Moesto Reyes from Bronx, New York had this to say:
"I rented one of the 2 bedrooms condos for my family and the rooms were very nice and huge, clean, nice pool, had a problem with the shower called front desk they sent a maintenance man over and the problem was fixed within a half hour. I would definitely return again and recommend to others. "

"We stayed for a week in June 2009. I traveled with my 5 younger children and my adult daughter and her fiancee, I felt very safe. Staff was always seen on golf carts keeping an eye out, very friendly staff and pool was very clean. We will definitely be back."

A Recent Traveler from Davenport, IA had this to say:
"We stayed 5 nights at the Bahama Bay Resort in July 2009 in one of the 2 bedroom villas and truly enjoyed our stay. The resort is very clean and well maintained. It's located in a quiet gated community outside of Orlando, close to Disney but it's quiet a drive through Orlando to get to the Universal theme parks. We didn't mind the drive though because the resort was such a great place to stay in comparison to some of the motels we had stayed at in the Orlando area in previous years. The condos are huge and fully equipped, including a washer/dryer. We also enjoyed the other amenities the resort had to offer, especially the swimming pools and free DVD rentals. We would definitely stay there again in the future. "

Betty Kenedy from Warner Robins, Georgia had this to say:
"My sister and I visited the Bahama Bay and Spa Resort on July 21-25, 2009. She took her 8 year old son and I took my 2 year old granddaughter. We stayed in the three- bedroom Albacos Villa. We paid a $65.00 cleaning fee plus tax and a $5.95 a day amenities fee. The total of that was $100.35. We also paid $200.00 in case anything was damaged which had to be paid by Visa. You could not pay cash. Once you left the authorization was released off your card. We really had a great time. The place is really gorgeous. The only thing I saw that was wrong was there were villas that were not occupied and the grass needed to be cut. We also had a hard time finding the villa due to the fact that we arrived at night. There was someone available to assist us though. All parks were close by. Overall, we had a great time and will be returning again."

A Recent Traveler from Villa Park, il had this to say:
"We just returned from our trip this morning. I have to say that what we saw of the resort was very nice. We were looking forward to playing on the beach but could not find access to it. The pool that we used was just outside of our balcony. The resort is very clean and has a security gate, although several times the gate was up - not very secure. The villa we stayed in had 3 bedrooms and had tons of room. It was decorated nicely, but the carpet had several stains."

Tracy from staten Island, NY had this to say:
"We stayed here last October while visiting Disney World, the drive was only 10 min. The room was great! It was spacious with plenty of room for our 4 children to space out and play with their toys in the living room. It has a washer and dryer which was just great. I would return."

Colleen from St. Paul, MN had this to say:
"Very nice huge 2 bedroom condo. Clean, lots of room for the kids with a really nice pool next door. Would definitely come back. Only downside was the bed was REALLY hard. A little difficult to find, the street names are different from the one side of 27 to the other."

Leslie White from Atlanta, Georgia had this to say:
"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. I live in the city and it was very refreshing coming to a resort that is so relaxing. It was set back in a quiet location but close enough to any attractions that a vacationer could possibly enjoy. The amenities were great, the pools were awesome and the rooms felt like home. I do suggest bringing your own pillow though. But other than that, I would give this resort two thumbs up. I hope I get the opportunity to visit Bahama Bay Resort again soon."

Krystal from Panama City Beach, Florida had this to say:
"I just returned from a nice weekend get away with my girlfriends and we stayed at Bahama Bay. This place was absolutely beautiful. It was about a 15 minute drive to I-drive where all the action is, but it was worth it to have such a nice, comfortable, and quiet place to relax. The pools are gorgeous and the rooms are very nice. We stayed in the Grand Bahama Villa and my favorite part by far were the bathtubs! The spa was also wonderful. I had an hour long Swedish massage and it was heavenly. I would definitely recommend this place for families and groups who want to stay outside of the craziness and enjoy resort style living for a vacation!"

Kelli from OakHill, WV had this to say:
"wWe stayed in the 3 bedroom upper unit very nice and spacious. Pool was warm and clean but I would have to say the only disappointment about the pools is that they close at 7:30pm, so if you go to the parks you can't get in the pool. we found out later that at the club house pools were open till 10:00pm. Great view when on the upper floor, we could see the Disney World fireworks from our balcony. Also if you are wanting internet, the only way to have any is in the club house, you do not get internet in your room other than that it was great and very comfortable for our family of six. We plan on coming back in 2 months."

Charmaine from Woodbury, NJ had this to say:
"My family stayed in a 3 Bedroom condo on the second floor. Bahama Bay is very spacious, clean, and so worth every penny. The landscaping is beautiful, and staff was wonderful. There is a marketplace on the resort, as well as a spa, restaurants, fitness center, and pools so you do not have to leave the resort unless you want to. All buildings are in beautiful, caribbean colors. There is a washer and dryer located in the unit that I used quite frequently. I would recommend this resort to anyone traveling to Orlando that does not want to stay at a Disney resort. Bahama Bay is located within driving distances to shopping and tons of places to eat. It took us about 10 minutes to get to Magic Kingdom. The only thing is that the beds are as jard as a rock! You also have to bring all amenities with you, such as Detergent, dishwashing liquid, etc. The staff leaves you plenty of linen and towels. We would definitely go back. "

Linda from Sound Beach, NY had this to say:
"We booked a 2 B/R and were upgraded to a 3 B/R upon arrival. Our room was not ready, check in is 4:00pm and we got there early. We were welcome to use the locker rooms to change and use the pool. We had a bite to eat poolside, food was pretty good, as was the dinner in the Tidewater restaurant. When we went back at 3:00pm we could check in.I do agree that the directions on the website were poor, but we did find it. I would not want to try to find it in the dark! The grounds are kept very nice. The condo was neat and clean, but nothing fancy, that happens when you rent out- some renters destroy, so why upgrade. The cleaning fee you pay upon arrival with tax. The $200.00 deposit is put on upon arrival and taken off when you leave, no one had to check the room first. I guess if they find something wrong they will bill you. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We needed our boarding passes to be printed while we were in Sea World and they did it for us. We also called the front desk because our remote needed to be reprogrammed, and they sent someone immediately, and he wouldn't even accept a tip! They also charge 5.95 a night for the tennis courts and DVD rentals, but you can only rent 1 a day, see if this is worth it to you. I would definetely recommend this resort to families and I would come back here."

A Recent Traveler from cleveland, ohio had this to say:
"Stayed at Bahama Bay with some friends from work. I must say that it is the best placed I've ever stayed at. We had the three-bedroom deluxe. The place was very clean. I told my family and friends if they ever go to Orlando, I recommend the Bahama Bay. It was well worth the price. I also did not mind paying the sixty-five dollar cleaning fee."

Kim from Blountstown, FL had this to say:
"This was the most beautiful villa I've ever stayed in. It was exactly like stepping into a brand new furnished house. The 3 bedroom was huge with everything you could possibly need. The only thing which I was disappointed in was the cleaning fee. I don't think that is our responsibility. Also it's pretty hard to find. Otherwise, you will not be dissapointed, it's fabulous."

A Recent Traveler from Rochester, NY had this to say:
"Super huge three bedroom unit was ideal for a family of five. Plenty of space to eat breakfast and relax in after a day at the parks. Three TVs in the place made everyone happy and big screened in balcony made for fun card games. 20-30 minutes away from the attractions which was okay with me as it got us away from the touristy area. Our unit was clean and the kitchen was adaquetly supplied with utensils pots & pans etc."

"We stayed at Bahama Bay Resort in Feb.2009. It was my first visit at the resort, and i absolutely loved it. It was very clean, and everyone was friendly. I really felt like i was more at home than just staying at a hotel. I would absolutely stay there again!"

Allen from Congers, New York had this to say:
"We had planned to stay here for five days but ended up staying for 10! Our three kids loved the big rooms in our 3 bedroom villa - it was really spacious. It is a nice distance to all parks-about five-ten minutes to disney, 15 -20 to universal. Pools were nice, clean & warm. I would definitely stay here again. Another plus is the super walmart literally 2 minutes down the road, you can do your food shopping and not spend a million dollars like a lot of the other supermarkets in the area jack up there prices. The internet was limited to the clubhouse but we weren't that far from it and were able to connect on our balcony which was very nice."

Melissa Gulsby from Navarre, FL had this to say:
"We stayed in a 3 bedroom unit on the second floor. The staff was very friendly and the unit was great! Tons of space for all of us, my family of four and two grandparents. It was nice to have our own bathroom and grandma and grandpa could have theirs. It was great having the kitchen for breakfast before going to the parks. Saves a ton of money. Very clean and tastefully decorated. The only complaint I have is on the day of checkout I had opened the bedroom window for fresh air and the cleaning lady was waiting outside two hours early. She watched us load our car and asked us if we were all out and we felt very rushed. We actually left an hour before we had to because we felt so pushed. Otherwise a very nice place to stay for a Disney vacay!"

corina from Dublin, Dublin had this to say:
"Just back from Orlando .'At night it is a disaster to find .We drove up and down the 27 for an hour, eventually i went into Applebees and asked for directions. the Davenport estate is what to look out for, once you find that your 2 sec away. Once we got over that hurdle we were fine. We had a wonderful stay at Bahama Bay Resort and particularly enjoyed the man made beach. The only down side was the access door from the children's bedroom to the street, it made me very nervous. Maybe it is the done thing in the States but here in Ireland it is unheard of. Overall a good experience.'Tip: Walmart was cheapest for park tickets.''posted: March, 6, 2009'''"

Cliff C from Greenville, SC had this to say:
"The price is misleading. They have a $65 cleaning fee that is hidden somewhere in the info. So if you're staying one night, your price per night nearly doubles. Also be careful when you check in to count all your towels, dishes etc as they will charge you for anything missing. They have conveniently placed a fee schedule so you know how much you will be paying. Fortunately I counted everything and found that there were several things missing and reported it so I wouldn't be charged. The beds were uncomfortable and the stairway to the second floor was in need of repair. Having said all that, the pool was nice. If you're looking for a short stay, the cleaning fee effectively bumps the price up to a level where you could stay somewhere much nicer and closer to Disney. One last note, they clearly state that if you're late checking out they will charge you for another entire day. "

Kim from Dallas, GA had this to say:
"My family stayed at Bahama Bay last summer. The unit we stayed in was huge! The beds had nice down comforters. The kitchen had all the utensils and appliances we needed to eat many meals in the room. The kids loved all the amenities. We did not eat in any of the resort restaurants. We have stayed in many resorts and hotels in Orlando and this is probably our favorite, besides renting a private home with a private pool. We absolutely loved it."

Samantha from Long Island, NY had this to say:
"I stayed at the Bahama Bay Resort and Spa with my husband and 2 young kids. For the price I guess I can't complain BUT....my major complaint would be that the pool was filthy. I would not let my kids in it. Tradewinds Restaurant was ok, although the service was incredibly slow and we were literally the only ones in there. The room was a little musty and rugs damp, but once we turned on the AC for a bit, that cleared up. And yes, like others have said, find it in the daytime!"

Shirley G. from Moss Point, MS had this to say:
"Condos are adequate, not anything extra special, but excellent for price. However, be careful when booking because they refer to a 3 bedroom condo as a room. When you are finalizing your request, you request a 3 bedroom condo and they tell you that each room is $129.00, how many rooms do you want. I wanted a 2 bedroom so I told them 2 rooms. When I arrived they had me booked for 2 condos each with multiple bedrooms. Also be expecting to pay at least $10.00 more dollars for cleaning fee than what they quote you because they tack on taxes, ect. to the cleaning fee. So I paid bookit.com for 2 condos, when I really only wanted one due to the resorts ambiguous terms. Also. a bit far out of Orlando."
