I stayed at this hotel May 12th-May 16th. The breakfast was very good. Did not partake of the evening snacks because we were out doing things at that time. The staff was good very courteous. This is a great location for food and attractions. The whirlpool was very relaxing. The beg was very comfortable but furniture needs upgrading. Do to some construction work going on. My wife and I Conor enjoy our staff. It was too noisy with all the drilling banging and hammering going.

No hot water due to construction. Slow elevator service due to construction. Construction starts early and ends late - don't anticipate environment that is quiet and easy to work in during day. Given premium price charged to other hotels in area, I'd hold off on this one until construction is done.

Overall friendly, helpful staff. The hotel could definitey use some updating of less late 80s/90s looking decor, consistent checking of the fitness room and ability to even enter it; however, the staff, the service, and sleep quality was on cue.

Not a hotel I'd recommend for couples or business. This hotel is way past due for an upgrade. The requirements of paying for handicap parking is dispicable. There are better hotels on International drive than this hotel for the same rate. The breakfast is rationed by the staff from behind the severing line.

Easy to park the car immediately in front of the hotel entrance, so it started well. As easy to check in, my room was prepared and in a few minutes I was inside the room. I came to a very clean room, good decor and my preordered mineral water, lay on cooling and waited. After a shower, I went down to the hotel restaurant and ate a simple but very tasty burgers. The waitress always had an eye on my table so it was easy to order more, she was always there. The breakfast today, which was included... Read more

My wife and I stayed here while I was playing in a volleyball tournament at the Orange County Convention Center. The hotel is located a little over a mile away from the OCC, but it is walkable. You just need to be careful when using the crosswalks to cross the streets since many people ignore the law requiring them to stop for people in the marked crosswalk. We stayed here in March and are glad to hear this hotel is getting a makeover as décor was old, worn, tired and room had a bad musty smell. A good selection of food was available at the hot food counter for breakfast but poor choice of fruits and breads. Great location but room price should be lowered during construction. The property smelled of toxic fumes and we had no access to the atrium as it was being redone. Elevators being used by workmen which left only a couple of very slow ones to use. Don't stay here until the construction is over. We stayed at the Embassy suite post cruise in Orlando. The hotel was extremely noisy at night to the point they agreed to refund our money. Yes, it's an active construction site with lots of daytime noise (8-6) no matter where your room is located. That being said, the staff is outstanding and goes out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The location is very good for convention attendees. Avoid staying on the side of the hotel that faces I-4 unless you don't mind endless highway noise. The breakfast and manager's reception is fine.

I visited in August 2015 (I put September 2015 as it would not allow me to go further back and I am late with my reply). The hotel provided leaflets on all the parks and other things to do in Orlando, which was helpful as we could plan our day ahead before getting to the parks. Breakfast was delicious, I don't eat meat and found great alternatives to a cooked breakfast such as pancakes, waffles, doughnuts, muffins, cereals and fruits. Stayed in this hotel about two years ago. The location was good on international drive, close to lots of restaurants and bars. Close enough to universal studios also. The staff were very nice, bar man was very friendly. The rooms are the big attraction in this hotel, they are huge and very comfortable. The swimming pool was a major disappointment though-very very small! Happy hour with free drinks for two hours every evening was brilliant. Its a nice hotel but I'd doubt id stay here again.

Be aware that with extensive renovations going on this is a very degraded Embassy Suites experience. The Atrium is being renovated and completely walled off. That means that breakfast and the happy hour are in an improvised room with with minimal offerings far below the Embassy Suite standard. Breakfast experience was extremely disappointing. Major renovation underway and would not have stayed here if I knew that. Atrium was closed off and to compound matters, the dining area for made to order breakfast was displaced and was not made to order.
