffet (valued at $18/pp).....HORRIBLE buffet, we couldn't even force ourselves to eat much....NEVER would have paid $18 for that! Our package also included free parking, which we were charged for, then the manager offered to reimburse us and only reimbursed a portion of what we paid! Don't expect to get what you paid for at this place."

"I have stayed at this hotel in the past with no problems, however when I went to check in I was told they were sold out and I would have to be relocated to the sister hotel on the other side of the convention center. I wasn't given any other reason even though I asked several times how a pre paid room could be not available. I stayed specially at this hotel since it was connected to the convention center and I would be there all weekend for a convention. I was forced to take a cab to the other hotel and have the clerk look at me strange when I handed him the transfer paper. After a few minutes and a few trips to the back I was checked in. The next morning I then had to get another pass for a free cab ride back to my original hotel, I was not able to check in so I had to store my back again. That evening when I got back I was finally able to check in with no problems. I lost all my shopping time Thursday evening and over an hour in moving hotels. I was very unhappy with this stay and disappointed that I was sent to the curb. It was a huge inconvenience especially since I didn't have a car and was only able to walk. I never did get an answer as to how I can get a guaranteed room. and not have it given away to someone else. For all my troubles I got a $20 voucher to Reds Deli, the clerk had no idea what to do with it and I had to wait 15 minutes for the manager to come out yet another waster of time for what was supposed to make up for the prior inconvenience."

"I MUST SAY.....I was very pleased. The Rosen Centre began with very good staff hospitality..and ended with excellent staff hospitality. It was a very clean hotel...Not an up to date hotel, but a hotel that is definitely worth staying at again. I was very pleased with how my husband and I were greeted even by the security that were present at all times. There were many conferences going on the weekend we were there, and many people were present at various times of the day: The hotel never bacame disoriented,unorganized,noisy, or even dirty for that matter. "Instead of writing all the bad things about this hotel, I would like to say good things about this hotel.
1. Free Wireless Internet Service: Whenever I try to connect to wireless internet at my small room, it frequently shuts me down from the World Wide Web. So I called hotel IT support for help. The man said I should walk out of my room and go to lobby to use internet where signal can be better. BTW, it was almost midnight.
2. You can be loud as much as you want ourside someone's room especially around 1 AM ~ 2 AM even if someone complaints. Hotel will not do anything to you.
3. This hotel have lots of shops that requires your money.

"I finally understand why the Rosen scores as well as it does. What a gorgeous hotel!!! Our room and view was exceptional. Our self parking fee was comped. We ordered room service and while that did take a while to arrive, the food was exquisite and hot was it reached us. The staff knows you by name as we called guest services and other staff for our needs. The room itself as well as the appearance and smell were impeccable. The hotel deserves every bit of the 10 that people give it. We were able to stay using their buy one night and get one night free. I specifically requested that we have two rooms (one for my husband and I; one for our two elementary school aged children) be conjoined. Although at first I was given some flack about not being able to make sure that these rooms were conjoined, once I mentioned that this issue had already been raised in reviews countless times, the staff was more than willing to accommodate this request, which is something I did about a week after I made the reservations but at least two weeks before arriving. My husband was quite impressed and our kids loved every minute of having their own room and television. Everything worked out well. We would definitely stay here again!"

"We were a little worried by a couple of comments about the $300 deposits that a few people posted, but we did not have one problem. We got an awesome bogo night online and it was well worth the money to stay here. No parking fee, no resort fee, etc. We only wish the beds we had were Queens and not full size beds. We definitely will stay here and get a King size room next time."

"The place is just beautiful. Lush greenery everywhere, marbles strewn throughout everywhere else. A group of us arrived and check-in was very kind to put the various parties of our group all nearby on the same floor. The food is a little pricey but that wasn't unexpected. The pool is very nice and relaxing with Jacuzzis within easy reach. Right on International Drive, it is close to everything! At the price we paid it would be just plain stupid NOT to come here every Orlando trip.

"My booking was ok with a few exceptions, I had called the hotel to request a King bed and was led to believe that all was fine, upon arrival at the front desk at 1:00 AM was informed that no such thing had been requested and that tomorrow i could switch rooms. Was also a little disappointed in travel times and delays... late arrival at hotel, plus since i had booked it for 4 nights, yet did not arrive until the morning of the second night i should have been refunded some dollars.... nope... the nicest 3 staff members i encountered were the security guard and the valet man... and the lounge bartender. I was left stranded in Charlotte on return flight.

"I had only two problems with the hotel stay. First, my first room the toilet kept breaking. If it wasn't used for a six hour period all the water would drain from the tank and it could not flush. i fixed it twice my self and so did workers from the hotel but it still was broke when i left. Second the AC unit in the room. They are a new green unit when there is a occupant in the room the ac will run. Once the room is vacant the ac would shut off. The house services would come clean the room and open the curtains leaving all the florida sun in. Once returning to the room, it would feel like a sonna in the room. And would take hours to cool down. But even during the night i would set the ac unit to 65degrees and it would not cool the room to that temp. and at times it would shut off for long periods of time. Other than that it was a great hotel nice atmosphere. dj during the night. pool open till midnight. I was happy that my deal offered free parking at the hotel cause it would have cost 13$ a day and that is crazy. thanks"

If I had to complain about anything I would say the walk from the parking garage to main hotel is a little distance but that wasnt enough for me to give it a bad rating. Very nice worth it. FYI they do put a hold on your card for incidentals and double check if you have to pay for parking or Wi-Fi."

Everything is good in the hotel, except, the unauthorized transaction on my credit card, they debited three times on my credit card, (50, 250, 300) totally 600 USD they charged. Then the took three days and finally the returned $ 300 as cash, now I reached Denver, doing followup with the finance for $300.

"This was our second time staying in at the Rosen. They put us in a handicapped accessible room. The shower head was difficult to manage and counter space was limited. The rest of the room was nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable. We ate breakfast in the restaurant in the hotel that had the buffet. It was overpriced at $14.50/person with what was offered. We should have gone to Denny's which was next to the hotel. They charged an automatic 18% gratuity on the bill. All the server did was bring orange juice and coffee. The self parking ($13/day) was part of our room cost. It is located in the back of the hotel so be prepared for a long hike to the lobby elevators. I brought in a wheel chair as my husband could not walk the distance. They offer valet but it wasn't included in the cost. We also had wifi included in our room cost - not sure what the fee was for that. The staff was polite. Our only issue was when my husband called the front desk to ask for a late check out and requested the manager who never picked up the phone."

"The day I checked in I got charged $ 300, which the lady in registration never mentioned and never received a receipt. Found out when I looked on my account. When I called and asked from my RM, I was told it's for incidentals, and will be returned on check out, but will take 3 days, but it was put back the night before we left. Never happened when we stayed in Rosen Shingle Creek . Otherwise we had a wonderful stay. Except for the lady in registration, the staff were great. We had a great stay!"

"I was in Orlando for a convention that was primarily held at the Peabody/Convention Center. I stayed at the Rosen which was great. It was directly across the street with easy access to convention center where I needed to go. It was also right near a Walgreens, Supermarket, Dennys, McDonalds, Red Lobster not even a 5 minute walk. The room was nice and clean and beds were comfortable. I stayed on the 7th floor and had no complaints. The hotel also held activities that welcomed the members of the convention I was there for. It was a great experiene. Only staff contact I had was at check in which the staff were really great. I did not book through the company in which I was there for convention but was still allowed to receive all amentities that was offered which was great!!!"

"Beautiful hotel, great location, very clean, nice pool area that wasn't deeper than 5 feet, heated at night, 2 hot tubs, a small kiddie pool, one fun social lobby with high class food court. Food in hotel was very costly and just 3 meals for the 3 of us over two days cost almost 3x as much as one night stay. Glad packed snacks and next time would walk to super close restaurants and grocery store as there was small fridge in room. Great workout room, enjoyed it, nice spa with %25 off but didnt get to use spa. Was strange had to walk through lobby from pool and there was a rule about not wearing suits, wish there was a more direct way to elevators or room from pool without having to go through nice lobby. Not exactly a kid hotel but my 5 year old loved the pool and there were other families there. She left her goggles on pool edge and within a half hour they were gone. Only 5 minutes from seaworld, walked once but due to heat and stormy weather took cab back for just a few dollars, and drove second time. Would recommend it and definately stay again but wouldn't be first choice for a family. Connected to the convention center so would be ideal to stay if there for convention. Was a little disappointed pool bar didn't open until we left Sunday afternoon and couldn't get service at bar window from pool at all, could have been weather related. Staff might have been busy with zumba convention folks."

"Two days before our week long trip to Orlando for the IJM National Pageant I came across some reviews for this hotel which were all quite negative - especially the staff at the front desk. We needed to stay at this hotel for the pageant my daughter was in or I would not have chosen it based on the review I read. However, we were VERY happy with the hotel and the staff, which could not have been nicer or more accommidating. We changed rooms 2 times in the first 15 minutes (once because it was on the 13th floor -lol- and the other because I had forgotten to ask for ajoining rooms) and the staff made thses changes quickly and with a smile, then followed up with a phone call to make sure we were happy. Any request we made during the week - extra towels or extra coffe - were done quickly and always a follow up phone call to make sure our requests had been done. I don't know if the hotel staff had made any recent changes, but the reality of our stay was completely different then the reviews I had read on a different web site. This is a great place to stay!"

For those who like to shop, there are 2 big Shopping Outlets that about 15-20 minutes away from the hotel. It has lot of the brands name. The staffs were very nice and helpful. There was plenty of variety for food in the hotel and lots of restaraunts within walking distance. It is a prime location with easy travel to the Seaworld Parks (around the corner) and to the Disney Parks (short drive). The staff was always helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is taking their first trip to Disney or who doesn't want to spend a ton of money to stay in a Disney Resort."

And as we got inside it only got better. My guest thought I had spent way over the agreed upon hotel prices, that was how nice this place was. it was great inside and out, the location was perfect,we had access to restauraunts, shopping, and close proximity to theme parks. Excellent Hotel and staff! Highly recommend! Only small negative: The free internet had to be constantly re-booted, but it was free!"

"One word..... Horrible.. This hotel is falsely listed as a 4 start hotel, perhaps they forgot to mention (4 stars in a 3rd world country). The room was clean, the staff was apologetic, nothing worked. We called on the television set and was told Engineering was working on it. We requested a king size bed and was told all was reserved; the SPA was not working and again we were told engineering was working on it. I gave my credit card to the hotel upon checking in and on day two in the cafeteria, I was refused my meals since the credit card was only put in for one of the two reservations. This was a horrible experience I hope to never experience in what is reffered to as a 4 star hotel. The air condition was noisy and not suffucient to keep the room cool. I checked in for 2 days and was going to extend my two rooms booking for another 4 days, however after the above experiences, I made the fastest exit and checked in at the Marriot Courtyard. "The hotel was annoyingly large and overcrowded at all times. Two of the elevators were broken causing an uncomfortable amount of people for each use as well as a substance wait for each elevator - the option to get off a crowded elevator and use the stairs was impossible as there was a key entry required (not a key card) for the upper levels without warning so if you decided to take the stairs, you would find yourself locked in the stairwell without help. The pool was nice but it was incredible hot outside and there were no water fountains in sight, additionally the refreshment stand was not open for the entire day and the outside showers did not work. The final straw for me was the air conditioner in the room. Despite the fact that it was 95 degrees outside they were motion activated to save energy so when my wife and I went out for dinner and had walked down International Drive and returned two hours later rather hot, the room was beyond humid and unexpectedly uncomfortable as the AC unit was automatically turned off in our absence. It did however resume to the correct temperature about 20 minutes after we returned to the room but it was still an unexpected inconvenience. I could write more but I do not see the point as I will not be staying here ever again. The lack of personal attention and the feeling of being cattle was more than enough to keep me away at all cost."

"The room I had was not made for people who like to sleep in during the morning hours! The curtains would not close and so the light came in at all times! I hated this! In fact, partly because of this I left early and exhausted because I was unable to sleep at night...somewhat due to traffic in hallway at times! This was not one of my favorite places to stay! Needs to accommodate more people when it comes to sleeping. Otherwise, the room did seem clean and check in staff was very nice! Just did not suit my needs for sleep....................."

"Let me just say this, yes this is a nice hotel, however it is not worth the money I paid. It is definitely geared toward folks that have money. It pretty much cost you something to do anything at that hotel. If you chose not to use the valet parking, have fun taking all your stuff into the hotel on your own. You get to walk a good mile from the self parking lot in the back to the registration desk and elevators to get to your room. I was not impressed. Now some positives: Pool was nice, not as nice as the Hilton across the street, but clean and well kept. The Rooms were small but clean. Staff was nice. The type of people who i found at this hotel were people that felt they were better than everyone else. I only stayed a couple of nights, I had stayed down at the Hilton Homewood suites the week prior and really enjoyed it. I strongly recommend that location. It has a separate room and kitchen."

"The Hotel in Orlando was very clean and offers a variety of restaurant choices withing the lobby. Upon check in we were upgraded to a King Room withou having to ask and were put on an executive floor and offered access to the VIP Lounge for a small fee. We were told that the VIP Lounge was not really worth the extra expense so we chose to sit at the main lobby bar for cocktails. Instead of going to another location for dinner we ordered sushi that was delivered to us from the sushi bar. The quality of sushi was excellent and there were abundant choices on the sushi menu. The bartender had a dry sense of humor and make good drinks efficiently. We would have loved to have stayed longer than one night.. We will return to this hotel since the value was so good. Other hotels of this caliber usually charge over $200 per night."

"We went in blind not knowing what the hotel or rooms looked liked. All I can say is, it is an amazing hotel. My family could have not been happier. The rooms are a decent size (you are only sleeping in it), very clean, no stains on the furniture or carpet. The lobby has everything imaginable. I would recommend the food in Cafe Gauguin any day. It might seem pricey to some but by far better service and food that you would get at golden Corral and even Denny's. The Sushi was very good as well. Very sorry we never tried to eat at Everglades in the hotel but my kids loved Cafe Gauguin. As far as the staff...I found them very helpful with everything. They were always friendly. No matter who we talked to there, they all always had a smile on there face. I never had a problem with the cleaning service either. We always came back to a clean room. You will find no complaints here! I would recommend this hotel to everyone I know. All I know is that we found a new favorite hotel when we come to Orlando! So we will see you all next year!!!!"

"Overall it was an okay hotel but at the price we got it was a value. If we had to pay 1200 more it wouldn't have been worth it. It also included self parking and free wireless internet (which are normally $12 per day each!). After we booked we did see some reviews that claimed in multiple reviews that the valet and maid service had been stealing items (DS Games, etc/). We didn't use the valet service and locked up all games and electronics in the safe. The room was clean but small. We could hear the people in the room next to us and the crying baby every morning wasn't a great way to wake up. The AC unit was very loud and rattled excessivly. The AC unit didn't perform well as the room was either too cold or hot. The Vallet wouldn't let us use any of their carts to take our stuff to the room and the bell hop wouldn't either! The front desk personnel were okay but didn't go out of their way to make us feel welcomed. The people working the starbucks coffee shot on site where not friendly at all. We started going to the deli instead, which was okay because coffee was about half the price. The pool was clean as was the lobby. There is a lot to do just down the road for dinner and entertainment. Drive to Disney wasn't too bad (about 10-15 minutes). Summary: I'd stay here again only if I got another great deal, otherwise I'm going elsewhere."

Hotel is clean, room is decent size, but bed is Double instead of queen. 5 mns to seawortld, or take the trolley for 1.25$ per way, it is 5 stations. 15 to universal, They offer shuttle but suggest to book 48 hrs in advance. Pool area is clean and very nice. Will recommend to stay."

"This is our first trip to Orlando. The hotel was amazing. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. My kids love the elevator it went so fast. The housekeeping ladies on our floor is very nice they top up towels, coffee, soaps anything you need everyday. We stayed there for 6 nights and the kids love it so much, more than Disney Theme park, especially the swimming pool. Our friends told us that next time when they in Orlando they will stay here. Trust me you won't be disappointed."

"My family call me a 'serial complainer', well i proved them wrong on this trip. The hotel was perfect. Big clean rooms, friendly helpful staff with an accent on security. Great value. There was a lively atmosphere with lots of big groups coming and going, busy we never once felt crowded. There is plenty of parking although the walk back to the rooms was a bit of a pain. "I had booked the hotel and as a bundle it included free (self) parking and free in-room internet. To some people it might come shocking that these are not included with just any reservation. Actually I still got surprised when I got informed that they don't serve complimentary breakfast. I guess I had just took it for granted. But you don't. Pay attention to what the reservation says is included. The staff where friendly and helpful, except for the technical support for the internet connection, that seemed a bit in a rush when I talked to them over the phone. It was a positive experience."

"Excellent Hotel, but could use some free breakfast, not all guests are executives with money and if given great reates for us they should include some type of complementary breakfast. We got complementary internet and parking. Self parking, though free is quite a walk from the main lobby. The parking lot is located all the way behind the hotel and you have to go through the back of the hotel, walk through the long lobby in order to get to the elevators. This may be a problem for some people. The sheets and towels were not changed everyday which is bad, I paid the same rate everyday and deserved the same service everyday, especially fresh sheets and towels. And I asked for hotel near Disney World and this is no where near Disney World at all."

"We traveled the weekend of March 16-18. Wonderful stay. It was cheer competion next door but believe me the hotel rooms were so quiet. I was on the the floor with a bunch of kids from highschool. We heard no noice. I can't believe the price. This was a real classy hotel, service was great, food was great a little pricey but you have so many other resturants near by. Red lobster, Denny's and so many other. To top the park was only mintues away, that's what made it perfect. International Drive has everything you don't need to go anywhere else for FUN. Loved it but would not be able to afford it under the regular prices. The only bad thing I would say is the walk from the parking garage to the elevators was very long especially if you have items from the parks or from the shops and stores. Other than that the trip was a WONDEFUL EXPERIENCE. I would love to visit again in June on vacation for those same rates. Loved IT!!!!!!!!!"

We didn't care for the extra door in the bathroom which made it impossible for more than one person to be in the bathroom at a time. The staff was friendly and overall helpful. The breakfast buffet was nice, but they add an 18% gratuity to all checks even for a dessert to be picked up to go. Location to restaurants was good, as the trolley line is less than a few blocks."

"First of all the parking is VERY far away from the elvators to go to your room and if you leave more then once a day this is so NOT cool, we got our parking free when we booked which is a good thing cause If I would have to pay to park that far away I would NOT be happy, the other annoying thing is on our last day we were planning on sleeping in cause we had a very long drive home the MAID keep knocking on our door, my daughter finally got up and went to the door to the tell her we were still sleeping and she wants to argue about why we dont have the do not disturb sign out and my daughter tells her we dont have one out cause their was not one in the room and the maid reaches in and flips the lights on twice trying to prove my daughter wrong, so needless to say we were both WIDE awake after this(The maid didnt find the sign either), so you pay for your room and did not get to sleep in, we just got up and left. The pool area is wonderful, we very much enjoyed it and the beds were super comfy : )"

"The hotel was nice but upon checking out I was not satisfied with the stay. My husband and I stayed here for one night and booked the stay a month prior to the stay. When I checked in I was asked for a credit card. I specifically asked the unfriendly clerk if my card (debit card) would be charged anything being that I had already reserved and paid for the room a month ago. She stated no my card would not be charged anything it was just on record for incidentals. I checked out the next day at the front desk, when I told the clerk that I was checking out she asked for my name and said ok you can go. I handed her the room cards and left. When I got home I checked by checking account and I had two charges from the hotel one for $90 and one for $10. I called the hotel and spoke with a manager and explained why I was unhappy. I explained to her that I was lied to by the front desk clerk bc she told me my card would not be charged anything and it was! The mgr apologized and said she would retrain that clerk. I told her I thought that was a great idea but in the mean time I was out a $100 until it was refunded to me from my bank. Again, she said I'm sorry. I informed her I appreciated her apologies but I would not return to this hotel as I was blatantly lied to by the person at the front desk. I was not offered any kind of gesture to correct the mistake. I was extremely disappointed and am awaiting the return of my money as the manager said it was just a hold."

"My two-day stay was absolutely fabulous!! I was very pleased upon entering the room to see that the beds were made with white sheets and white blankets, without the typical floral bedspreads that most hotels use, which we know is hardly ever, if ever, washed between guests. The entire room, closet, and bathroom were pristine. My sister and I had an ample supply of linen with extra pillows in the closet, and more hangers then we needed for our two-day stay. The only negative experience I had, which may not necessarily be a negative for everyone, was that the blinds are not designed to come together to block the sun and make for darker room in the wee morning hours when when vacationing guests like to sleep in. They were designed in paneling that were off to the side with only a thin curtain in the middle. Other than that we had a great stay."

"I traveled with my family for a 5 night stay. It is in a nice location near lots of attractions. However the parking accomodations are TERRIBLE! We got free parking with our rate, which was good because I would have been very upset if I had had to pay for the lengthy hike we had to make each morning and evening to our room. The parking garage is behind the building with no access except the elevators at the front of the building. This required us to walk past and through business meetings, wedding parties and corporate events to get to our floor and then walk down a very long hallway in the opposite direction. When I called to the desk to ask if there were any options to this arrangement, I was told we could pay $20.00 a night for valet service. Avoid this hotel if you are traveling with children or anyone with difficulty walking long distances. We got through it, but would not return."

"Booked this hotel as it had a really good deal thru here. I've stayed before and liked how it was. Nowing that this hotel is older I still felt it was in a great location and for the price well worth it. My review is mixed as the hotel itself is more suited for professional and business alike. Its not really geared for family as the amenities are slim to none. I knew this going in so not a problem, just mentioning for those reviewing. Again I really like the location as its in a great place. Surrounded by hotels, near I4 which gives u direct shot to Disney or Universal Parks. Being on I Drive is my preference! My only problem was with the bed. Being that I booked for 5 days my back suffered a lot mostly due to the stiff beds. I am not used to this and payed that price. Not only me but also my wife. Guess we are to used to soft beds, who knows. Would I stay here again. Sure, if the price is the same one we got."

"I have stayed at many hotels in Orlando, and I have to say for the price I paid I was very happy. The room was very clean, updated tile in bathrooms with glass-no mold like some hotels, and the staff was very helpful. The only downfall was we could not get late check out, so we did not get to enjoy the stay as we had planned to hang out by the pool. Other than that, it was a very nice hotel that I will stay at again."

"very beautiful hotel and nice rooms but the only downfall to this hotel is literally the quater mile walk from the parking garage to the room elevators...if you have a family and have to drag 10 bags and 3 kids across the hallway to your room you are bound to get pissed...the staff wasnt really personable and frankly looked like they couldnt wait until there shift to end...but besides that everything was beautiful."

"It was awesome! We stayed the whole week and We didn't want to leave... It was close to every place we wanted to go! 24 hours valet parking, with very professional and friendly staff. Two of the front desk staff, were NOT too friendly, neither two staff members at the coffee shop in the lobby, but because everything else were fantastic those two incidents were nothing in comparison. The concierge was excellent, the Hotel is beautiful inside and outside, the pool area was outstanding, the rooms were awesome, comfortable beds and pillows, housekeeping a little late every day but great too... resuming, I will definitely recommended to every one... and I will definitely go back and stay."

"I got this room for $69/night... I wasn't too sure based on some of the reviews I read but was pleased to find those reviews were not part of my experience. It was my 6yr old and me travelling for a inexpensive vacay to Disney. I was happy to say it didn't feel like we were on a budget while at this hotel. The Hotel itself was grand in size and customer service. They were quick to help me with my sleeping son and offer valet service for the car after we arrived at 9pm, along with a bellhop for the bags and escort to the main Check In counter. Check in was less than a minute and advised of all the services that our booking allowed us - free parking and internet 25% off restaurants and spa services. The room we were in lacked a good view but it was obviously recently renovated, clean and spacious with bar fridge and extra linens in the cupboards. The cleaning crew were courteous and restocked our shampoo, conditioner, soaps etc every day without fail. The towels were plush and plentiful, we were never short for towels. The pool was awesome! To blow off some steam before bed my son and I had a late evening swim and the pool was so large there was never a concern my splashy son would upset any of the other guests. The hotel was kid friendly, there were other children and thoughtfully it seemed we were on the same floor. I never heard anyone outside our room or partying like some of the reviews had stated. I was and am very impressed with this Hotel and would recommend it to anyone that is travelling to Orlando. I plan to visit again next year when we do Universal. Thanks to the staff for a great experience."

"Hotel is very clean and being on International Drive, is close to Universal Studios , Sea World and fine dining. We got complementary internet and parking. Self parking, though free is quite a walk from the main lobby. The parking lot is located all the way behind the hotel and you have to go through the back of the hotel, walk through the long lobby in order to get to the elevators. This may be a problem for some people."

"One word to describe the experience-Exceptional.
Rooms clean [we had 2],proper amenities, Nice restaurants [average pricing]. Centrally located. Within a short walk to some fine restaurants and minor attractions in the area. A short drive or free shuttle to the major attractions in the area.
Yes, the parking is a bit of a ways from the elevators, but it is an airconditioned walk to it and the parking is a covered parking-keeps car cool. Sorry I could not stay longer this time. It is maybe not in line with a Ritz-Carlton, but with the money I saved I was able to see Mickey and friends and have some good meals to boot. 5 Star for me. Very accomodating, informed, friendly. Thanks for the experience. "

Didnt eat in any of the restaurants expect the Bistro which was overpriced. Nice size portions but not much of a taste. Dennys or McDonalds is better.
We walked to Pointe Orlando - might be scary for some as the walkway wasnt very well lit up.
Dont relay on the shuttle to Aquatica/seaworld. We miss the first one as the bus driver drove off while we were walking to him (the hotel called and made him come back) and the shuttle back left 90 min prior to the park closing. Took the I-bus inside - very convenient but remember you have to have exact change!
Free wifi was great, however, very unreliable! Kept loosing connection...

"There was a convention last weekend which completely took over the hotel. Kids were running all over the place especially in the pool area with little or no supervision. They made it impossible for adults to enjoy the pool or spa area . They were running and screaming everywhere..at one time 14 kids were in the hot tub screaming .. several of who were under 10yr old. I complained three times to the hotel security to no avail. There should have been hotel supervision controlling the pool area so that all could enjoy it. This was very disappointing. We have stayed there befor and always found it to be very relaxing and enjoyable...but NOT this time. It wa ruined"

"I recently stayed in Orlando, Florida. It was an experience that I will never repeat. While the rooms were clean and niely decorated, the service was subpar.There were numerous problems with my stay. One of the biggest issues was that my room key never worked. It needed to be replaced daily and it took a long time to get it done. The cups were never replaced after being used. Male customers were helped before me despite the fact that I was there first with 2 small disabled children. The pool was located in an awkward place, causing families to walk by business meetings. Despite the fact that free wifi was promised, we were denied wifi access and assured that we really did not need the service. I have traveled often, and have stayed in numerous hotels, yet never have I recieved such poor service. I would never reccommend this hotel to anyone."

"Just returned from a delightful long weekend in Orlando. Normally would have stayed at Westgate Lakes but got a great deal for the Rosen Centre, which has a much nicer pool area. There are also many more dining choices at the hotel or nearby. Our only disappointment was that the hotel does not offer free wireless, even in the lobby area. Had a great time watching the costumed characters going to and from the Megacon at the adjacent convention center."

"This hotel was amazing. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. The rooms were very nice. Really comfortable beds. There was a safe and frig in the room. We got complementary internet, parking and fitness center. Normally $34.00."

"Kudos to the Valet and Concierge services!!! Job Well Done!!! Front desk was nice as well but when I requested an upgrade due to my sons conditions they said yes and then did not deliver they backed off what they first promised!!!"

I am so glad you asked about our stay at the above referenced hotel over the weekend. I was about to contact you and let you know we had a great night sleep on Friday night, but Saturday was a disasted .
The people in the room next to us come back at around 2;00pm and had a party in their room (or it seemed like one form our room). They banged on the walls, laughed and cursed extremely loud and we had to call security twice before the noise stopped . The whole night was terrible, and in the morning around 6;30am they started acting up again! The hotel Fron Office Manager and Hotel Sercurity Manager did not handle the situation well at all. all they could do is offer us a free breakfast which we accepted. We booked and stayed at the Rosen Shingle Creek last time, and the stay was great, but we will not stay at the Rosen Centre again or recommend it to anyone!!

"I was very delighted with the stay at the Rosen Centre Hotel. It was fabulous, the staff was very nice and attentive. The check in and express check out was very easy and smooth. Rooms very neat and organized. I love my pool view from my room. What was best the skywalk they had connecting the covention center, made it easy and convinient to go the Megacon which was being held in the covention center right next to the hotel. Highly recommend hotel."

"Just needed a one night stay for a quick trip to Disney with my kids so they could spend time with my mom. Didn't want to pay resort prices for such a short stay. Got a great rate eventhough it was a holiday weekend. Rosen is a very clean, convenient and friendly hotel. Only downside was 'free parking' turned out to be free 'self' parking. Otherwise everything was great!"

"overall good value for room and location but if you are looking for a friendly staff look elsewhere and do not expect clean sheets daily my two year old scratched herself and left blood on the sheets and we returned the next day to find that the bloody sheets were still on the bed they made the bed with noticably dirty sheets"

"We had a lovely stay at this hotel over Thanksgiving. Beautiful, large room with a view of the pool, very clean. Housekeeping and staff were all very friendly and kind to us and our two children. As other posters have written, the lack of an in room mini fridge was the only thing lacking. We did the Thanksgiving buffet and it was very good and the catering staff was great."

"The Rosen Centre Hotel was located right across the street from the Orange County Convention Centre where I spent most of my time at the LDI 2011. I was pleasantly pleased with the friendliness and efficiently of both the housekeeping staff and the lobby staff. The food in the restaurant was good and reasonably priced. All in all a very pleasant trip."

"My Hotel Experience was wonderful, the close proximity to the Convention Center was great. It rained quite a bit and not having to go outside and the cross-walk was a blessing. The eating places (buffet was wonderful and especially the reduced rate for convention members) were great and enhanced the week."
