"Our room, for 161 bucks was not what we expected at all. There was water damage on the ceiling in the bathroom, the room was VERY dusty, appliances way out of date, the curtain rod fell on me when i closed it to take a shower and the temperature difference between the living room and bedroom had to be at least 15 degrees. We complained about this to the front desk and all the guy said was 'since you booked through bookit.com, there is nothing we can do, my general manager will have to call bookit.com and see if they can get you some money back.' general manager was gone on vacation until tuesday 01/03/2012 so problem definitely not taken care of!! very very disappointed."

"We had a great experience at Hawthorn Suites. The room was very nice ad huge for the great price!! The staff was very friendly and efficient and check in and out was super quick. We left 2 things in the room and the staff made the effort to find us in the parking lot to make sure we were returned our items. We would definitely return."

"First, lets start with the Hawthorne Suites Orlando is the one on Westwood and not the ONLY one but the one of three. If you google Hawthorne Suites Orlando the primary pictures will not be of the same hotel. Google hawthorne Suites westwood and you will find a mix of reviews ranging from this is great to this is horrible. Here is the TRUTH: This is a good hotel for the price that you are paying. Nothing is in walking distance, if you stay here you will need to rent a car. Shuttles are avilable two times a day but you always seem to have 'just missed it' and forget about asking front desk about anything that is in the area because they never know. Taxis are an average of $30 no matter where you go. Breakfast buffet is set in the morning, there are eggs, toast, boiled cubed ham, boiled cut potatos, applesauce, cereal, and cut fruit. Its nothing delicious or spectacular but if you want to save money and not eat at the park you can get full with that they have. The rooms are very large with seperate living room and small kitchen. The rooms seemed clean and nice, however dont expect the usual 'Hawthorne Suites' upkeep. There are odd smells around the hotel that are covered with strong plug in scents. On our attempt to take the shuttle back to the hotel we went on a shuttle that dropped us off at the hawthorne suits a couple miles away, the base rate was about 20 more a night but the hotel itself was what you would expect from a Hawthorne Suites chain, very clean, no strange smells, VERY classy, and the front desk service members were corteous and informative. With this said, if you are looking for a good deal with a place to sleep in between parks then this is the perfect hotel for you. If you are looking for a really nice place to stay, look elsewhere, maybe another Hawthorne suites location. Although they are located near International Drive it is certainly not walkable the part that is close to the outlets, restuarants, and shops as it is not well lit at night nor are there sidewalks. Car rentals are priced very decent, I would recommend that rather than depending on the shuttle. "

"My family and I stayed three nights at this hotel for the Labor Day weekend. Good customer service, hotel was nice and rooms are spacious. Pool needed to be cleaned, but the growns are nice. The free breakfast buffet was good and the hotel is very convenient to all of the attractions. It is located off of Interstate 4. My family and I would stay there again."

"Good place to stay if you're looking for a low priced hotel and don't mind not having the luxury feeling. Pool was amazing and staff was friendly, but did forget to give us our free drink vouchers. Rooms were average. Found a shoe underneath the bed that the last tenant probably forgot, which shows how there is room for improvement in the cleaning dept. In-house convenience store was a bit pricy, but that's to be expected everywhere else i guess. Hallways seemed too dreary and in need of a make-over. Arcade room was 4 old-school arcade games and the fitness room was mainly 4 treadmills. Kitchen was basic. Overall, an average hotel. Not for the luxury loving vacationers. Like they say, you get what you pay for. "

"This hotel was perfect. I booked this hotel because of the location and the kitchen in the room. When we got here the hotel staff was very helpful. We found a nice little restaurant down the road that we traveled to everyday with great food and service. The shuttle service they offered to the parks did not give you much room and did not travel to the parks enough times during the day so we got a lynx bus pass and used their transportation. "

"This is one of the best hotels to stay at after Disney and theme parks it's very chilly and the beds are to die for! The pools are great very clean and it's campus is nice and beautiful.
