"First of all the directions to the hotel from the Orlando International Airport are incorrect. The address does not come up on GPS and the Resort name is in a conflict with another title that is being used. The hotel was not to standard as far as cleanliness and appearance. The pictures online look great but in person it looks terrible and a swimming pool and put put golf area is all crammed together. There appear to be better facilities in the area but not here. On my last day my room was not cleaned. The linen appeared to be dirty upon arrival. There also was an old mildewed smell in the hotel and the room. The first room I was issued was being occupied by another guest. When i called the front desk about the linen they told me to come down a get it. That was unprofessional and not courtious at all. I will never recommend or reconsider staying at this place."

"This hotel is the absolute worse place that I have ever been a guest in. We arrived and had to wait because a room was not clean. After waiting we go up to find two doubles after I booked a king and followed up with a phone call to ensure a king would be available. We go back downstairs to request the correct room and the attendant asks how did we leave the room? Seriously? We go to the new room and it has a slight odor. The tub was absolutely disgusting, the veneer had worn off and the bottom of the tub had been painted a totally different shade of white and there were numerous worn places in the tub. We stood on towels to shower and even with that, pieces of (paint?) would be on the towel. The following morning, we needed more towels, surprise, and literally waited 53 minutes for towels being told twice that they were on the way before being told that they were being laundered and there were no clean towels in the entire hotel. The staff is rude, slow, and incompetent. I fully believe you get what you pay for but this hotel was only slightly above some by the hour motel. Please spare yourself!!"

"Our room was next to the elevator, so every time it is moving, it was making a noise, I couldnt sleep, our shower was dripping all the time and you can hear people talking when your are in your room, also we had a king suite but it seems very small and clustered with the wall seperating the bed and the sitting area but over all , we made the best of it"

"This was , by far, THE WORST hotel experience to date! Where shall I begin?! The room was dirty, the bathroom floor had dried urine on it, the shower curtain also had a nasty smell to it, the fold-out sofa bed was broken and had nasty stains on the mattress, not to mention it was so thin and ratty, it was unusable. A roll away was offered (the next night) which wasn't much of a step up. Then there was the 'continental breakfast' which consisted of white bread, dried up muffins, cereal, rubberized eggs and frozen potatoes which were microwaved and thrown in a warmer. Once, a fellow guest witnessed the server spray the eggs with cooking spray to make them appear moist! I asked the man why he wasn't wearing gloves because he was touching the food and the garbage and whatever else was in his path...he spoke no English. I could go on, but, you get my point. Never again. OSHA alert!"

"My Stay at Calypso Cay was Ok But it is a very tired hotel, Our carpet was very stained , the tap for the tub would not shut off, the walls were scuffed every where, old TV , breakfast area very messy too small for size of hotel,had to reuse your breakfast plates and bowls because of the ticket system they use to hand you one plate one bowl ' unsanitary ' would ' NOT' go back"
