"The only thing I rate as above a 3 for this hotel is the value. We did not pay a lot for this hotel, but believe me, you do not get a lot. A place to crash at night is about as much time as we wanted to spend here.
My first encounter with this hotel began a day before, when I tried to call and ask about the shuttle times. Waited 15 minutes, hung up, called back. Once I finally got somebody on the line, they rushed me off the phone, and in answer to my question, said 'there are different shuttle times for each park.' Well, duh! I had a bad feeling right away about this place.
When we got to the hotel, tired after our long flight, we were told our room wasn't clean. It was 3:10 pm. They would NOT let us do an early check in. We waited until 4:10, our suitcases and everything sitting in the lobby. We finally get our room keys, and are directed to the Guest Services desk. The lady there tries to tell us about some free breakfast at another hotel. I had no idea what she was talking about. She went on for 5 minutes before I found out she was trying to sign us up for a time share presentation. When I asked her if Downtown Disney was within walking distance, her response was to laugh her head off. I never got a straight answer.
So we get to our room, which was supposedly JUST cleaned. It obviously wasn't. The bathroom smelled bad. There were hairs, the walls were very grimy. Our sink and shower drains were clogged, although they did come and fix that. Also, the pillows were extremely small, and non-stop traffic from the busy highway can be heard all night long.
If you want to go to Downtown Disney, expect to pay taxis or shuttles about $25 dollars roundtrip. If you take a taxi from the airport, we were told it would be $60 one way. Ended up booking a shuttle and it came out to be $75 roundtrip. I'm pointing this out, because if you are doing a Disney vacation like we did, Disney provides free shuttles to and from airport and to all the parks and Downtown Disney. This hotel does provide free shuttles to the parks, but they are at set times. Most of the time it was ok, but for special events like Fantasmic (at night), we had to hop a bus to another park and catch the shuttle there.
I should mention, the food at the hotel restaurant was actually not too bad. We had a breakfast and a dinner there. It was overpriced for what you got, but seemed reasonable compared to the outrageous prices Disney charges for food.
If I could go back in time, I would spend the extra money and stay at a Disney Resort. I feel like some of the money we saved from booking this cheap hotel was used to pay for extra shuttles to Downtown Disney and the airport."

"Ola, me hospedei com minha esposa neste hotel no final de março e inicio de abril deste ano (2013) e só tenho coisas boas para falar: 1 - todos os dias meu quarto era limpo (De segunda a Domingo); 2 - Possuia segurança no hotel e vigilante no estacionamento; 3 - O quarto atendia as minhas necessidades (o banho era quente e a cama era muito boa); 4 - Localização impecável, a 10 min dos parques da Disney (o hotel dispõem de ônibus q. faz o translado), e dos outlets, da minha janela dava para ver o outlet premium da Av. Vineland do outro lado da rua; 5 - o hotel era muito organizado para receber encomenda, da para fazer compras pela internet com 90 dias antes de viajar, cobram 5 dólares por encomenda, mas é um valor bem pago; 6 - quanto ao café da manhã, tomei nos 02 primeiros dias, não me adaptei, depois comprei no walmart e passei a lanchar no quarto.
Voltaria a me hospedar nele com certeza. ; Hello, I stayed with my wife at this hotel in late March and early April of this year (2013) and I only have good things to say: 1 - every day my room was clean (Monday to Sunday) 2 - He owned security and vigilant in the hotel parking; 3 - the room met my needs (the shower was hot and the bed was very good) 4 - Location flawless, 10 minutes to the Disney parks (we have q bus. does transfer ), and outlets, from my window I could see the premium outlet Vineland Avenue across the street; 5 - the hotel was very organized to receive orders, to make shopping online with 90 days before traveling, charge $ 5 per order, but is a value well paid, 6 - for breakfast, took us 02 first days, I was not adapted, then bought at Walmart and spent the lunch room. nVoltaria me to stay on it for sure."

"Stayed 6 nights at this hotel. Was very happy with this hotel for the price. Took the shuttle for 5 days to Disney Parks. You are limited with drop off and pick up times but you can leave on earlier buses and transfer using Disney transportation to give you more options. Buses were usually on time, was 10 minutes late once, but the traffic in Orlando is horrible and that can be expected. Went during Spring Break so it was a busy time and the buses did get very full but I was satisfied with the bus service. Hotel was clean. Kids enjoyed the pool and game room. Did stay on the side with Interstate and traffic could be heard day and night. Fortunately it did not bother us was able to block out and sleep through it. Lots of restaurants and markets close by, a lot even in walking distance.They even did an Easter egg hunt on Easter morning for the kids and they loved it. I will look to stay again on my next trip to Orlando."

"Stayed here before and loved it! Still loved it~ same nice pools, convenience to theme parks, friendly staff, great prices, decent rooms. BUT after checking into our room and found questionable bug exoskeletons we asked to be moved. The manager was prompt and concerned, and took us to 2 more rooms that we found more of the 'bug' carcasses on the mattresses. The 4th room seemed to be clear, however we slept uneasy. We did take the bedbug precautions when we returned home. The manager was apologetic and gave us comped buffet tickets. We were terrified that we would bring the bedbugs home with us, hoping that the room we stayed in was actually free and clear. Guess you take your chances anywhere you go, just always check the mattresses."

"The price I paid for my room for a 4 day stay was excellent. However, my room was situated on the side of the hotel that faces I-4. So, it was noisy constantly, with traffic going by day & night. If u are a heavy sleeper, it might be OK for you. Otherwise.
another location will be needed. The room was clean but could use some updating.
The front desk staff were friendly. The FREE shuttle to the theme parks ran on time only once the whole time I was there. But again, it is FREE. Next time, I use a rental car. Overall, good value on the room, everything else was just adequate."

"Great deal, if you dont mind the elevators being down half the time on our end of the building. Also, temperature regulation on the AC difficult when we were actually in the room. Water pressure was very slow. WiFi never worked for us after multiple calls to front desk. I only paid 50.00 a night so I did not expect everything to be perfect, but the elevators and the WiFi are easy fixes and should be addressed. Seriously thought of moving to another hotel after the first night, but toughed it out for the bargain. And I did not want to pack all my family's belongings for 2 more days to unpack again somewhere else. Best thing about this hotel is the location to I-4 (below all the crazy traffic) and the housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful. Probably would not stay there again even if a very reasonable room.

"You get what you pay for. The staff really was not friendly at all. No smiles or have q good day. The room was okay but i would def. Not let my child take a bath in thay tub. A towel rack broke when I went to hang a towel on it. However the pool was nice and my son had a blast there. I will def. Pay the extra money next time for a better place. Oh the coffee pot was broken as well and being from the northeast I need my coffee so I used there 2.50 cent starbucks machine in the lobby... don't you dare try to take an extra cup though after my mother waited in line for 20 minutes at the store to buy a soda because the woman was gone she then proceeded to flip out on me becsuse I had grabbed one extra cup to hold the creamers and equal . After buying 10 of those coffees I ddidn't think one extra paper cup would br a big desl soooo wrong and what made it worse was I could not understand her"

"Stayed at the Clarion for one night 2/2013, deciding to head to Disney one day early. Based on the reviews I figured it was a good deal for one night. The place is obviously old with some newer fixtures to try and modernize it. The king bed i paid for was not available, so they gave us a double queen room. You would be lucky to call that a full size bed. In the morning there were two bugs crawling around that kind of looked like a bed bug, although i looked at the mattress and didn't see one. They have shuttles to Disney, but the schedule is very inconvenient, and we ended up having to pay $25 for a taxi to get back. Lastly, I left my nice flatiron by accident in the bathroom, and for some reason none of the workers felt it was important enough to turn it in! Very disappointed in the this experience... On another note, we stayed at the Wyndam Grande for the rest of the trip which is AMAZING!"

"When we arrived they said that the hotel was completely booked due to a stranded group. They then sent us to a sister hotel that was amazing (except for the kid next door that screamed and cried the whole time) but the reason we wanted to stay here was its close to Disney and we had a 5:30 am race time. The hotel was a 4 star resort and was fantastic but it was ten miles away from Disney and this hotel is one mile away. I will give the hotel another try."

"This hotel is not family friendly, but would be good for a couple passing through or college students who don't mind a small room that may not be clean with poor staff service.
It was freezing when we arrived, but I was directed to a room where, when we opened the door, there was trash everywhere. Leftover pizza, hangers, napkins, etc. from the previous guest, yet the beds were made. I called the front desk and the girl who answered said 'well, so you want to switch rooms?' She then put me on hold while she checked in another guest. There were 8 unfriendly employees at the front desk when I checked in, so I was annoyed at this. Then another gentlemen picked up and asked that we come back down to get a new key. Not the best customer service considering we had 3 children under the age of 8 and it was 40 degrees.
When we finally got into the other room, the toilet was broken and myhusband had to fix it and I wasn't confident that the room was actually cleaned. I'd rather pay more and stay at a hotel with friendly staff, clean rooms and better service."

"we have stayed here for years and always found it a very good value but on this last visit we noticed things were starting to look run down. Our bathroom was clean but you could see around the tub and toilet mold areas. Very strong bleach smell which I'm sure was from trying to control the mold. a room with double beds and the check in girl tried to give a a single queen or king bed instead of 2 separate ones as confirmed on paper.We got to our room and the TV remote did not work and it took over an hour for someone to come and check into it and another half hour for someone to replace it.In the meantime,the phone lines in the entire hotel went out.We tried to use our phone chargers by our beds and the outlets did not work.We also tried to take the kids swimming by the water buckets and ground sprinklers,but they were not on at night time.(I only wish the times of operation of the water buckets/sprays etc...would have been published in the hotels description on the internet so we could have informed the kids because were really excited about this and were very disappointed things were shut down when we got there.The hotels buffet breakfast was great and the hotel was clean,other than a few black hairs on one of our bed's sheets. Somewhat disappointed!!!

The only complains are: bad shower - no water pressure whatsoever, but you can take bath. My partner and I was pleased during the 6 nights stay except for a some small hassles: the WIFI that the hotel promoted for was not working for three of the six days that we stayed in; and we were asked to move to another room the second day since the hotel staff placed us in the wrong floor, which has to be given to a large group; the shuttle schedule isn't good since it's low frequency... But overall, we loved its great location: very close to the premium outlet mall and a lot of good eateries around. Cleanliness and staff friendliness is very satisfactory for a three star hotel."

"Our stay at the Clarion Inn Lake Buena Vista was excellent. We enjoyed the hotel amenities as well as the breakfast buffet. The staff at the buffet and restaurant/ bar were friendly and attentive. The hotel receptionists were very friendly and helpful. The shuttle service was convenient, the shuttles run to all of the Disney parks, Sea World, and Universal Studios. I would have liked a shuttle to Downtown Disney but it was close enough to take a taxi back to the hotel for $10. There are plently of restaurants and stores in walking distance to the hotel if you choose to stay in and relax for the day. We would definitely return to this hotel."

"This was my second time choosing this hotel. The first time was great with no problems with the staff or the room. This second time was bad.The day that we went down to Orlando, I called this hotel varifying that we were still staying the night there. After my friends and I left Halloween Horror Nights at 2am we went to the hotel and checked in. The front desk sent us to our room with a smile on their face and details to our room. Very nice service. We get to our room and it's a total mess. One of the beds had the covers pulled back, a remote on it, a towel in the floor, open soap on the sink, a real mess. My friend called te front desk and demanded they give us a different room. They agreed and sent a security guard to escourt us to the front desk. The front desk told us we would have to talk to the manager about it in the morning and gave us another room on the complete opposite side of the hotel which meant that while we were dog tired at 2am, we had to drag all of our bags to the other side of the hotel while leaving our cars behind as well. The manager appologized then proceeded to tell us we should count ourselves lucky they didn't walks us over to a different hotel because they were booked so full that they had be walking people to different hotels all night. I will NEVER return! I will NEVER suggest this hotel and I will ALWAYS discourage anyone from staying here ever again!"

"Hotel room was decent for the price... had to request top covers to be changed due to 'mysterious stains' which was done immediately upon request, sheets were clean and mattresses was clean. One mattress was soft and one was firm...choice is yours. Pool was great for swimming...they supposedly have it heated to 10 degrees warmer than outside weather. This was the 3rd time we stayed at this hotel...it is very close to Disney, and there are lots of great restaurant choices near by and in walking distance. Would probably stay again."

"This was our second time staying at this location. We go each year to the parks for the holidays. Both times my family and I were very pleased with the value of the Inn. The rooms are nicely updated and well appointed. The rooms always appear and smell fresh and clean. The beds are comfortable, each room had a fridge, microwave, granite counter tops, flat screen Tv, large armoire and 6 draw dresser. The location is perfect, centered between Disney and Sea World/Universal properties. The entry road has light traffic and is a perfect bypass for I-4 nightmarish traffic. They also do not charge any additional charges, such as resort amenities and/or parking. The front desk employee's were polite and helpful. The pool and outside amenities were clean and well kept."

"We love the location. It's close to every kind of restaurant you could possibly want. Also very close to Downtown Disney and all the Disney parks. Also love the fact that there is no parking fees and also no resort fee. There is a coffee maker, microwave,refrigerator and safe in the room. We stayed on the parking lot side so it was quiet WE do not use their buffet style restaurant. There are several buffet's in the area that are much better for the same price. But for the room rate I think this is the best value in the area. It's clean, well maintained and there is also plenty of security. We will return."

"I was a little concerned after reading some of the less pleasing reviews, but decided to give it try because of the excellent rates and the fact that there were far more good reviews than any.
Our room was nice, the smell was refreshing, and the staff were very friendly.
However, the cleanliness of the bathroom and sink area did not meet my expectation. There was hair all over the place and the bath mat was literally black in some areas. My husband and I thoroughly cleaned the tub and sink before allowing our girls to use either. This trip was our 6 and 7 year olds first time taking showers instead of baths due to the lack of cleanliness.
All other aspects of the room were excellent. We ate breakfast at the buffet and the four of us ate for about $20. The only issue I had with breakfast is that we were given the option to pay tip/gratuity prior to sitting and eating. I don't know what we paid for because we never got anyone to even check our tables or serve us. There were 2 waitresses and a crowded restraunt and they never made it around to us, so I don't know how the 15% tip was applied!
The food was pretty good, no complaints there.
Overall the hotel provided everything a family would need, including a playground area and splash park for kids. My girls thoroughly enjoyed.

"This was our first time at this hotel. Overall we are pleased with the stay. Since we were only there for a couple of days we did not use any facilities. The room was clean but small. I would skip the buffet next time. There are better buffet's around (Golden Coral, Sizzler, Perkins). Staff was courteous and efficient. Lastly request a room on the parking lot side. It can be somewhat noisy for light sleepers.
We like staying at Comfort Inn's typically since they offer good values and breakfast included. Although the breakfast is limited. It's a good quick meal before heading out to the parks. Even if you pay a little more for the room, you will save on having to purchase breakfast elsewhere.
If breakfast is not an isue, Clarion was a great deal for the money."

"Our check in was Friday (10/26), I notified the hotel we would be checking in late. When we arrived at the hotel for check-in it was about 10:30 that night, I had two small children traveling with me and was told my room was located on the third floor in the middle of the building but the closest elevator was broken so I would have to walk around the build to the other elevator or take the stairs. Well with two small children I walked around the building to the "working elevator....
The next morning we woke to cold bath water and a non-working iron. After calling the front desk several times we did get a working iron but NEVER got hot or even warm water; so needless to say the two days we stayed at the hotel we were forced to take COLD showers. Try going two small children cold showers, it isn't fun AT ALL. If i had purchased the nights through the hotel directly, they would have to comp my stay or I would have stayed at anther hotel.

My first experience was not great due to:
-Broken dresser
-Clogged sink
-Unavailable crib, when we had reserved one
-Uncooked food served to my family @ Bar
-and more.
This time i choose to do it again due to the convenience of the area. I though things might have improved due to our complaints of our last stay, but had gotten worse.
-We were given a room that was uncleaned, with staff coming in room unannounced.
-then we were reassigned a room under someone elses reservation, and had stained carpet (at least plumbing was ok).
-house keeping put back dirty sheets onto bed, didn't bother vacuming, very sloppy job.
. This is not to say your stay will be horrible if you stay @ the Clarion, but if your one whom likes to be very relaxed and enjoy the comforts of an Inn then this is not the place.

"The hotel was ok for what we paid for it i guess. We were placed in a tower facing the highway and it was VERY loud 24/7. Although the hotel says they have Wi-Fi you can barely pick up a signal in the tower, the pool areas and the lobby are ok but you barely get a signal.
The bedding was outdated, the carpets were old, the bathroom had mold on the ceiling and in the cracks of the walls in the shower. The bathroom water also had a terrible smell to it, not sure if its typical for that area but it smelled like rotten eggs.
The soda machine in our tower was not working so i had to walk to the main lobby area in the dark which didnt make me feel very safe. But the pools were nice (small but nice) but the water was NOT heated so it was a tad chilly until you got use to it.
The buffet breakfast was your typical buffet food and not good at all in my opinion. But the location of the hotel was great, right in the middle of everything."

"This hotel was an unexpected surprise! Although the room would probably be a tad small for a family or more than 2-3 people, it was well worth it. I would definitely return anytime when visiting Orlando area. I was a little put out that my floor was out of bottled water in the vending machine and the desk clerk told me to go all the way back to the entrance and get some...however, a trip up a floor resolved that one! "There is no way you can beat the price of this resort hotel. They have 2 swimming pools that are very well kept up. They have a very nice breakfast buffet for around 10.00 and they have free wifi. I just do not know how hotels get away with charging for wifi any more, it is a ripoff. The room was clean and well kept. After long drive from miami to orlando we (12 peoples)came at 0229pm to hotel but we were not given room till 0427pm so rooms were not ready. and no regret from front desk. no help to get taxi and bythe way hotel is full service hotel.
Rooms lock was not functional. deadlock was not working. handy man made it work temprerily for all 3days but problem continue, we kept chair behind doors.room #5002
tv/internet was dead. in 3 days handyman was called 6 times and problem continue, remot was changed 3 times other equipment was changed but repairman says he needs to call technical guy who never came..

shuttle time was not published in hotel web but timing was very oppr, shuttle didnot came third days and we were waited till 10.12am before we took taxi(payment $18.00 plus tips) and it was late on second dayand was full and some couldnot got in.

hundreds of rooms and just two slow internet in lobby.. you have to stay on waiting line for more than an hour as you wait for somefree food dist center and limit to use internet 5 minutes onlyas you are in 4th world country.. . it gets disconnected itself with no warning and you cannot buy themepark ticket or even cannot check flight info or cannot check email and worst of all you cannot logoff and you are not secured too because it gets disconnected in middle of surfing.
checkout problems room manuals says you can have late checkout but one has to let front desk know your intention .. out flight was late so we requesteded 2 to 4 pm but she (asst manager) says noway my room is already on reservation to next guest. and if i want to stay after there I will be charged after 1200noon, and we reminded of our own forced late check in but she showed no mercy and she says to move on side and she was not ready to move an inch but if i dont move on side she says i will call security. me and my wife went beck to room to stay till 12.00 noon but another problem from room cleaning guy he was knocking door every 10 minutes to clean room and and he said i am not told by manager//// what a way to argue and we left room and we waited in hotel lobby for 3 more hour. "

"We were so impressed by the Clarion Inn that I have to write my first review. My family of three stayed at this massive hotel for five days and I must say that was our best decision. Although a budget hotel, the service was excellent and rooms clean and had everything one would need for a hotel room. Due to a delayed flight, we called and informed the front desk clerk of our scheduled late arrival and our preference for a room facing the parking lot (after reading the advice here). We eventually arrived about 3am; check in was quick and we got the desired room on the fourth floor. In the morning we discovered a shower curtain was missing; a housekeeper fixed that in under a minute! Then I noticed half of the buttons on the TV remote were inoperable: we got a new one in about ten minutes from a maintenance guy who happened to be just passing by! Two of the keys (cards) didn't work at first but the front desk fixed it once we notified them. The front desk was very helpful in advising on a choice of local restaurants (including dozens of coupons and deals) theme parks, scheduled shuttles, the local bus service (LINX) and taxis. Our return flight was for the evening, after our check-out time, so we still had a full day to hit the parks. Luckily for us, the front staff kept our luggage in a storage room area behind them and our more valuable items (laptops, IPAD and purse) in the business office, all for free! The rooms were surprising quiet, including the A/C, and numerous free amenities (coffee maker, fridge, microwave, safe, drawers, closet, iron box and board, etc. We did not eat at their hotel but instead had royal breakfast buffets at Sizzlers (for $3.99 with coupon; $4.99 w/o) half a mile away (good walk!) and dinner at dozens of nearby restaurants. So while this is not a luxury hotel, the service is responsive and timely, all for a reasonable amount. The free WIFI signal strength can be improved and guests be make to understand they need to accept the conditions first on signing in. An investment on quality control to ensure everything works as planned will earn them kudos from some of the grumpier guests. We'll definitely be returning here and will spread the good word!"

"We had a great stay at this hotel! I was worried because of some of the reviews I had read but none of those things happened to me. We requested away from traffic, smoke free room, and a rollaway bed, and all those things were accommodated! Great staff and shuttles were right on time. However I did not like the fact that we would be the first one there in line and then all those people would rush in and push my small children away leaving us to stand with small children. The splash zone was closed but we went to Disney world for 5 days and didn't even have time for the swimming pool so it was ok for us. We had a decent size fridge and microwave so we had packed our own food and ate our own breakfast so I do not know how the restaurant is. Overall this was a great stay, I will put this hotel as our choice hotel for next time!"

"Stayed at the Clarion Inn Lake Buena Vista from May 27th through the 31st. We had a great time and could not beat the price! The staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was kept clean every day, and the two pools were very nice. The location is excellent. It is within walking distance to several strip malls and has a bus stop immediately in front of the hotel. I would recommend stocking up on cheap snacks to take into the park at the Winn Dixie and enjoying an ice cream at the Twistee Treat Cafe on South Apopka Vineland Road (less than 1 mile away). We visited the hotel buffet each morning for breakfast (don't overlook the make your own mickey mouse shaped waffles) and twice during our stay for dinner. After spending $50 in the park for hotdogs and a chicken sandwich the reasonable prices for the buffet were a welcome relief. It wasn't a 5 star restaurant, but the food wasn't bad and the buy one get one free and kids eat free programs made it a bargain. The negatives we experienced while visiting include smokers on the balconies. When this occurs, the smell is sucked into others rooms via the air conditioning and isn't pleasant. I wish the hotel would truly go smoke free or people would stop being rude and go to the parking lot to smoke. Ozzie's splash zone was closed with no notice which was disappointing for the kids. The free bus transportation to and from Disney was limited to scheduled pick-ups and drop offs. I can guarantee that this would be problematic during peak season as the buses tended to be full even when we stayed. Also having kids and wanting to come back from the park early resulted in our taking the Lynx bus on a few occasions. All in all I enjoyed the trip and would stay at this Clarion again."

"I can't say enough about this wonderful hotel! My mom, daughter, and I stayed here during our 'girls only' trip to Orlando, May 7- May 19, and enjoyed ourselves so much we can't wait to go back next year. Upon checking in, the young woman at the front desk was extremely pleasant, and even asked us if we had any special requests as far as room location. She put us in a lovely room convenient to the elevators, pool, and lobby. The grounds of the hotel were beautiful, sprawling, and well-maintained, with several ponds and fountains, lots of trees and flowers, even a banana grove. Our room was updated, clean and comfortable, and housekeeping kept it tidy and well-stocked throughout our stay. We had to turn our mini fridge up a bit when we first arrived. I figured it had been turned down for efficiency. The pool area is nice and clean, well-stocked with towels, and was thoroughly enjoyed by my daughter. The shuttles to the theme parks were very convenient, and combined with the Disney parks transportation, we had no problem getting exactly where we wanted to go. We only paid for parking during two of the days we went to Universal Orlando, because we wanted to stay later than the shuttle pick up time. The best thing about the Clarion Inn, however, has to be the wonderful Boardwalk Buffet Restaurant. We got a buy one/ get one deal with our package, and since kids 9 and under eat free, we basically got to eat three for the price of one. This equated to approximately $20 per day total for breakfast and dinner. This was a huge savings, considering just lunch at the theme parks costs about twice that. Also, the food is very good, and there are such a large number of choices, even my very picky daughter found things she liked. The restaurant and gift shop staff are all wonderful too, very pleasant, friendly, and accommodating. The bar and grill was convenient. We ordered pizza there a couple nights when we got back a bit later and the buffet was already closed (it closes at 9- wish it stayed open a bit later). Overall, the Clarion Inn was a great value, and the perfect oasis to come back to after a long day at the theme parks. I highly recommend this hotel, and will definitely be staying here again!"

"We stayed at this hotel for 7 nights to be close to disney world. Room seemed to be clean at first, but then on our first and second nights there we had roaches in the bathroom. Our tv did not work correctly upon arrival and took almost an entire day to fix. Our air conditioner went out 4 times during our stay and finally they took one out of another room and put it in our room. That was only after we had went an entire night without it. We were offered another room until our air was fixed but it was midnight and we didn't want to move everything so they gave us free breakfast. They told us the maintenance people arrived at 8 am but they did not make it to our room until almost 9 am and that was after I had called to remind them. My little girl had an accident in the bed so we asked the housekeepers to change the sheets. She informed us that we would be charged for that and went ahead and changed them but did not put a new pillow top matress pad on so the bed was uncomfortable for the rest of our stay. Some of the towels they gave us had stains or holes in them and the shower had mold at the top. The safe and the smoke alarm were also both beeping from a lack of changing the battery. When we come to Orlando again, we will definetly not be staying at the Clarion Inn."

"After spending the day at Disney's Magic Kingdom we returned to the hotel to check in and had to wait almost an hour for check-in. We were so tired by the time we got our room. We stayed for 7 days and on day 5 our floor was wet, upon waking on day 6 our carpet was now soaked. When we went down for breakfast, we reported the problem to the front desk. They said they would look at the problem and call us while we were out to let us know about the problem. They left a message on the cell that we would have to change rooms but that it would be close to the room we already had. When we returned, we were told we would have to change rooms and move all of our stuff to a different floor. By the way, the hotel has to luggage carts or concierge to help with your luggage; meaning no one was available to assist us in moving. We were so tired and realized this was an almost impossible task, so, we asked to just stay in the same room for our last night. The next morning the manager informed us that we were not supposed to be able to stay another night in that room and were supposed to have moved (as though we were the inconvenience). He also told us that he had spoken to the night supervisor about us staying in that room.
This hotel was very minimal and basic. They have a children's splash zone but that was closed because it was cleaned improperly and was unsafe for use. The hotel did have 2 pools one on either end of the hotel. It was very close to all parks (Disney, Sea World, & Universal) and had shuttle service to all. The shuttle service was very friendly but very limited to the times they go to each park, mostly only one time per day to each park and only one time a day from each park. For example, the day we went to Sea World, the shuttle pickup time returning to the Clarion was at 6:45pm only despite the park staying open until 10pm. We had to leave early or pay for a taxi or city bus. The only reason we knew about the city busoption was because of one of the shuttle drivers who provided this very helpful information. It costs $2 per person, so you just paid the amount it cost you for parking your car. What is the point of the shuttle?!
The hotel staff were somewhat friendly, but check-in time left almost everyone upset for the amount of time it took to handle one customer(20-30 mins each). There were only 2-3 employees at any time including the busiest check-in times and when many returned after the parks closed. This stay for us was very difficult and I will not stay here nor would I recommend staying here in the future. Remember it is Orlando, and there are numerous hotels with many great discounts. Do not compromise standards by staying in this sub-standard hotel when you can stay somewhere better for same price or less!"

"Of the 11 Choice Hotels, Clarion is high at #7, whereas I usually stay at their #3, so I was delighted with the microwave and fridge, although the fridge was not very cold and ice was not strategically located. I booked through bookit.com and both checking in and checking out were a breeze: Put a credit card on file for incidentals and grab the key on arrival and, in my case, return the key on departure (no incidentals). I arrived at 1:30 p.m. and my room was ready. My "do not disturb... sign in my key card slot worked just fine.nThe booking desk was hawking their upscale properties and was not very knowledgeable about anything Florida related or even Orlando related. Lobby brochures very sketchy and were of no help to me since Disney and Sea World were not on my mind. I don't even recall a brochure on the Cirque du Soleil which had its own structure in the Disney Downtown complex just south of the Clarion. Though there were city bus stops in front of the Clarion, I found no information on how to make use of them. The Clarion's location only a short distance from the I-4 made the rest of Florida easily accessible. The room was spacious and the king size bed very comfortable. I was leery of my room facing the I-4, but the room had good sound proofing. I found the noise from the inside A/C to be greater than that of the I-4 outside. The shower water was OK, but I like hotter water and a more powerful shower head.nI appreciated the very alert security staff. I would have no hesitation staying at this Clarion again.n"

" This hotel is located very close to Disnay, great location with out the Disney price. We stayed at this hotel just for a place to sleep, nothing special. The hotel did have a mini fridge that was great. The little water area was closed and I guess is not going to reopen. The paint was coming off the ground and the kids were falling because it was slippery. If your are looking for a nothing special, close to Disney cheep place to stay then this is perfect. Pretty clean. Staff was nice, but she told me we were near the pool... we were no where near the pool. "

"My first day was not a pleasant experience. I Arrived at Clarion Inn at 11:15pm after a long 4 hour drive. When I got to the check in desk we were the only customers in line, the two desk attendant were on the phone for close to 15 mins before they attended to us. When they eventually got to us they told us there were no rooms available and that they had to put us in another hotel about 6 miles away. We chose Clarion because it was less than 2 miles to disney, now we had to go to an hotel 7 miles away from disney. We had to reload the luggage in the car and drive another 7 miles to find this hotel. This was unacceptable and I will never book at another Clarion hotel.;"

"I read so many people comments regarding their stay but I wanted my own experiences and I found the hotel top-notch with a grade of 5 for superior. I spoke with the Manager the morning that I checked out and told him that I had a wonderful stay and their staff was friendly from the front desk clerk to all of the housekeeping personnel. The Restaurant had the 'Best Buffet in Town' and the Gift Shop was stocked with all of your needs from discounted T-Shirts, sodas, souvenirs, and toiletries. I loved the fact that there is 24 hour security and the lounge/bar was very relaxing. My room was overlooking the pool and near the I-4 interstate freeway and the noise level was not uncomfortable for us. This is a very 'Family Friendly' hotel and the surrounding area is very convenient to other eateries such as McDonald, Olive Garden, and Red Lobsters just to name a few. Please do not allow others with their negative opinions turn you away from this property or any other property in the Lake Buena Vista area. I will be telling my family, friends, and others about my stay at the Clarion Inn and will recommend each of them to stay there because of my great experiences and enjoyment of the staff, services, and the location to the theme parks, outlet stores, and restaurants. "Excellent hotel. within minutes from Disney, Sea World, and Universal Studios. Shopping plaza next door has a Supermarket, restaurants, and shopping. After reading reviews about hotel overbooking and sending guest to their sister hotel 10 miles away, I decided to check in at 12noon. They welcomed me and checked me in 4 hours early! Everything was extra clean. Rooms were very nice. Enjoyed restaurant on site. If I must pick nick I would say that although they advertised free internet in the rooms, I could never get connected. They do have 2 computers and a printer in the lobby for guest use however, your session ends every 5 minutes. Another draw back is that the parking lot is located in the front of the building. So if your room is not right off the front, hauling your luggage to your room can be a challenge. But, once there, you will not be disappointed! I highly recommend this hotel!"

"It was another great stay at the Clarion Inn at Lake Buena Vista. Lizette, at the front desk is awesome. She always gets us what we need, and makes sure that my family is happy. We love this hotel, from the staff, to the pools, to the spray ground for my little man. It is just a hop skip and a jump to the enterance of the WDW property. The more are much more spacious then any of the 'budget' hotel on Disney's property. We love and can't wait to return next month. The restaurant is just ok, but there are plenty of great places to eat right around the corner."

"The shower had absolutely NO water pressure! Neither did the sink. The refrigerator did not even cool the bottled water probably because of the ice build up in the back of it. The breakfast buffet was the best part! The lady at the theme park ticket counter was very rude and obnoxious the last day we were there, yelling across the lobby how she 'hated people..Lord please help me because I hate people'"

"when we arrived at our hotel and checked into our room . it smelled, was dirty and the comforter was noticely dirty. My husband when down to the office and they switched us. the other hotel room wasn't any better but the comforters wasnt 'as' bad. however we went to walgreens and I picked up cleaning stuff and did my own cleaning. which i shouldnt of had to do since i was on vacation. my mom checked in the next day . a day later she woke up in the middle of the night to find a roach crawing on the phone and one in the bathroom. called and spoke to front desk they said to leave for the day and they would have room sprayed. came back from the parks at 10:30 at night and there was a roach crawling on the clothes in the dresser. called office and had us transfered to a different hotel. it ruined our vacation and my mom stayed up until 2:30 cleaning the clothes . she had to leave at 6:00 for airport ."

"I really appreciated the excellent deal I got. The room was fine, outside entrance, but it didn't feel too sketchy. The room was clean, though quite small (two queen beds). Our fridge didn't close all the way, which was too bad because we purchased groceries. The dinner buffet was horrendous - unless you're OK with rice or mashed potatoes. The breakfast buffet was good - lots of choices and sure to find something you like. The Splash Pad was closed, which was a big disappointment for us, as we have a toddler and were planning on spending lots of time there. The 'free' transportation is very misleading. They send one shuttle a day (in some cases two shuttles) to each park. Yes, the buses leave every 40 minutes, but they are doing to all different parks. The staff is very unclear about how you get a spot on a bus. Is there a line? What if you don't get a spot? Etc. We found it so frustrating that we chose alternative transportation, again, this was outside of our budget as part of the reason we chose this hotel was for the free transportation. What a shame. The final thing that really bothered me was the fact that I booked my reservation through BookIt.com, where I pre-paid for my room. When I arrived to check in, the front desk made me sign paperwork saying that I was in agreement with all charges, but the hotel had NO RECORD of what my charges were. There was no way for me to compare that what I had paid was what I was signing, and it was the only way they would let me have the key to my room. Incredibly strange, and made me really uncomfortable from the start. I think if the guest should have to sign paperwork like that, then they should have a record of what charges you are signing for. Also - AVOID the people at the booking desk. They are just trying to sell you on visiting one of their other properties, a two-hour excursion for an AMEX gift card. It took over an hour for me to get away from one of their sales people, when I just asked for some directions. I think they owe me a gift card just for that! All in all, great value, great location, but truly disappointing in other areas."

"We arrived at the hotel around 11:30am with our dog and was told checkin wasn'[t until 4pm. We asked if there was anyway we could check in earlier because of the dog. We were told that they would liet us know when the room was ready. At 1pm, I was waiting in the lobby when another employee asked for my info and he would check on our room. The first employee told him she had already checked with the cleaning people and theywere at lunch. She also said quietly that people who book through the hotel get priority on open rooms, over those who use vacation booking sites. At 2pm i was told our room was ready and the first employee was booking the same room for another customer. I did get the room and it was very nice and was very clean. We enjoyed our stay."

"I booked in advance and requested a ground floor as close to their pool/kids splash area as they could get us. When we arrived they put us on the 2nd floor in one of the furtherest rooms that we could get away from the water area. Besides, we were booked for an 8 night stay...the splash zone area for the children did NOT work any of the days we were there. They said it had a maintenance problem!!! Never seen it take that long for any part to be ordered and installed if anyone would have been truely working on it!!! We left early. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT !!! They were still flashing their sign out front saying they had the splash zone !!! They have it alright, they just don't tell you it's NOT working most of the time !!!"

"We stayed a week on the beach and planned on flying back out of Orlando and wanted to take the kids to Sea World. We booked this hotel for 3 reasons: price, kids' splash zone and Sea World shuttle. I called them a few days ahead to ask if we could use the shuttle in the morning before we checked in and they said of course. We show up around 10AM to find out that they only have 1 shuttle to Sea World and it left at 0850. So we missed out on that and spent $14 for parking. We get back after Sea World and check in and she asked me if I have a room preference. I say, just put us close to the splash zone since we are only here for 1 night. She informs me the splash zone is closed until further notice and wouldn't give me any details. I explain to her that this is strike 2 against them. She apologizes and that's it. She still puts us in front of the splash zone just to rub it into my kids face I guess??? 5th floor and little did I know it was facing the highway. 1 positive was the dinner and breakfast buffet. Food wasn't anything special but there was plenty of it, with choices and affordable. Our hostess was great. Very friendly. She worked late that night and was there for the AM shift too and she said she was coming back again for the dinner shift. She said it with a smile on her face. God bless her. I would not stay here again."

"Our recent stay was pretty much what I had expected. We paid $49 per night for a 7 night stay last week. This is definately a 'no frills' hotel. The only issues that I experienced were with the lack of service with the front desk staff. We checked into our room and found the room to be small but clean. The refrigerator and the alarm clock in our room were not working when we arrived. I called the front desk and they promptly sent a repair person to our room to fix both issues. This hotel has two pools on the property. The pool closest to our room was closed when we checked in. I asked guest services when the pool would be opened again and their response was 'I don't know. It has been broken/closed for a few days now. They are working on trying to fix the problem.' We had to walk further to get to the second pool for the first few days and then the pool did finally open after 3 days there. Prior to arrival I had requested that we have a room NOT facing the highway (due to the noise level) on two separate occassions. I was told both times that I couldn't request a specific room or location until the day of check in. Upon check-in I once again asked for a room not facing the highway. I was told by the guest services associate that I should have made this request prior to the date of my arrival. I explained to the person that I did indeed make this request twice and was told by their staff that I had to wait until the date of arrival. Her response back to me was 'we have a lot of new people working here and many of them haven't been trained properly'. We also had several issues throughout the week with our keys not opening our door. Each time we had to go to guest services to get this issue fixed. The guest services staff never apologized for this problem. They just took our keys, fixed the issue and handed them back to us. No explanation was given as to why this was happening. We added an additional night of stay to our reservation after we initially booked the 6 night stay. Upon check in I asked guest services to make sure that the additional night of stay was added to our original reservation so that we wouldn't have to leave our room and move to another room for the last night. They assured me that this was taken care of. However, they neglected to inform me that I needed to return to guest services to get the room keys/cards re-activated on the initial date of our departure. We returned to our room late at night only to discover that both of our keys would not open the door. After another frustrating trip to guest services they told me that we should have been told that the key would be de-activated on our initial date of departure. Communication skills is a definate area that needs improvement at this hotel! Other than the frustration that we experienced with the service of the front desk, this hotel is in a terrific location. We were at any of the 4 Disney parks within 15 minutes drive time each day. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping within walking and driving distance as well."

"We did not enjoy our stay. It is a cheap price so we did not expect much but we should have expected even less. The pool was ok--it was cold, so apparently not heated and it was right next to the highway. The super splash area that they advertisesd was not very super and it wasn't on so we're not sure if it even worked. At check in the desk person was difficult to understand and communicate with. The room was ok. It looked nice and the sheets were nice but the blanket had to be about 30 yrs old. It had nice new furniture, flat screen tv, and a granite top bathroom area. The tub was about 30 yrs old with a new tile surround that was poorly done. Our room was on the highway side so you could hear the rush of the traffic. We got a special with a BOGO breakfast buffet and kids eat free with a paying adult. They have signs in several places that say the buffet is $8.95 but for some reason they were going to charge me $15.95 for breakfast. This woman was also hard to communicate with and she said something about having to pay for a child because it has to be with a paying adult. Well to me if you offer BOGO technically that adult is paying and the child should be free. After explaining this to her she said sorry and said the bill was $25 something because she didn't understand that my 12 yr old was an adult. So we did not eat there . IMy husband talked to the front desk and they were not helpful and again difficult to communicate with so we checked out. I would not stay there again even though it was econmoical --it is very old school , not a pleasing environment, the staff is not all that friendly. helpful or easily understood."

"Some pluses and some minuses. I wasn't aware that the hotel bordered a highway. VERY noisey on the road side. Desk person would not change me to the other side of the building when requested. Might have to do with the price I paid. Room was adequate. HVAC system temperature varied too much. Breakfast buffet was excellent everyday although staff was mostly indifferent. Shuttle service to parks was excellent."

"My wife and I stayed at this Hotel from 19 to 24 April and 27 to 30 April for a total of 8 nights. The rate included buy 1 get 1 free American breakfast buffer of $10 and buy 1 get 1 free hot buffer dinner at $13.65. The breakfast and dinner were great with lots of choices and different daily menus. That saved us a lot time and money. The counter service was good. The hotel provided free shuttle services to all popular theme parks like Walt Disney World, Universal Studios and Seaworld. Shopping and eating lots were closed by and within walking distant. This is really a good value for money hotel which I'll recommend to my friends."

"We had a great experience staying here during our trip to Disneyworld last week. I was a little worried, because I had read all of the past negative reviews on several sites, but we had a very pleasant experience. We found a deal for $49/night - which was a great value for the positive experience we had The staff was friendly and our room was clean upon arrival (except the bathtub/shower could have been cleaned better). The hotel is very conveniently located - close to the parks and lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Easy check-in/check-out. Free parking - yay! A security post out front, which is always comforting. We stayed on the highway side of the hotel, and had no problems with the noise that other reviewers have mentioned. Okay, so it's not a fancy shmancy 5-star luxury hotel...who cares! If you need a clean, comfortable, convenient place to stay for a great price, then this is the place. I will definitely return in the future. Thanks!"

"Not happy with this hotel. This would have been my second time there because the first time I really enjoyed it and wanted to return for a few reasons. This hotel is an ideal location as it's one mile from the entrance to Disney and it offered a free shuttle to Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. When we arrived I was told that there were no rooms available even though I booked the hotel well in advance (2 mos). The person at the desk was soft spoken and she said to me that we were upgraded to a nicer hotel. At the time that seemed ok but I knew this hotel wasn't all glitz and glamor as that was something I wasn't looking for. We just wanted a decent hotel where we could sleep because we were going to be out and about all the time. But I decided to venture to see what was in store for us and right away I was so upset the location was so far that we were right by Sea World. When we arrived the hotel was HUGE! A place that holds conferences. There were a ton of ballrooms and we had to park so far away from our room that we already did a ton of walking. Now for a 6 and 8 year old this was not a great thing. I was also told that they did not provide a shuttle to Disney so we had to pay for parking for the 2 days. When I spoke to the manager he was trying to get in touch with the hotel to see if a shuttle could be provided to us but they were taking forever so I just decided to walk away and make the best of this inconvenience. I plan on writing a letter to the hotel and the least they can do is reimburse me for the parking charges. Not happy since all we wanted was a decent room to sleep and the convenience of being down the road to the entrance to Disney. Also, one more note as we were traveling on the highway we would pass the hotel and noticed the sign 'rooms available' what a joke."

"Got to the hotel and was told there was no room. I would have to go to another hotel on International Drive about 10 miles away. I told them that was unexceptable. "Good quality accord to 3 stars, fast reception and no Check out needed, just a call to front desk and go. Digital AC and plasma TV, the mini frdge and the Microwave oven were very useful for our 7 days stay. Beds were very confortable. The locatión is noisy because of the freeway aside de hotel. The pools are nice and clean with plenty towels in the área. Breakfast food was OK. Its really near to Disney area, and 10 minutes driving to Universal. Overall it was a good experience."

"Overall good hotel for the money. this is an old unit that has been refurbished several times in the past. The location is the value here and they work to keep it up to rosen standards. "I had booked 2 days and we got in early, so we went right to Epcot and didn't get back to the Clarion until 10pm. I was then told we got moved!!! NOT HAPPY. The other hotel was not even comparable to the Clarion and I had to wait in line for 2 hours before we got our room!!! No compensation, nothing!!!!!! The other hotel didn't even clean our room the next day!!!! My friend booked the end of our trip at the Clarion and the reservation was fine and the rooms were great!!! But after the 1st experience, I can't give them a great review!!! We were told that people at the hotel wanted to extend their stay and this is the reason we got booted. That should NEVER happen and if that was the case, they should have told them they are booked!!!!!!!!!!! If you want to extend your stay, you will have to move!!!!!!!"

When I arrived the send me to another hotel . a '4 star' they said. A hotel when a lost 25 minutos to go to epcot. A hotel when a lost 25 minutos waiting for the elevator. A hotel where the parking was like 15 minutos of walk to elevator. True they send me to rosen hotels. good very clean and pay for the difference and parking (parking was $13.00 a day) But MY TIME is my time. and they have time to let me know and choose another hotel. I will not recommend."

"Upon checking in to this hotel, we were informed that they had no room for us. The hotel made no attempts to call or email prior to our arrival. When I told the clerk that I found this unacceptable, I was simply told 'there is my manager' and was directed to a women on the other side of the room. She was of course already talking to other guests, as we were not the only family they did this to. She made no real effort to accomidate me, and simply moved us to a sister hotel eight miles from this location. The new hotel had no shuttle service to the parks that we were visiting, and we had to pay for transportation and parking. I would NEVER recommend this hotel to a friend."

"It is a decent hotel for the price. If you are looking for a good nights sleep do not stay there if noise bothers you. On 1 side you get the freeway and on the other you get foot traffic. At 7am we had 2 tour buses park in front of our room with exhaust and lots of noise from the passengers. On other days kids were playing loudly in front of our room. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The food was mediocre at best."

"Our trip didnt turn out as plan at first. We got bumped at the hotel and had to switch to another hotel. The hotel we were switched to was terrible. We ended up going back to the original hotel and demanded to speak to a manager. After a 4 hr ordeal we were able to keep our reservations. We are suppose to be credited back one night ??? "The hotel was clean! Great Value but the POOREST SERVICE i have ever seen! We waited in line to check in for 30 minutes and then we were told that they overbooked the hotel and they would have to place us in another comparable hotel. What a JOKE! We were told it was an 'Upgrade and had Deluxe accomadation it was DISGUSTING! The mgr was so overwhelmed with mad customers but was able to get us into another hotel. We orignally checked in at 3:30pm and by the time we got to the hotel we actually stayed in it was 10:45pm. WHAT AN ORDEAL! Would not recommend"

"I was pleasantly surprised at the value of this hotel. My grandson loved the splash area next to the pool, and a playground was also available. There were 2 pools available within a very short distance from my room. The rooms and grounds were well kept and the beds were extremely comfortable. The rooms were also clean. I received a buy one get one offer during my stay for the breakfast and supper buffets. Also my grandson, age 6, ate free. The breakfast buffet was very good ! The food was fresh, hot and very well made. It even included mickey waffles, freshly made. There are many buffets available ,free or not, but there aren't many this good. I will definitely stay again when looking for a value room in Orlando."

"The hotel was just perfect. Breakfast Buffet was definitely worth the extra $10 attached to our room rate. The buffet choices were plentiful and my husband enjoyed making his daily mickey mouse waffle. The restaurant server was very friendly and made sure our coffee cup was always filled. The bedroom was very comfortable and clean. After reading the previous reviews we requested a room facing the parking lot versus I4 and it was very quiet. The shuttle service was convenient and saved us parking at the various parks. I would definitely recommend this hotel!"

"We stayed three nights this past weekend and had a great time! The hotel is close to everything! It is near restaurants, malls, attractions & anything you could possibly want to do in Orlando. I have never stayed here before, so I was a little iffy about booking, but I am so happy I did. The rooms were very clean, beds were comfortable after long days at the park & the pool was sparkling clean! Rooms were updated and even had a microwave & fridge. We saved a bunch since we had the fridge & could store breakfast, snacks & waters. The only negative thing I can say, is that since we were on the side of the highway, we heard a little bit of noise such as horns & sirens, but besides that everything was perfect! I will be back & I'm so happy to find a new clean hotel to take my family to!"

"Got a good deal. but was a little worried about the hotel. My cousin, who lives in St. Cloud, stayed at the hotel after a Super Bowl Party. He said the hotel was very good, but I was still worried. On arrival, we were greeted with smiles and checked in quickly and efficiently. The room was clean and exactly what was stated for accommodations. The house-keeping staff kept the room clean each day we were there. For the price we paid, it was a very good deal and a very good hotel. The hotel is only a mile from Downtown Disney, and just an easy ride to any park you need to go to. Close to good restaurants and Rt. 4, what more could you ask for. Buffet style breakfast and dinner at a good price with good food. We were quite happy with the visit and would definitely stay there again."

"We arrived late in the evening. On arrival the checkin attendant did not greet me, however she made eye contact with me while she was shuffling papers and making telephone calls. After 4 or 5 minutes she finally acknowledged me. Asked me my name and proceeded to check me into ONE room when we booked TWO rooms. She was very rude during the entire process of sorting the details out and her evening supervisor was even more rude. I can't even put into words the frustration we felt apon checkin. I was afraid the rest of the stay was going to be as stressfull. Fortunately, the rest of the staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. Not sure I would go back again, but was a good price."

"Overall the hotel was nice, clean rooms with efficient room service, we paid extra for the breakfast buffet which was small but worth the $10 a day for a family of 5. Only complaint is the shuttle service, we ended up driving and paying parking all 3 days in the parks because the shuttle service was not good. they only offer shuttles at certain times and on our first day we attempted to catch the second shuttle for Magic Kingdom and were told that the first shuttle (which was full) was the only on that would be running and another shuttle would not be coming."

"We absolutley love this hotel, from the oversizes rooms, to the 24hr security. The staff for the most part is extremely friendly. It is always clean, and my family and I love the fact that it has a playground and a spray ground for the little ones. If you put your little one on the spray gorund make sure that they have water shoes. The painted surface is very slippery and my little man did fall and scrap his arm and leg. Their are signs posted all over the spray ground not to run, but try and tell that to a child. That is my only 'complaint', which was easily rectified with water shoes. We stay at this hotel almost every month. WE LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Booked and pre-paid my hotel for 5 days-4 nites for me and my son. At check-in they told us they were sold out and tried to 'qualify' us in a 'time-share property'. Come On, we are on vacation, so they sent us to a hotel on I. Drive. It's still a nice property, yet the activities and dinnig discounts where not valid at the new location. Long story short, the hotel charged me again and we had pre-paid everything already!. So I am in the process of getting my refund, which now it takes 7-10 days and hopefully they will do it quickly! Sorry, guys, please don't ping pong me as to which hotel will process my refund, just take care of a customer, that might give you a second chance!"

"The hotel was horrible and we are receiving a refund. The door lock was broken. Called for maintenance 8 times, 7 of those were answered. However, the door lock remained broken. The last night of our stay, we had attended one of the parks in Disney; got back to the hotel; door was broken, yet still. Therefore, maintenance helped us get into the room through a window. Therefore, I will be receiving a refund on one of the 2 rooms I booked. I intend on calling the Fire Department in Orlando for safety inspections. I also intend on calling the Hospitality Licensing Department in the State of Florida for inspections on this property. Our room was not cleaned until the last day. I had to retrieve clean linens myself. It was apparent someone was entering our room because our food was being eaten. We will most definitely go back to Disney world and will most definitely not stay at this property. Ms Avary"

"Room was very nice an cheap, the toilet leaks around the bottom an had to put a towel around the bottom small but leak, Maid came Sunday Morning around 915am to cleam room, we we just getting up she said I'll be back later. Well we went out all day, retured at 815pm an the room wasn't clean at all othe than that the stay was fine."

"I was awakened at 1:00 am by loud noise feom the room next door to mine. Yelling, talking, music and banging. I looked out the window a large man was standing on the balcony next door , this noise continued for hours. I got no sleep. I was afraid to complain because of the appearance of the people that might retaliate. I had asked for a wake up call at 5:00 am and never received. but I was awake anyway so it didn`t matter. "Yeap, I stayed in this place once. Found roaches in our bathroom the next morning greeting us. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and stayed on another occassion.....FOOLISH ME!!! The second time the roaches wanted to sleep with us....on both beds. We high tailed it out of there, got my money back and went to the Palace next to downtown Disney. Don't waste your money and time unless you want to stay with the bugs!! Trust me, this is no joke....it's a NASTY place. They couldn't pay me enough to go back and I wouldn't even recommend this to my worst enemy."

"I dont like how thrue Selling campaigne of holiday shares I get tickets to Disney land. In check in it was served like present from hotel. It should be warned or told, but nobody bothered to say that You get tickets after You have listened 2 hours selling stories. This put me feel myself on very low. I think this is guest fooling. "This have been the most excited visit i had, the hotel was really great. The staff and the people that helps you with information about the parks and the transportations is excellent. They know english, spanish, portuguese and other languages. The location is excellent besides the offer for the transport to all the parks. The rooms are huge and with all you need. Also you can see squirrels all over. This is a very good choise if you travel to Orlando."

"I went to this hotel last summer because there was GREAT deal then...literally paid under $50 for a room there because they were running a promotion due to the fact that they recently renovated. What a great experience we had! The room came with a microwave and fridge and was included in the price. The staff was very helpful. There was one gentleman in particular who worked the restaurant there...I always ordered the orange soda (Fanta) there. I will always remember this gentleman because when I ordered the soda, he always said, 'Fanta! Fanta!' Both me and my daughter enjoyed our two week stay there and would enjoy staying there again in the future. To all the staff, I say thank you for being a friendly bunch! :-)"

"We started out with a room that someone was smoking in. But they corrected that with no problem. Not crazy about the buffet food for dinner. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. We got our wake up call at 3:00 am with no problem. Great price. My husband is 6'1 and we were on double beds. I thought for the rate that was it. But my friend called in after booking and changed hers to a king with no extra charge. I will do that next time. And I will be back."

"At check in they gave us a room that was already occupied. We lugged our luggage up to top floor and back down again and the desk kept asking if we had the right room. Hey losers, I can read English unlike you! The following night we got no wash cloths and had to call 2 times for a response. The third night the toilet clogged and after 3 calls I finally had to go to the desk raise a stink. Took them over an hour and half to show up. Avoid this very poorly run, refurbished 70's motel at all costs."

"Will never stay there again,ants coming in the room and found a spider on the wall on my last night there,where the toilet and tub is,is just to small and who in the world would put a microwave,fridge and coffee maker next to the bathroom.Was finding hair in the bed and bathroom and I know it wasn't minds because I had braids.The shuttle back to the hotel from Disney was overcrowded I and other people I to stand up,how unsafe is that on about a 5 minute trip.And the light switch in the bathroom and the lamp on the nightstand had electrical problems.You can tell it was a old ran down motel that they tried to update.And food inspectors were testing the food while

"Free shuttle service to the parks, but very infrequent and also on their schedule, not yours. It costs anywhere from 20-30 dollars to take a taxi not including tip. Rooms are clean and have all that you need but location from the parks make it hard to get back and forth without spending a fortune. Just stay on disney resorts, they pick you up and drop you off from the airport for free and have regular free shuttles every 15-20 within the parks to all their resorts and other parks as well as downtown disney."

"We have stayed at many hotels, but I have to say for a hotel of this size NOT having a luggage cart to help you carry everything to your room is a first for us. If you want hot water good luck! It takes over 2 min for the water just to get warm. Never gets hot ! There is no room for your luggage after you unpack. Had to take everything back to the car. If you have no car you are out of luck. After taking off our shoes and walking on the carpet in the room, we notice that our white socks were no longer white. It only took a few seconds for them to turn black on the bottom. The phone was NOT working, but we didn't know that until the next day when we tried to use it. Everytime we came back to our room the key card had to be used at least 4 times to get into the room. WOULD NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN !! BIG MISTAKE !!!!!!!!"

"My visit to the Clarion Inn Lake Buena Vista was very nice. My boyfriend and I enjoyed the place very much. It was clean and the breakfast was great. I would recommend this place to my fiends and family.
The only negative thing I have to say was about the free transportation to the parks. While the bus was clean and the driver was very knowledgable - they didn't have enough options of times for pickup and delivery. They usually only had one drop off and one pick up a day at some of the parks. This was inconvenient as we had to wait around for the bus back to the hotel."

"We requested a room on the parking lot side and we did not get that. We got to the hotel at 1AM and by the time we knew that it was so late and we did not want to go back down to the desk. We were on the highway side and it was so noisy that we hardly got any sleep. We told the desk that in the morning when checking out and they stated that when we booked with Bookit.com the info was never passed on to them. Also our reservation said that we got a complimetary buffet breakfast for 2 and the night clerk said it was a buy one get one free. Luck for us I had the reservation printed and brought that to there attention. We like to come to Orlando for about 3 weeks 2 times a year and I do not think we could stay at this hotel. I will comment on the refurbishing of the rooms - it was very nice."

"I booked this hotel from Bookit and got a good deal of $55 / night including breakfast. I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights because i wanted to visit Sea World and then moved to Coronado Resort in Walt Disney. I just selected this hotel based on the price and reviews but i was surprised when i actually experienced it. Its an amazing hotel for the price. Great facility, nice clean rooms, wooden furniture, free Wifi, Fridge, Microwave, good service, good breakfast etc. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a 'Good Accomodation'. Its close to walt disney entrance, kind of a 2-3 mins drive. The staff was nice. I did not use the shuttle service as i rented a car so cant comment on this.
Further more, when i checked out my wife forgot her Gold wedding ring in the room and by the time she realized that i had returned my rental car and was in Disney Resort. She called the hotel and spoke with a lady. She was very nice and kind and contacted the room service and guess what, my wife got her Gold Ring back. Now this is amazing and i was so highly impressed by the honestly of the staff. I will definately stay in this hotel again and would recommend this hotel to all my friends."

"My stay at the Clarion Inn Lake Buena Vista was pretty good. The bed was very comfortable after a long day or driving and walking. The staff was quite friendly. The one bad thing I would say is that the shuttles to the park were not a great option to take. It would be nice to have earlier shuttles to all the parks that will take you there right around the time they open instead of later on in the day. We had to drive to the parks to get the advantage of getting there when it opened, which got very tiring especially after driving for three hours straight.

"My family recently stayed here and for the price, it was a very nice hotel. The rooms were fairly spacious, updated, and most importantly, very clean unlike the other hotel we stayed at in Orlando. Also, the grounds were kept up and nicely landscaped to give you the tropical feel. There was a security hut you had to pass through with your car coming and going from the hotel which may seem like a hassle but in the long run was good because it gives you a sense of security and helps keep out the criminals. Also it was worth it to pay the extra $10 per night and get breakfast for two that was offered when we booked room. Good location and close to the Disney parks."

"Found the Hotel through BookIt. Clean rooms, nice TV with lots of channels, nice pool, close to restaurants, bus to Downtown Disney out front only $2 per person, free shuttles to theme parks (great drivers!) and free buffet breakfast. We were pleased, only downside was highway behind us so little noisy at night. But for a hotel that you only need to eat and sleep it is perfect."

"We got a good deal for this hotel on Bookit.com. I believe our price was $49 a night. The room was clean and it had a microwave and a mini fridge. It's only about two blocks from the entrance to Disney. So if your driving, it's great. However, one of the reasons we chose this hotel was the shuttle to and from Walt Disney World. However, to our dismay, the shuttle service was less then useful. The shuttles only run every 30-45 minutes and they don't go often enough to every park. For Magic Kingdom their is approximately 5-7 shuttle times. For every other park there is 1. Also the pick up time isn't necessarily after the park closes. So if you were to use the shuttle you would have to leave the park early. That's terrible. But, that was my only problem with the hotel."

Within walking distance of pubs and restaurants. The food at the hotel was very unappealing so give it a miss. Bar staff were great and very friendly.
Only hotel in the area that all tour companies pick up from in the area. The Free shuttle is a big bonus and the bus driver is very funny.
Go to the Kobe Steak and Sushi. From 9pm Happy Hr special and it makes it a really cheap meal with happy hr drinks as well.

"I was very pleased when I arrived at my hotel. The hotel was very clean and the staff were polite and curteous. However, there was POOR COMMUNICATION from the hotel staff re: transportation. I walked around for hours trying to get on the right bus at the right time. The hotel provided free transportation to all of the Disney theme parks, but if you plan on visiting other locations beside the theme parks (such as downtown disney) you need another form of transportation like a taxi or city bus. I totally regret not renting a car. Also, a little disappointed in the restaurant/cafe inside the hotel. They were very small, didn't have alot to choose from& the food was ok, for something quick, but I wouldn't recommend to eat there for dinner. Everything was close by or walking distance. Overall, for the price, it was very worth the stay. The agent through bookit.com was very helpful. He was honest and made me feel more comfortable and confident in booking my trip."

"Hotel was fine, rooms are nicely laid out. It was sold out this race weekend for the marathons October 1st so when we asked for a room on the opposite side of the hotel than the 1-4 side we could not be accommodated.
I saw the recommendation online but all in all it was not too loud. Seems they could plant more or put a wall up instead of open fence to send some of the sound waves back to I-4. Staff very courteous. For the price it was a GREAT deal.."

"The room was great. Clean room, comfy beds, nice TV and bathroom, etc. The only thing I had problems with was the customer service. The front desk couldn't find my reservation so I had to stand there for 20 minutes waiting for them to get my room. They also tried to charge me again when I checked out even though I paid everything already through BookIt. I told them I paid already and they said they'd figure it out and let me go after about 5 minutes. Cleaning ladies also couldn't speak English to save their lives. She asked me if I wanted my room cleaned when I left and I said no. She asked me like literally 5 more times 'CLEAN OR NO CLEAN' and I said 'DO NOT CLEAN MY ROOM.' I came back a few hours later to a cleaned room. Ah well."

I booked this room through Bookit.com for less than $40/night. I was almost afraid to see what I had gotten myself and my sister into. Surely, no $40 hotel in Orlando was going to be even close to nice. Wow! It was wonderful. The room was very nice, the location was great if you're into the Disney thing (which we weren't, but it was a convient location for visiting family). The only negative comment I have is that the cleaning staff started knocking on our door around 8:30 am, even on the day we were'nt checking out, and they came back every 30 minutes or so. Aside from that, it was a great hotel! Beautiful grounds, pretty pool, nice gift store (where I got a very cute dress for $19!). We did not use the resturant or lounge, but it looked nice also. I definitely would stay here again! The official website for the hotel carries a price of $169.99/night, and it is THAT nice!

"My family and I stayed at this hotel for two nights and were very happy with it. Staff was friendly and the rooms were comfortable and clean. Only suggestion is to ask for a room NOT facing I-4 interstate as the road noise was pretty loud but otherwise great hotel and super convenient."

"It was great. Nice, Clean, secure very comfortable. Staff were great and checkin was easy. I must say. I did use Expedia a few months ago for the same trip and it was a bad experince. We did not get a room till the day after we were schedule to check in. The hotel blamed expedia and expedia blamed the hotel. Meanwhile we were in our car for 9 hours off and on with expedia so they could find us a room. No one seemed to have one available. So I went with Bookit this time. All I can say is Thank you for making it GREAT.. Folks if ever going to Disney. Clarion Inn Lake Buena Vista is where you want to stay.."

"We went for a holiday weekend getaway and was extreemly and pleasently suprised at our experience. We WILL stay here again for sure. We have annual passes to Disney and we were wonderfully close, our package included the buffet breakfast each morning and it was very good. On top of the wonderful time while we were there we discovered upon returning home that we were missing our Nook...we called the hotel the gentleman said let me personally check the room and call you back, he did promptly and had found the Nook. To find such honestly along with the great service, good breakfast and clean room. Fabulous experience all the way around..."

"We had a great stay here! It was close to everything and I would highly recomend this hotel for the price. The front desk was very friendly.The room was nice and clean and really comfortable beds. Nice new t.v and bath area with a fridge and microwave.We only stayed one night for a sports event. Was close enough to Wide World Of Sports. Didnt get to use the pool but it looked nice. We will stay here in the future again if needed."

"We stayed here one night. It's a great value as the rooms have recently been remodeled. Very nice pool and splash park. One thing to note, though, is that it's right next to I-4, so you can hear the cars all night long. Bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper."

"My grandkids and I stayed 10 nights at the Clarion in Buena Vista and we were totally blown away by our accommodations. The room was very large(for the money) and extremely clean. It was quiet and very close to all the attractions. The staff was friendly and helpful. My granddaughter has had many occasions to stay in $150 a night hotels and said our room was every bit as nice and roomy. The beds were very comfortable too. I would highly recommend this hotel and Bookit too all my friends. Thanks for a great time. Motel also has 2 very clean pools. "

"What a great last minute getaway on a budget. By using Bookit.com, I was booked with directions and flying out the door. Upon arrival, all details were in order and I was off to my room where I found a nice, clean, up to date room. Checkout was simple and as stated, right next to Disney World. The Price was great and We will be staying there in the future.

"I was VERY pleased with the Clarion Inn. The room was very attractive, very clean, and the amenities were great. I would certainly stay there again. The location was very convenient to Disney World. Check in was a little slow due to only one person at the desk, but a second was added and it was efficiently done."

"We stayed here for a quick end of the school year water park trip. Since we were not going to the regular parks, I opted out of a disney hotel. The rooms are classic old school style rooms. On the smaller side, but recently up dated. They compare well with the value disney hotels. The breakfast is fabulous! The rooms could be cleaner."

"Friendly, courteous staff. Great location-restaurants and stores nearby. Hotel extremely clean and nice updated amenities in room. Will definitely stay here again. Next time I will request a room on the parking lot side though, because the 'whoosh' of I-4 traffic is clearly audible in the room even with the a/c on. Breakfast and dinner buffet is adequate along the lines of cafeteria food. Gourmet it's not, but hey-when you're hungry and tired it works!"

"Cannot say enough nice things about this hotel. The staff were courteous, friendly and helpful. The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable - very updated; more towels than I've ever seen provided in one room. Excellent, central location. Plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. That being said, the next time I stay (and I WILL stay here again), I will request a room on the parking lot side, away from the interstate. The 'whoosh' of traffic is audible at night, even with the a/c running. The buffet (breakfast and dinner) was good; not great, but good, especially if you're really tired and hungry. Breakfast was better than dinner."

"My family and I stayed July 6-10 and was very pleased with the hotel. The location for all of the atractions was perfect. In the area there was alot if restruant choice as well as a grocery store for those late night snacks. We come to Florida 2-3 times a year and will book our stay at this hotel going forward. They will know me by name after a few visits. The staff was wonderful! Book your vacation here, you will not be disapointed. "

"I stayed at this hotel only one night and was unable to use the pool area simply because of the weather; although, the pool area looked like it would probably be fun for the kids. There was also a little playground that I'm sure the kids would have enjoyed had it not been raining. We'll hopefully get to use the pool and playground next time we stay. My room looked like it had been upgraded recently. The counter-top in the restroom area was granite and had a nice sliding door to have a little privacy without having to stand in the smaller toilet area. This worked out great for a 'changing room'. My room had a newer microwave and fridge that both worked well. There were only a couple of issues. The room itself was clean, but the shower was not. I decided I could do without a shower for one night rather than take a shower in there. The only other issue is how well lit the parking lot was. It was extremely dark, no street lights. So when we got back to the hotel late it was hard to find a parking spot in a well-lit area. Usually for a less expensive hotel I do not really expect much so I pleasantly surprised. I would stay here again despite those couple of issues. It was a nice hotel overall especially for the price and closeness to Disney. The staff was very helpful and polite. They also let me check in a couple hours early since my room was ready anyway."
