When we heard that this hotel was closing we wanted to make sure our 5 yr old and 2 yr old experienced it before it closed. We were worried about the staff not caring because they were closing but that was not the case! From the check in desk, to the breakfast servers and dancers (MO is the BEST dancer! He BRINGS it.) everyone was happy, energetic and fun. We upgraded to a pool view for only $25 more and it was so worth it. We ate at the food court for dinner, which was easy and quick and good. ... We stayed from May 19-22. Hotel staff was very nice. We got a free upgrade to one of the renovated suites in the lagoon side. The lagoon slides were still being completed in the morning of May 20th but were operational in the afternoon. We were only in the pool for 10 minutes because it started to rain and they closed the pool. They reopened later.! The ladies restroom by the lagoon pool area was gross! It was dirty & unbelievable how each stall had "something" in it! We told the bar tender (whi... Read more

The hotel is in the process of renovation so we got a good deal. The kids loved the water slides, getting slimed. The entire family enjoyed the 4D movies and live Doubke Dare show. I like the family friendly atmosphere. The suite was clean and that's a plus on my list.

Came to Orlando with my grandsons and my daughter Jamie and stayed in a 2 bedroom suite.. Upon arriving we found out that Holiday Inn is taking over Nickelodeon in Orlando. What a shame my family loved Nickelodeon but a new chapter beings now. I found the staff still very friendly and very helpful, the room was clean and could do with some up dating but over all still the same enough room for a family of 6. The lagoon pool had just been remodeled and was heated . That was great !!!! I have as... Read more

Well, I had noisy neighbours that loved to sleep late, rise early and raise hell. Not Nickelodeons fault at all. But made my experience less than perfect. My daughter went nuts over the beautiful and quaint children's room with a bunk bed. The room itself was fantastic especially for the price. The pools are great though the main one is being renovated and had yet not started being offered to guests. Long queues while checking out which was a bummer. I just left without a receipt. We got to hotel at 2pm waited in line to check in and was told room not ready that they would call us when ready, called us 3:45pm went back up to stand in line again(why not just give us the keys then call when room is ready instead of having to go stand in line twice, how inconvenient ) I was not the only one that was not happy about this. I was not giving a updated room. I got an old room and it was just as far away as it could possibly be in building 3 on the 5th floor from the Lagoon Pool. ... Read more

I was in Orlando for the winter and we couldn't find a hotel and it was raining, so my sister and I saw a huge wall with characters from Nickelodeon like Dora, SpongeBob, etc. So we booked our rooms, we got room 383 or 838 and we liked it at first but it wasn't what I expected. It had kitchen at least but it was a microwave, a sink and cupboards, and right next to it was the bathroom, it was fine. There are a few things that other visitors have commented on that are accurate and some that are unfair. Here is our list of " "positive", "needs improvement" and "Be Aware Of" Positives - 1) Check In was quick and the Agent at the front was very informative and helpful. 2) Room was recently remodeled, and was fair. We went in June and were really looking forward to it. However, we were really disappointed with the over all experience. I will give them some credit for the rooms, the one we stayed is was pretty nice and clean. We were happy with that, however everything else was below average. After advertising the big remodel we were expecting more. The rooms are nice everything new but the grounds and pools could use a lot more updating. Old paint showing through and old heaviness in outside areas. For charging us 25 dollars a night resort fee I would expect more than 5 bent up clubs to play put put with and maybe 5 basketballs for the court. I also felt that a one time parking fee per stay maybe ok but not 17.50 a day.

When I arrived at the hotel, they placed me in a prerenovated room and gave me a $25 gift card for the inconvenience. The room was smelly and old. I did not want the gift card, I wanted a room that was worth the extra $81 I spent on the resort fee and parking! The reason I did not give this a lower rating is because, after complaining twice, the hotel did switch me to another room that was much better. Needed to stay one night in Orlando area so we booked on lastminutetravel.com. We took a two bedroom suite and got upgraded to 3 bedroom. Travelling with 3 kids so the extra room was a bonus. The suite was extremely clean and very nicely decorated. Must have been newly renovated because everything was top notch. Staff is extremely courteous and helpful. Water park very well guarded , super clean and the slides tons of fun for kids. Would redo any time. 10/10

I stayed with family in December 2014 for 5 nights including Christmas. This was when it was still called Nickelodeon Suites. We stayed in a two bedroom suite. For the most part it was pleasant, however it was constantly damp and air circulation was poor. The staff was pleasant and kept up as much as they could but it was evident the building needed a facelift. Pools and everything outside was great. If the housekeeping would be updated this place would be great for the money.

Excellent service and value here! The chef personally came out and spoke with us about allergen free food at the breakfast buffett, and made us delicious GF, EF pancakes and GF grilled cheese for my son who is allergic to practically everything. Everything has been clean and the staff is super attentive. The pool and waterpark were clean and well supervised. Great quick little getaway!

We throughly enjoyed our 2 nights spent here. We arrived around 11:00 am, our rooms weren't all ready yet (one of us received no info, I was given a building and the third was given a room), but we were given our wristbands to use the waterpark. We request refurbished rooms with bunks and were given 3 rooms (2 were adjoining) on the 6th floor. The rooms were very clean (my only complaint is in our room there was something on the wall that was never cleaned off, not quite sure what it was, it ... Read more

Honestly one, if not, the BEST place I have stayed in Orlando... This resort is awesome especially for kids. Everything you need is on site. Kick butt restaurants, kid games/activities, etc.. We stayed in a king suite with a full kitchen.Special mention to Nick "Alb****" at the check in counter (super employee, knowledgeable, beyond helpful, etc., he is definitely management potential one day soon, hopefully he is recognized as such) and a special shout out to the folks at Lakeside Cafe-- Casey,... Hotel was very quiet, and I was at the pool with my friends having some drinks and just relaxing. Out come these people with a cart of toys. Since nobody was at the pool we went and played their games. So we did a newlywed trivia against our other married friends, and a game where we dressed up in all different kinds of clothes. It was a fun 20 minutes and we had a great time playing with them, thanks to Emily, Adam, and Peter! You guys did a great job. It was fun having something else to ... Read more

I just got home from my night stay at the resort. We got a wonderful deal that made staying at the resort affordable for this teacher that is a local. My 6 year old daughter spent the day at the pool on Saturday and had a blast on all of the slides and swimming in the bigger pool while my mom and I spent the time in the cabana enjoying some mother/daughter time as well. The room was a steal of a deal with a king bed and a bunk bed (which was a hit with the kid) and beautifully done. You coul... Read more

First I have to say Im super picky with hotels and having paid $110 per night I was not expecting much. Boy was I wrong...the room was impecable, everything worked perfectly. First time EVER the sheets of a hotel bed dont give me allergies. Pool area was great and The staff and lifeguards were very helpful and friendly. Great price, great value. I didnt like the fact that one of our rooms had a bunked bed and one of the couples had to sleep separate. I will definitely go back to this resort.

Pros Very clean room. The room was big enough to accommodate all 7 of us with no issue. The water park was lots of fun for the kids. There were four bigger waterslides that the kids enjoyed. Cons Beware of the crazy number of fees! They charge $28.00 per day for resort fee... Plus $12.00 per day for parking.. If you have two cars, its another $17.00 per day for the extra car... If your party is greater than 6, then there is another $25.00 for the extra person.. If you want to go to the 4d show... Read more

Stayed here for timeshare presentation due to the size of our party with the kids. Pools and activities were good but the hotel is getting a bit run down on the exterior. Our room was updated and fresh. Staff was the most impressive part of the stay. Eager to answer questions and help with any issues. Very pleasant and cheerful. Our stay was at the end of August and the place was like a ghost town most of the days we stayed.

We had a great stay at the Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Suites Waterpark. The room was new, updated and clean. We had a full kitchen - Keurig coffee maker, full size fridge, two stove top burners and a dish washer. Also had silverware, plates, small bowls, cups, two skillets and pans. We bought groceries the first day here and cooked most of our meals right in the hotel which saved a lot of money. We are heavy coffee drinkers and the front desk was great about sending up extra Keurig refills. The ... Read more

Everything worked out awesome, from the begin to the end.Check-in we were greeted by Stacy from GA, she assisted us with everything we needed to know, very knowledgeable on everything and great with detail. We even stayed a extra night due to the amenities that were offered in the hotel that she explained. I recommend this place for families and would ask for Stacy to help you all you needs to accommodate your stay.

We are currently staying at the holiday inn resort in Orlando, in the midst of a 10-day stay. We love the space of this resort... the kids have their own room with a lovely comfy bunk bed, we have our own room with a delicious king bed, and there's a sitting area and kitchenette... I mean, really it's like everything I've ever wished for in a hotel. However, after the second day, I began to notice that after a shower, I would come out of the bathroom and change and immediately my feet would ... Read more

5 Minutes away from downtown springs, and about 15 minutes away from Universal studios. This hotel is in a great location for both parks. The water slides are extremely fun for all ages, and the hotel has tons of amenities close enough to each room to keep you entertained through your entire stay. Service was great, and the spanking brand new rooms felt very clean. My only problem was after paying the taxes and the resort fee, there was an additional $120 amenity fee that was not included or e... Read more

This resort is not for those of you that do not have kids and want a nice, quiet place to relax. This resort caters to kids and is a 5 minute drive from Disney. It was the perfect pick for my family. The suite was clean and stocked with everything we needed. It looks just like the pictures on the website and our kids loved their room with the bunk beds. The pool is a paradise for kids. We stayed here for three nights. We had reservations for 7 nights but checked out early and moved on to a nicer resort. The rooms here are small. There is one room with a door with a king sized bed and another "room" with no door that has bunk beds. Bottom bunk a double and top a single. The king sized bed was quite comfortable with a duvet. The bunk beds only had a sheet and a very thin blanket on them. We found the room to be clean and updated but too small with too much crammed into one area.... Read more

We stayed at the holiday inn suites waterpark resort from oct 21-26. It was a fantastic time from the moment we arrived, the room was great, freshly remodeled, very modern with 3 tv's. There were activities all day and evening, music playing, games for the kids, movies by the pool on the weekends, they even had trick or treat for the kids on Friday with different stations to go to all around the waterpark. Every one of the employees were nice and helpful. We will definitely be going back.

We stayed here the first part of November and I think the resort has a lot of potential. I will start with the positive aspects. The suites are set up for families. The beds and furnishings are very comfortable and pleasant looking. The television in the sitting area was huge with great screen and sound quality. The pool area had more than enough chairs and was set up well. The lifeguards are friendly and attentive. The activities and entertainment at the pool are great. The mall area has restau... Read more

Being able to leave a water park and go straight to our rooms was an awesome convenience. We had a wonderful time here and will be coming back for sure.
