This Hotel and the sister Hotel Ritz Carlton are two of my favorites in Orlando. The grounds ate spectacular and the decor magnificent . The rooms are spacious with fantastic views. I like the amenities, pools etc and the restaurant in the premises.I attended a conference in the convention center adjacent to the Hotel and the halls and service is great. Try the spa or the Gym before you start the day.

Very nice hotel! I loved the lobby... the restaurant right next to the lobby is delicious as well as the Italian restaurant and there's also a Starbucks on the ground floor. The bed and pillows were really comfortable. The only thing I did not like was that my room had the view of a roof :( ... the view of the rooms on the other side I imagine is much nicer. During the weekend the hotel was very quiet and full of families. The concierge was super helpful. The gym (shared with the Ritz Carlton) ... Read more

Overall very good experience, although rooms could use a revamp (we stayed late Dec 2016). We stayed in an exec one bed suite, which would have been better with a kitchenette. Highly impressed with the strong level of service this property offers. Blown away with the NYE fireworks show....incredible.

Stayed at the hotel for 5 nights. It's an awesome place but rooms need some improvements. Room Carpet - contains unpleasant smell. Air conditioner - When you first walk into the room and turn on AC the first few minutes expect to smell dirty laundry smell (In the Car you get the same smell from the vent when its time to replace air filter). Parking lot - Parking/room plastic cards were not working at the parking lot. Had to replace them twice. For some reason our friends received free compl... Read more

It has been a good number of years since I stayed at this property. The property is quite large. It is connected by hallways to a Ritz Carlton. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. There is a very large pool with a lazy river. There is a nice pool bar/restaurant area. The king room I had was large. The bed was quite comfortable. There was a nice couch. There is a fridge. The bathroom was large with a tub and a separate glass shower. The bath products were nice. The room was ... Read more

Spent Dec 23-27at JWMarriott Grande Lakes Orlando FL on the golf pkg. Golf was a 3 minute walk to Ritz-Carlton course next door. First time there. If you like a golf vacation, this package is first rate. Played 27 holes daily. Staff very pleasant, helpful. Very nice practice facilities, too (all grass range). Club stores your clubs overnight, no fee. Package also came with free breakfast buffet at Marriott. This was at the Citron restaurant. Exceedingly nice people, Denise, Alberto, Wan... Read more

This is my second time staying at this hotel and I must say the hotel is amazing. However the front desk agents can be a little more concern about complaints. This time around the bed was hard.I tossed and turned all night and woke up in pain.Upon check out I notified the front desk agent and gave me a blank stare..like what do you want me to do?The tub was also not too clean. It had a ring around it and hair left in the tub.Overall the stay was ok.Rob the bellman is fantastic and very knowledgeabl... Purposely stayed here due to previous good experience, even though it is out of the way of Disney. Came back after being at parks since 8am to no room turnover? No clear explanation as to why. Next time, will stay closer to parks if this is how they do things.

I have stayed at this location multiple times, and it's gorgeous. The pools are beautiful, the rooms are nice (giant TV! Great beds!) and the view (if you get a room on the side that faces Disney and Universal) is amazing. You can literally lie in your bed and watch the fireworks at the parks on the horizon. The amenities at the resort are also plentiful (several restaurants, including quick service and a Starbucks) and the quality is very good. I recommend this resort and will consider it for f... I'll start by saying I've stayed at JW properties worldwide and this one does not deserve the name/branding. The staff at the front desk was young and too "casual" in their dealings with guests- an increase in politeness and professionalism would go a long way. The cleanliness/ attention to detail in the room wasn't there either-- cigarette butts on the balcony, a stale odor to the room, and a poor job of washing the bathroom floor. Valets are prompt/courteous and great at remembering your vehic... Read more
