Room as clean but nothing special. No fridge or microwave and hotel coffee was terrible. Continental breakfast was crowded and food wasn't fresh. Parking spaces seemed a bit smaller than most. Staff wasn't very attentive or helpful as two of the ice machines went down while there.

We got a package deal for Universal Studios and this hotel which was a great value. The hotel has a very nice staff, nice rooms, a great breakfast, out door pool, a real bath fan, and a good location to Universal without being on property which cost about three times as much. It's close enough that you can walk, it's about exactly one mile from the hotel to the Universal entrance, and when you walk you go through a differant secirity check point which was never busy when we went through. My husband and I stayed here for one night. For the price and to be right across the street from universal studios it was a nice hotel. The room was a nice size and clean. The beds could have been a little bigger. We didn't use any of there amenities but they seemed nice. They had nice patio furniture around the pool if you wanted to sit outside. They don't do free breakfast but tgi Fridays is attached to the hotel if you want to pay for breakfast there. It was a nice hotel for what we needed.

My husband and I stayed here over a weekend of visiting Universal. Our first appearance was good - the lobby was clean, and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. We had booked a standard room, and found it to be one of the cheapest in the area, especially for this close to Universal. When we first got to our room there was a slightly odd smell; however, this soon dissipated. Everything was very clean. As other reviewers have said, the room was tiny, and the bathroom setup was o... Read more

There is a free bus that will take you to Universal from the hotel. The staff at hotel has times, boarding passes etc. The walk from hotel to Universal is a 15-20 minute walk. It was not a bad walk, especially if you want to avoid taking the bus. Also, taking a taxi at night from Universal back to hotel wi... Read more

It was very close to Universal Studios. They offered shuttles to go over to Universal so you won't have to pay for parking (which is $20). When we arrived it was late in the afternoon/evening. You have to book your shuttle pass, which is first come first serve 24 hours in advance. So since we came in late we did not have that option for our first day to the park. Which was sad, since we had to pay for a cab to the park, which was reasonable at $8.00, but wish we had the option to get on the... Read more

The staff keeps the breakfast area clean and well stocked. We stayed May 30th to June 3rd. Great hotel to stay in when visiting Orlando. The staff was super helpful throughout our whole stay. The room was appropriate for the two of us. The bed was comfortable, and there was plenty of space to move around in. The bathroom was a little tight, but the shower offered plenty of space. The one drawback to the room was the lack of a mini fridge. So any time we went to a restaurant we could not bring leftovers back, no place to store them. The pool was o... Read more

We stayed here the night before our Universal Studio's & IOA vacation started. If you stay in a Universal hotel you get in an hour early to the parks. This was literally at the entrance gate. The hotel was new, clean and friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast and as always the cinnamon rolls. The parking lot seemed safe and well lit. Great price, location and bed. Would recommend and would return.

Thoroughly enjoyed week long stay at this lodging facility thanks to Mohammad, a manager at the hotel. As a amputee he insured that our room accommodations matched our needs to the tee. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone person or family that will be staying in Orlando. The cleanliness and friendliness maintained by the staff is second to none.

The hotel was located not far from the highway in a good location. There was a Wendy's in walking distance. The rooms were clean and updated. The hotel lobby was very open, clean and modern. One of the most impressive things was how friendly the staff were. Everyone was very helpful. Really enjoyed talking with one of the front desk ladies that even offered to take a group picture of my family before we left.

Booked this very last minute, and arrived late at night so we didn't spend a lot of time there, but we would stay again if we were in that area. The room was very clean, and the staff was very friendly. Only complaints (not even really complaints), is that a mini-fridge would've been great, and there was no towel bar by the sink. Looks like the room we had was recently painted, so maybe they just hadn't put it back up yet. Not a deal breaker though!

We had room 319 and it was at the end of the corridor on the 3rd floor, with the laundry room opposite. it was a very good room and had no passing guests. Rooms are very generously sized, everything is incredibly clean and spotless, and most importantly, the people that work here are AWESOME. It's also close to the outlet mall however this isn't your typical Holiday Inn. I've noticed Holiday Inns have gotten better in recent years or it could just be the ones I've stayed at. We were upgraded to a two bed suite. However, when we came back at 3:45 pm our room was just being made and the room attendant did not even speak any English and kept handing me a phone to speak into.
