"Several reasons why we would not return - advertised free transportation to parks was VERY limited schedule, often left early or arrived very late, and several times arrived with a full bus. We ended up having to take a taxi twice. Advertised restaurant were kids eat free was expensive for adults. The restaurant also had advertised kids eat free dinner with a decent menu, but when we got there they only had a buffet with very limited items, none of which my kids enjoyed at all. The largest and most exciting pool was FREEZING cold. Had a couple of disappointing and bothersome encounters with the front desk manager (but one good experience with another front desk person.) Housekeeping staff was friendly and excellent - best part of the stay! I will NOT return, unless all I need out of a stay is one night and no extras. Room was clean, hotel was quiet."

"This resort website is very deceptive giving customers a false preception of their facility glamourous look. From my own observation, this resort is well over due for a major rennovation. Walls and doors required repainting, mold appears around the tub, tiles on the tub wall is stained, and screws to soap holderdish were rusted. My toilet flushed very slow and the water slide were closed, which is what my family and I was looking forward to. Since 11:30 p.m. is the only scheduled time for transportation from the Disney attractions returning to the resort, I was forced to drive my own vehicle to allow flexibility with my departure from the parks. $100 plus is extremely over priced for this resort which seemed more like a motel. After seeing this resort online, I was very disappointed with the actual appearance of this facility. The upgraded room I stayed in the second night didn't meet reasonable minimal standards either and I'm not a picky person. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY STAYING AT THIS HOLE IN THE WALL. Take heed to some of these negative reviews which could spare you from our unpleasant experiences."

"The breakfest buffet was average. My wife and I had a rum punch at the pool and it was ok and very pricey. We had a better drink for cheaper at another resort. Their beds are ok. The pool area was very nice with the waterfall and the lounge chairs. Suggestion to everyone - eat and drink outside of the hotel. If you want hotel that is an average place to stay close to Disney, this is the hotel to go to. I recommend watching the fireworks at 10:00 at the Magic Kingdom on the beach. Make sure you are on the beach where the castle is visible which is by the Luau theater. "

"Overall was wonderful stay. Every staff member was genuinely friendly and seemed to like their roles as trying to make your stay as positive as it could be..grounds were beutifully landscaped and well maintained. This place I didn't mind paying resort fees...worth it...every penny. some hotels offer nothing poolsilde and charge same if not more for resort fee and parking..pool side staff constantly coming through to clean up after guests who left things behind like wet towels or trash...plenty of choices of types of foods to eat..deli was definitely better than the restaurant i have to say. I had burger from both and deli was defintely better. I do have to say i did read reviews prior to coming and have to agree with some about the fact that it is beautiful until you hit the buildings and rooms. I was actually horrified at the appearance of elevator and halls to the elevator. it was not just the extremely outdated carpets, but there was built up dirt and dust everywhere that just would not be acceptable in other places. walls dirty in elevators. This is a first impression area and certainly should not be waiting to be updated..musty smells are in most of the areas hotels and motels..i do understand this and there was efforts to limit these odors. Rooms were well vacuumed but the white bedspreads did have some old staining and felt as if they were moist...i was afraid but did check in bed frames to be sure there was not signs of bed bugs but thankfully there was not any signs...bathroom small but certainly adequate and clean. housekeeping seemed to forget things like toliet paper and on some days towels. i feel with such a big place you need to add more staff..they seemed overworked so i will not say they should be spoken to but say that you had so much attention on the outside and need more for inside staff...i saw some housekeepers as they were leaving for the day and they just appeared exhausted...."

"Our stay was average, I expected better. The resort was a bit confusing to navigate the walkways and buildings. Our room was clean and spacious. The air conditioning worked very well. Our shower was terrible: no water pressure very difficult to adjust the water temperature between freezing and burning hot. The proximity to attractions and dining was great. The gym equipment was not maintained; broken treadmill and bike. Pool towels were tiny. Our stay was acceptable, but I'm confident we could find better accomodations in the area for a similar price."

"We agreee with the other comments with the fact that it is a little outdated but it did not bother us. Enjoyed a lot of the amenities. Our children (8 & 10) went on the slide, played in the pool all day (heated one), the ice cream in the afternoon, the computer room and the film in the lobby one night and the parents appreciated the happy hour every night. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and having the Pizza Hut counter was practicle for some nights coming back from Disney. The only thing that was very annoying for us (and maybe it's not the hotel's responsability ?) was the shuttle at night ! Had no vehicle so we took the shuttle to Disney every morning, which was great but at night, it was a nightmare ! Too many people (with the other 4 hotels) for just one vehicle. Once they called another one but one night we were ask to squeeze, standing up for the ride back. For an 8 year old between two adults, it was a difficult moment. But overall the hotel was great for us."

"I definately had no problem at this hotel. The staff was great. We rented a car and getting on and off the highways were right there for us. I absolutely recommend a GPS. We did not spend much time in the hotel but it was fine for what we needed. It was a little out dated I guess but not much only in certain ways. I think it was great for the money and the services. Very close to the parks and downtown Disney and also the Orlando international airport. Also,close to restaurants and shopping. Staff was. Always friendly and always answered my questions."

"Yes, this hotel is probably due for a renovation, but the location and with the Bookit discount, it was worth the stay. Up side to the hotel being older is huge rooms. Everything was clean and well maintained. The coffee maker had a short and they replaced it within 20 minutes, the towels were clean and fluffy and the sleep number bed made us feel right at home. We didn't use any of the amenities or eat at the restaurant, but the location was very convenient to our friends home.

The only negative was there is very little sound dampening, so people carrying on conversations in the hall can be heard clearly."

"Well my husband and I weren't too happy with quite a few things. The reservations staff are quite snotty, especially the woman when we checked in, she seemed to want to correct everything I said, which was a little off-putting. We never seemed to have wash cloths in our rooms and we'd have to call housekeeping 2-3 times when they'd come and bring the wrong towels. Our sleep# bed didn't work, so I'd wake up in a big whole, with my back hurting, from a deflated bed. The room service team was very nice."

"We arrived early and the very helpful staff allowed us to check in early. We went to the room and there was a strong moldy smell in the room. They gave us another room immediately but it was marginally acceptable. Instead of spending the whole day swapping rooms, we accepted the second one. The building that the room was in had been obviously remodelled in the early 1980s. It was convenient to all attractions but was definitely dated and the hallways in the hotel buildings smeeled like mold. The lobby area was nice though and the staff were very nice. I wouldn't go back though."

"Excellent location close to all the parks. Rooms were clean and comfortable, we got a sleep number bed and we were right by the pool in our building but we used the pool only once out of 11 days as we spent most of our time at the theme parks.

Only downside was building 6000's wifi was not working during our stay so we were not able to access the net using our iPad, so we stuck with a wired connection on our laptop and used the business center for printing.

Overall I would stay here again and recommend the place, just too bad wifi did not work. Wired connection was inconvenient."

"I have visited Orlando several times in the past. However, this was my first stay at the Radisson. The stay for me and my family was very good. The overall friendliness of the staff was excellent.
I would especially say that Yasmen, the evening desk hostess went out of her way to make our visit comfortable. During our many conversation, I discovered that she is Brazilan,one of many country I have vacationed inI encountered a problem in the main resturant and she and Steve, the night manager corrected it immedieatly.

"Myself, my cousin and my friend booked the Radisson Celebration pretty much blindly and almost solely based on the price last August (2009). The room was good(2 doubles), the staff was great, and the location COULD NOT BE BEAT. We were literally a few seconds from disneys main gate. We went to magic kingdom and hollywood studios. Really great grounds at this hotel. A couple pools, a couple hot tubs, room service, a pizza hut downstairs. The only thing we didn't like were the birds crapping all over the sidewalk. lol Although I did see the staff out there more than a couple times hosing the sidewalk down.

Oh and before I forget, look up Boston Lobster Feast. If you haven't been there and you love seafood, you need to go. It's pricey (about $40 per person) but it's worth it."

Our first room had AC issues and I saw later that night after we had moved they had put someone else in the room. Front desk guys sell discount tickets yet are linked into property tours for resort sales. Pool was good for the kids and has a slide in the rock formation. If they do not upgrade the prices will slip more - one elevator fan made it sound like the elevator was on its last leg, kinda scary."
