I've stayed at. This hotel a couple of times to attend events at the Amway arena, always clean and just close enough. It's about a $5.00 Uber ride to Church Street. Staff is always accommodating and the lobby bar is a nice option for a couple of drinks before heading out.

While in town working for one week, I had a decent stay overall however sleep disruption due to the train was a concern. There was a postcard on the nightstand and earplugs which were a clue to just how noisy it would be and always in the wee hours of the morning. I had a great view from a corner room on the 13th floor however the bathroom was worn out, the door was delaminating from moisture and the carpet was frazzled at the transition to the bathroom. The room was large with a desk and couc... Read more

Very convenient to Amway center and they offer a shuttle (shuttle ends I think around 9:00 pm) but there are a lot of taxis on every corner downtown. Hotel is EXCELLENT and close to everything downtown Orlando. They have covered parking. Hotel was very clean and quiet.

It was all good. Pool is great, service was wonderful, restaurant/bar were quite good. Check out the Ivanhoe Village for good food, wine, and craft beer. MIchael will shuttle you anywhere in a three-mile radius (complimentary). I would particularly recommend Nova and Strand for food, and I would recommend the Hammered Lamb for good craft beer in an open setting.

Nice hotel, cookies were great! We had asked for rooms close to each other when making reservations. Rooms weren't together. We had to wait to get other rooms assigned but it was okay since they gave us free drink vouchers at the bar. Didn't like having to pay for parking.

Another wonderful Doubletree experience. We've stayed at Doubletree Hotels all over and haven't yet had anything but a great experience. Doubletree Orlando Downtown and The Dobletree Culver City California are among our favorites.

The room was nice. The mattress was comfortable, even better to sit on a clean couch with a normal coffee table. Several blocks from the restaurants, etc. Right by Lake Ivanhoe. Lots of urban bicycling options in Orlando. Although I didn't use the pool, it's nice that it's on top of the parking garage rather than street level.

This location was selected due to its proximity to the Winnie Palmer Womens/Childrens hospital. It was a good choice and I was very pleased. The only negative? Self parking was way too much - that should be lowered - way lowered. It was $18.10 to park for just one night.

I love this hotel, though it needs some repairs in the rooms. The plumbing makes constant noises. The staff is superb, excellent room service (though just order the burger not salmon). But I didn't receive Hilton points earned. I had three rooms for two nights. I was given points only for one room. The other rooms were occupied by my TV crew, and they didn't have Hilton accounts. So no points were awarded to anyone.

We stayed for my wife's 20 year HS reunion last weekend with our 2 children (3 & 5) and had adjoining rooms with our friends (who also have 2 kids). We were on the 13th floor and I found it to be comfortable. I did not notice the train noise that others complain in earlier reviews. The rooms are average (we didn't ask for our diamond upgrade because of needing adjoining rooms). The staff was helpful and attentive, especially Steve in the breakfast buffet. This Doubletree has a nice downtown location and a great staff, they were very warm and hard-working. The swimming pool is heated perfectly and very large. I enjoyed the breakfast in the morning, it isn't cheap but, it had everything you would want including made to order eggs or pancakes and bottled smoothies.

Hotel room was not very clean, shower curtain was stained and the shower it self was rusty. There was also a moth in our room at check-in. There are better hotels in the area and are just also close to downtown.

We had a decent stay. I didn't like that they charged for parking and the valet and self-parking wasn't very organized. The room was pretty clean with the exception of the tub which had hair in it. There was no microwave or mini fridge in the room which didn't work well for us as we had a toddler traveling with us. I blame myself for not looking at the amenities prior to booking. The front desk and dining area staff were really attentive to my needs and would recommend this hotel in general. The only bad experience I had was the bathroom wasn't the cleanest upon arrival and housekeeping forgot to service my room the first day I was there. After I notified the front desk of the housekeeping error they sent them up right away.

Hotel is nice and good location for getting around in Orlando - right on the highway. Unfortunately the highway exit is closed and has been for a long time due to construction. The hotel is right ON the train tracks and the train passes by at night honking the horn LOUD.. excessively - which is definitely a disturbing experience. Other than that, nice hotel, friendly staff.

It's a great hotel, safe and clean. Professional service and very serious. The hotel it's in the heart of the city so it has that business, formal environment. I will recommended if you are just going there for business only. Not family friendly and there's not much to do since it's in the city. The hotel was attractive for its location and ammenities. I had a bad experience because I got a room that was way different from those I traveled with. I had a sink attached to the wall in the bathroom with a free standing 12 in square old table next to it with a box of tissue on it; no room for toiletries. Check you folio receipt before checking out. There is no complimentary parking you have to pay I decided to park on the street but they attempted to charge me the fee. No complimentary breakfast which other Hilton brands I have come to expect--and the late checkout option if you arrive late in my case flight delay---the late checkout is an extra two hours.

Excellent location, beautiful property, courteous staff. I needed to check in a lot earlier in the day. The front desk staff was very helpful and understanding. The warm cookie and bottles of water were a great touch, especially as I was in a rush to get to my appointment. The breakfast area was served by wonderful staff who made the experience quite pleasant. Access can be a bit tricky though...one might need to get around the building to figure out the front of the hotel.

I just returned from 5 nights at the Downtown Double Tree. Our office is in the Wells Fargo building so I usually stay at the Courtyard right across the street. Hotel was so-so. Ridiculous cost for breakfast especially room service. $63.00 for two All American breakfasts? Eggs, potatoes, bacon and toast! Rooms we not properly cleaned on daily basis. Good points are that is very quiet - no noisy guests heard. Construction and location are noisy (between 2 highways). You cannot walk to any restaurants as location is isolated by highways. They have a shuttle to downtown - I did not try it. Parking is good but barrier does not always open with room key - have to speak to front desk to get it to open

I was in Orlando for a business trip and had the opportunity to stay at the Doubletree on Orange Avenue. The room was spacious and well decorated. Since it was 100 degrees outside, it was a pleasure to have a comfortable cool room to sleep. The bed and pillows were comfortable, although I tend to bring my own. The breakfast buffet was plentiful; however, as usual, the food is tepid. There were a large assortment of fresh fruits. It was close to all of downtown. I would definitely stay the... Read more

We planned a trip to Orlando to see a concert in the Camping World Stadium. Many hotels were booked out so we decided to stay at a nicer quality place and treat ourselves. The Doubletree seemed to be close to the stadium and we were able to get two nights for a decent price. While the traffic on I4 can be a nightmare the hotel is not far off the highway at all and easy to find. We pulled in and stopped to check in quickly. Hotel is convenient to Downtown Orlando. Typical Doubletree - clean rooms and good friendly service. Nothing spectacular - but predictable. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Only issue is the train that runs close to the hotel. My room supplied ear plugs - which I needed since I am a light sleeper. I slept great with them - but had sore ears the next morning. I would recommend a room on the side away from the train tracks.

The general impression of the hotel is pretty good. Few tips/concerns: Parking is not free and about 20$ per night :-( Breakfast - suggest to use Starbucks branch. It will be about 1/3 of hotel's breakfast price (about 20$ as well). There are free shuttles to downtime from the hotel. You can also request refrigerator and microwave to the room. I stayed at this hotel for a wedding. When I got to back to my room it smelt like someone was smoking marijuana in it. I called the front desk. They made it seem like it was an ongoing issue and that is was no big deal. They change me to another room and that room was no better. There were people being loud outside my room all night.
