We stayed at the LaQuinta because Hotwire had a good price. We were disappointed with the room and the breakfast. There was a smoker a couple doors down and some dogs too. Housekeeping was hit and miss. AC worked good though and we had a couple packages delivered and they held them for me.

I always stay at a La Quinta if there's a location available when I travel. They are not luxury hotels but they're not dumps either. If you're taking the family to Universal Orlando, I recommend this location. It's close enough to Universal that you could almost walk. But there's no need since the hotel provides a shuttle--but it only departs in the morning and returns in the late afternoon. If you rather go on your own schedule, take a cab or Uber. The cost runs about about $7 each way. There a... Read more

I love this newer LaQuinta. One of two I stay at every month. This ones off the beaten track yet you can quickly access I-75 to get to downtown or Disney. Highly recommend this clean hotel. FYI, it is sold out almost every night so something must be right here.

Our stay at the LaQuinta Inn on Major BLVD in Orlando was awful. The bathroom was terrible, the water in the bathtub never stopped running, (continuous leak), the shower curtain wouldn't close because the curtain rod sagged in the middle because it wasn't secure in the wall. We had to put wet towels on each end of the tub to stop the water from going all over the floor. Speaking of towels, we found hair (not ours) in the folded towels on the shelf by the sink. The bathtub had hair from past gues... Read more

I've stayed at several LaQ; Inter'l Dr, Daetwyler, Van Wyck Exp & this one is the nicest. My dog is allowed at LaQ without a fee, this location has hard wood floors, 1st floor clean room & hallway, quiet, micro wave & fridge. This location is my go to LaQ for Orlando!

Room was great didn't have any problem with room or the front desk staff we enjoyed the stay until the next morning when the breakfast police told you what you could n couldn't make (she had to make the waffles) doesn't make sense but what ever then we were told we couldn't bring food to the room yet she made plates for some ppl then to top it off had a tip jar on the counter never seen this at a la Quinta in all of our stays with this company I think tomorrow will leave the hotel for breakfast

We booked this room 6 weeks before our visit, as we had stayed here before. The bathroom was very clean, the bed linens also. We did have a problem with the fridge in the room, but we notified the front desk and maintenance came and replaced it right away. Usually don't use the fridge, but had snacks for the grandkids that needed to be kept cold. Overall, room is what I have come to expect from a La Quinta room. Would recommend hotel to anyone.

We stayed here to be close to Universal Studios. Our room was small and had a horrible shower. Water never seems to get real hot and the shower head was n a vertical post and you could only get it to stay in one position and of course it was not in the position I wanted. Nice bed though

The hotel is great, clean, and staff is fantastic. Breakfast is good and will fill you up for a full day at the parks. You could walk to Universal if you wanted to save $20 on parking, or the staff can set up a bus pick up. Didn't get to try the pool but it looked nice! the wood floors in the rooms was a nice touch.

Hotel is literally within walking distance to universal so you can save on their parking fees Room was clean for the most part however the bathroom needed caulking and extra cleaning which made it look dingy. Could also use a toilet paper holder instead of your toilet paper sitting on top of a toilet. A little unsanitary. The hallways in the building we were in were kind of dingy looking and the doors were a bit dirty. The bottom lobby (not the one that serves breakfast) always had a strong mil... Read more

I recommend this hotel to any traveler who wants to go to Orlando. perfectly met my family and the location is exceptional for those going to the Disney parks and Universal. Able to combine comfort and good location for a fair price.

With all the competition in this area, this hotel is not one to stay at. The room was dark from the color decor, red duck tape across the threshold of the room entrance door, saw 2 cockroaches in room, wi-fi was terrible preventing extreme frustration, lobby carpet was filthy. The sheets and towels were so course, they exfoliated your skin when using them. The coffee machine was out of coffee and when asking one of the staff to replenish it, she ignored the request and continued to talk on her c... Read more

Hotel facilities where average, staff was friendly and helpful. Need pillow top beds. Weird combination of tall tables and short chairs outside around the pool. Pool towels are tiny. But the location to Universal theme parks is AWESOME!

Other then the issues I mentioned about the roach and the hair in the eggs my son had for breakfast, i would rate it ok for now, cook needs to wear a hair net and spray rooms for roaches and any other bugs, I don't want to bring them home with me.

They held the room I requested on the first floor. The rooms were very clean. The bathrooms were very clean. The building was clean. Breakfast for great, lots of variety and good service. Items were constantly being replenished. Outstanding service.

The rooms and beds were clean and fresh smelling. The furnishing were modern and the TV/internet connections were high speed. The hotel is by Interstate 4 easy to locate. You can walk to Universal Studios. Variety of restaurants and shops down the street.

We chose to stay here since it was close to Universal and the price was reasonable compared to the onsite hotels. Great staff, they answered several questions I had, check in was super easy and no problems. Rooms were clean and cool. Beds were super comfy and the location was perfect. No problems at all. Would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay close to Universal and for a decent price. Easy to get to, now the breakfast was not appealing at all. Husband got raw sausage and the eggs ... So let me start by saying that I am not the one who picked hotel. My friend who I am traveling with, gets a discount from his job so of course he took advantage of it and picked this hotel for our stay in Orlando. There are two buildings and unfortunately we ended up in the old one. The decor to me is pretty ugly but as long as the room was clean I didn't really care. The actual room had two queen beds and was pretty clean. The real problem was the noise. The walls are like paper and for both ni... Read more

My husband and I along with my cousin and her husband visited for the long weekend on July 4th. We got a room with two queen beds. The room was nice and got cleaned daily. They allow pets and we had 3 dogs with us between the two couples. They didn't cause problems and enjoyed their time there. The front desk agent when we checked in tried to scare us by telling us if our dogs barked too much they'd call animal control to come pick them up and it'd cost us 350 a dog to get them back so if you h... We were greeted so nicely, checked in quickly, and given a beautiful room. Everything was clean and neat, the beds comfortable, and the entire staff was very pleasant. The complimentary breakfast was outstanding. I don't think you could have found a nicer selection in a restaurant. I also need to say again, that every staff member we ran into was very very friendly, and helpful. We give this hotel a 100%

This hotel is just outside Universal and right next to international drive. If we didn't have a dog, we might have considered staying at a universal property, but this La Quinta was a great and less expensive alternative. The hotel is busy. Breakfast was hot, but not great. Parking was simple with no added cost for the hotel. We drove to Universal rather than rely on the shuttle, whose hours and locations weren't super clear. The rooms were clean, the housekeeping service was pleasant. Great... Read more

When we checked in we were charged $100 per room for a deposit. When we went to our room it was in a hotel they acquired 6 months ago, front desk receptionist told me, next door. The receptionist also said the rooms were updated compared to the rooms in the "real" La Quinta where he was at. It was an old Baymont Inn. The outside was not a good first impression. As we walked through the doors it only got worse. The old carpet was taped down with tape. The paint job was done very poorly. When we s... Read more
