"We were initially given a room in one of the two story buildings. The smell in the room was unbearable. The carpet was stained and frayed everywhere. The entire room looked and smelled like a motel from 1972. There was no way we were staying there. I went to the front dest and they gave a room in the tower building. This room was acceptable for the price I paid, but there is no way either room was a 3.5 star. The tower room may have been a 2.5, but the first room was a 1."

"I cant complain about the price for the room, but I will complain about the room. It was not clean. The shower curtain had soured. The room was not what I was told it would be. I also was very disappointed in the 'free shuttle' service. They did have shuttles, but extremely limited. We had a good time, but I wouldn't stay there again."

"We have stayed at this property several times. We booked coming and going from our trip this Christmas 2012. The room for New Years Eve was dirty, the tub had black in and around it, carpet was faded, dirty and full of spots and the sheets had visible holes on top. We will not return to this location even though our rooms in the past were clean and updated. Oh yeah, they charged us on our card for a prepaid room and it took 3 business days not including holiday for this to come off our account. Christmas day and new years day staff were new and not well trained."

"We just returned yesterday from our week long trip to Disney. This hotel didn't live up to standards I would have expected from that brand. The rooms look 'pretty' but the housekeeping did a HORRIBLE job cleaning. I asked to have the sheets changed because of a spill on the bed, and instead they ignored my request and just remade the bed as if I wouldn't notice the large wet spot still there. We ordered room service and they left the dirty dishes in our room for days. We used the shuttles to and from the park, however they were constantly late and would take forever to get around. We made several stops at other hotels to pick up more people until there was no room left, literally standing room was full too... and then would take a 30-45min drive to the park. It's only 6 miles away, there is no reason why it should take an hour to get to and from."

"The hotel itself was great. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We loved the room but as a typical hotel you could hear the other doors opening and closing, etc. The onsite restaurant was expensive and even with the credit they gave us toward the restaurant it just wasn't worth it to use it. Eating off site was much more of a savings. An example: bowl of cereal, $8."

"Positives -
If you care about amenities & interior design, this hotel won't let you down. The hotel has a Balinese theme, modern sinks and beds with flat screen TVs. We booked at around 70 a night in April, a great rate for this hotel. When we arrived we were greeted at the entrance and again asked if there was anything we needed while we were waiting to check in. The landscaping is beautiful, sometimes we would just walk our dogs through the grounds checking out all the flora and fauna, the occasional brightly colored lizards. At night there would be fire pits lit everywhere - lots of stuff to do as well on the grounds; mini golf, pool, etc. If you are an aesthetics minded person, you will be happy as they have put a lot of energy into making this resort look nice and modern while still being affordable.
Negatives-
We liked the hotel so much that we tried to stay another night, though it was last minute we expected we may not be able to. The front desk worker told us she could book us another night, we got our hopes up only for the manager to jump down her throat in front of us and say 'NO WAY.' The manager didn't even have the decency to LOOK at us or address us while she was breaking the bad news to the front desk worker, despite the money we had already spent at her hotel. She walked away in a huff, very very rude. This was the only experience we had with poor customer service, although it was a manager - take that as you will. If I were this hotel, I would absolutely get rid of this bad apple.
Also, the hot tub was broken for the majority of our stay. We are hot tub nuts, so this was a bit disapointing, we stayed for 7 days and I believe it was finally fixed for our last 3.
The hotel decided to close the poolside bar our last day there. We were planning on having drinks by the pool our last day only to find the bar closed due to low volume.
Our room was by no means scrupulously cleaned on arrival. Our dog immediately found a cookie nestled behind the head board of the bed. There was definitely a strange stain on the carpet by the connecting door - blood or chocolate? Who knows. It was very minimal, we are also clean freaks and did not feel horrified by any means. Surely these poor room cleaners are paid minimum wage salaries and aren't killing themselves to find every crumb in every corner.
The 14 dollar parking fee per day is a bummer but we got this hotel at such a good rate that it didn't sting too bad.
Overall, I would definitely stay here again - especially for the rate I recieved the first time. I would take the gamble of that rotten manager hopefully being gone, the hot tub in working order, etc. The positives, in my mind, far outweigh the negatives. Very cool modern rooms, pretty grounds, great pools and poolside bar - worth the price if you pay $100 or less."

"We had a great time in Orlando and at all the parks and restaurants! We had an interesting experience when we arrived...we had booked a different hotel than this one and the other one smelled terrible like must/mold (again the other hotel), so we changed our reservation on the spot and did an INCREDIBLE job helping us change hotels, and actually upgraded us to this hotel for not much more! We were very thankful. This hotel is very nice...the rooms were comfortable and nice, and the landscaping was beautiful, and also nice pools. The only things that weren't quite up to par should be was the person who was working the reception desk when we checked in was quite rude with us, the beds were ok, but not great, and a very small bathroom. However the room service and daily service was great, and the room itself was modern and very good size. We could stay there again...if the price was right."

"Stayed 1 night while we went to Halloween Horrors. Only a 5 minute drive to Universal it was wonderful. Kids swam, played golf, human chess and ping pong. Not quiet but if you are staying there and not planning to sleep all day it's wonderful. There is a $15 parking fee but if you get the low $69 rate it's not that bad of a price."

"I just took my family to Orlando this past week and things weren't as expected with this hotel. First, when we got to the property, we had to be moved twice, due to the carpets being soaked in both rooms. Still not sure why they were wet. Then, it would've been nice if someone would've told us that we could've put up cash for the 25.00/night incidental fee that the hotel charges. They didn't even bother to tell us they were putting a hold on the card for a specific amount to begin with--which would've been nice.
The best thing about the property is the landscaping. It was rather nice, but then again, this is what a 35 million dollar upgrade looks like. The food was terrible and WAY overpriced. 12.00 for a burger? Really? Our server was horrible and that ended up being escalated to the chef in the restaurant. Needless to say, I won't be booking another night here. The beds were horrible. Woke up every morning with a backache."

"We had a great time during our 6 night break to Orlando. The hotel was really good, we had a wonderful room, great to have good quality coffee in the room, The staff were friendly, the complimentary shuttle service to Universal suited us just fine and we went on the I-ride one evening for $1.25 to dine out. A couple of restaurants across the road were good - an Indian restaurant and Delmonico's Steakhouse - great pasta dishes and steak dishes.

"Kudos to this resort-it is the perfect balance for a family with young kids or a romantic trip for two-I have never seen that done before! This resort is laid out so well-on one end is a pool for younger kids, giant chess board, pool tables, min putt putt, on the other end of the resort a pool for adults only with calm music playing, in the center of the resort a fun pool for adults and kids with a bar! I believe the staff makes all the difference when rating a property and the staff here from the greeters outside to housekeeping were steller. Everyone went out of their way for us-in a proactive way-it was amazing. Our family was standing out side trying to figure out the best way to get to Seaworld-do we wait for the shuttle or walk (fabulous location by the way:)-we were approached by one of the groundskeepers and offered assistance! Eventually we made our way to the shuttle pick up to find we had just missed it so we decided to walk. When a valet heard that he ended up driving us to SeaWorld in a golf cart-that is top knotch service! The grounds are tropical and beautiful, the rooms were recently redone. The gift shop had everything you could possibly need including a cell phone charger that we had left at our previous hotel. The breakfast buffet was delicious with fresh food. The staff running this hotel have it down to a science. I highly recommend it!"

"The grounds were beautiful! The pools were very clean and towels were available. We were given a $25.00 voucher for food and drinks, but what we weren't told was that it was only for breakfast from 6:30-11:00. The room we had was in building #17. It has a funny smell and I felt that it was cave like. Very dark. The bathroom was very small. The one negative that will keep me from coming back is the daily parking fee of $15.00 a day. There are plenty of other hotels that don't charge for this."

"The resort was great! We enjoyed the resort and the service was excellant. I was pleasantly surprised by their follow up and attention to detail. There was plenty to do for entertainment at the hotel and the location was conveniently located close to the parks Disney and Universal, outlet malls and restaurants. There was a slight mixup with my room so they corrected my room and provided us free parking for the inconvenience. Also, there are restaurants and three pools on the property. We generally stay at 5 star properties. However, the agent highly recommended this property and I must admit, it was a good value and nice hotel. I would recommend this hotel and return in the future."

"OUR STAY AT THIS HOTEL WAS NICE EVEN THOUGH THE PICTURES OF THIS PROPERTY ON THE WEBSITE I DIDN'T SEE. WE STAYED IN BUILDING 16 WHICH WAS OK SINCE IT WAS RIGHT BY THE ENTRANCE AND THERE WAS A POOL BEHIND OUR BUILDING. THE POOL WAS GORGEOUS AND MY KIDS LOVED IT. IT WAS SO RELAXING TO GO THERE AND LAY UNTIL DARK. I LOVED ALSO THAT THE POOL WAS 8 1/2 FEET DEEP. IT IS HARD TO FIND POOLS THAT DEEP ANYMORE AT A HOTEL. THE DOWNER WAS THAT WE HAD TO PAY FOR PARKING EACH DAY WHICH WAS ABOUT 14 PER DAY NOW WITH THAT BEING SAID OUR CHECK IN DATE WAS SATURDAY 6/9 BUT BECAUSE WE WAS LATE AND CHECKED IN AFTER MIDNIGHT WE STILL HAD TO PAY 14 FOR PARKING ON THE SATURDAY THAT WE WAS NOT THERE. THE LADY AT THE DESK SAID AFTER I QUESTIONED HER ABOUT IT I NFORMED ME THAT THE COMPUTERS DID NOT START A NEW DAY UNTIL ABOUT 4AM. OK SO WHATEVER I PAID BUT THEN WE GO TO PULL AROUND AND THEY HAVE GATES THAT RISE AND FALL AFTER YOU SUBMIT YOUR ROOM CARD, WELL THEY DIDN'T WORK THE ENTIRE TIME THAT WE WAS THERE. WE WOULD EITHER HAVE TO REVERSE AND GO IN THE EXIT WAY BECAUSE THAT GATE SEEMED TO BE UP MORE OR WE WOULD HAVE TO SIT AND WAIT AND ASK SOMEONE THAT EITHER WORK THERE ON THE PROPERTY TO LET US IN OR WE WOULD HAVE TO ASK ANOTHER CAR PULLING IN BEHIND US. VERY EXPENSIVE TO PARK AND THEN BE INCONVIENCED. YOU WOULD HAVE THOUGHT THAT THEY WOULD HAVE OFFERED ME A REFUND OR CREDITED MY ONE DAY THAT I WAS NOT THERE."

"The hotel was very nice and the rooms were very clean. However, the front desk staff was not very friendly. I felt as though since I had booked through a third party I was being treated like a lower class citizen. After checking in I had to return to the front desk due to neither of my two room keys did not open the room door that I had been assigned. This property is very spread out and it was a long walk. A long walk back with no true apology from the front desk staff. The parking gate for the self parking lot was often not functioning properly. I had to return to the front desk more that three times to get my parking lot access card reactivated during a two day stay. Non front desk staff that I encountered were very friendly and helpful. The front desk should take lessons from the other staff members."

"This was a great hotel/resort for my family. The rooms were renovated. The ammenties and activities at the hotel/resort were great. They have things other than your Disney Trip to do on the grounds. My room did not have a refrigerator or microwave and I wanted one but we did without. The staff was friendly. I was not aware of the daily parking fee but I adjusted. "The hotel was awesome. Beds great and facilities wonderful.. Bus service to Disney Parks sucks. They only deliver you at 3 different times and pick up a few times. It takes over an hour to get to the parks and over an hour to get back. They have people squished in the bus with standing room only in a bus that should not have people standing. I would not book this if you need a shuttle service that you can count on. Otherwise a great hotel if you want to drive to the parks. We did our last day."

"We had a blast over Easter weekend. The hotel was very nice, rooms were clean, and we all slept like babies. What more could you ask for? The hotel offers all sorts of activities, and we really enjoyed that. The only complaint was that the hot tub wasn't hot while we were there... and the front desk staff explained that they were waiting for a part to come in soon to get it fixed. Although... they didn't tell us when we checked in that it wasn't working. Not a big deal though... stuff happens, and everything else was great."

"Well, I have read some of the reviews of the mystery hotel and just ask those people who had a bad review if they just stopped and looked around at how well kept and beautiful this resort is. There were many people every day cleaning, wiping, mowing and picking up around the resort after a bunch of messy guests. This resort is a place like no other in the area. 3 pool areas-that are kept very clean, landscaping that is amazing, different food options, things for kids to do besides just swim. There is a lot of pride these people put out every day - when you walk by someone who works there, they always say hi and have a smile - must be an ok place to work then. The rooms are well cleaned and always restocked with fresh linens, soaps, shampoos and towels, if you need extra just ask housekeeping - they are always happy to give you what you need. When we asked or needed something - it was taken care of within 10 mins or less - how many places can you say do that, I ask you? Not too many I imagine - this place has the staff to take care of all your needs and wants. Those that say the menu is too expensive and the breakfast out rageously priced - you must not eat out at nice restaurants or go to a nice sunday buffet. The food was excellant and it should be enjoyed - not criticized for the price - there was a subway across the road! The breakfast buffet - amazing - not many spreads like that one - everyone in there eating seemed to think the food was pretty darn good and they were enjoying it!! The location couldnt be any better right there off the highway and in a great location on international drive. The cost of parking, not too horrible, but it is a gated resort to help keep people from driving through the parking lot. I just think people need to look around and take notice of things instead of being in such a hurry all the time - enjoy your surroundings - treat people the way you want them to treat you!! Enjoy life instead of finding something negative to point out or get upset about!! This resort can have and be all you want it to be- if you dont want much -you can have that too - plenty of places to eat outside of the resort if the resort choices are too much for you. Enjoy this place - we did and we would return again without question - I have recommended this place to many people - some who have stayed and really enjoyed it."

"The hotel was beautiful and the rooms were very nice. My only disappointment was that they charged $14 per day for parking. I know that most places charge for parking now but NOT $14. I thought that was excessive and I spoke with another guest who was so outraged by it that he fought it and got it removed from his bill."

"When i arrived to the room on 3/20/12, i was assured by a representative that this room and resort would be nothing like the experience i had the night before, at around 12:30pm i checked in to the non-smoking room, my nose was hit with a smell of cigarettes, it felt like the person the night before had smoked a whole carton in there, when i went to the front desk to ask for a different room, the clerk so rudely said this is all we have, the next morning i checked out and noticed that my hotel room service bill seemed to have been altered, as if i tipped the attended around $10 on a 20 bill, then the worst came when the front desk clerk forgot to return my ID at checkout, i didn't notice because i was about to miss the shuttle for my theme park, and only noticed when i had arrived to the ticket counter at universal studios, i was not able to receive my $40 florida resident discount because of the carelessness of the clerk, when i arrived later back at the hotel, i immediately went to the front desk and asked for my ID, she was so rude and called a hotel manager at my request, i calmly asked him to check behind the counter and if he had to the surveillance tape so that he could clearly see that i was right, he then told me 'i would need a federal subpoena' to have this done, i then asked him to called the police (non emergency) he refused and pointed at his security guard and said 'this is my police' the security guard escorted me outside and told me to leave the premisses (very unprofessional and no way to treat a guest!) outside he began to put his hands on me lightly, and ripped off his name-tag when i asked for his name, i left on my own called the police from across the street and am currently waiting for a police report number from the orange county sheriffs department, i will not be paying this $79.66."

"Although, the staff and some of the amenities were very good including the on -site restaurant, my greatest disappointment was the pools. They claim that the pools are heated, perhaps to the liking of Artic Penguins ,and the fact that there is only one jacuzzi for what looks like several thousand guests did not meet my expectations of a 3.5 star hotel either. It was always packed with people, a dozen or so at any given momment, but especially in the evening when my wife and I wanted to unwind after the parks. I also found the odor of the sprinkler system extremely offensive and made me gag a couple of times because they used reclaimed water, it smelled like pure sewer. On top of that, the sprinklers soaked anyone who tried to negotiate the walkways and the sewer smell stayed on our clothes where we had to go and take baths and switch colthes. I understand turning the sprinklers on when all the pools are closed in the early AM, but not at 10 PM when peple are still walking around. The parking was hideous and expensive as well. I would never pay the full price they ask for to stay there"

"We found the Mystery Hotel, very enjoyable. The rooms were very attractive and clean. We had two connecting rooms, one only had a shower which could have used remodeling, but the other did have a tub/shower. One toilet was on uneven flooring and rocked when used. There were very nice Crabtree and Evelyn toiletries and handy pocket doors which could be used to separate the sink area.It was nicely decorated. The grounds were lovely and the 3 different pool sections had something for everyone. We didn't use the restaurants but thought the Deli near the mail lobbly a plus. The staff was friendly and helpful. The cookies at check in a nice touch. All in all we would be happy to stay there again."

"This resort is just average. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful, but the resort itself could be cleaner or more customer friendly. You have to pay $14/night for parking in their parking lot. The bathrooms in the suites are extremely small with outdated shower tile. Beds are NOT comfortable, especially sofa sleepers. No nice blankets, just sheets and a very light blanket....even when you request extra. I was very disappointed. I expected much better."

"Hi, My trip to Orlando was excellent and the service I got at the Hotel was excelent too. It's the second time that my family and I stayed in the hotel and we didn't have anything to complain. Service was good and the employees were very friendly. Room was confortable and the room service was good. I felt that we were at our second home. Facilities as the Internet, suttles and the trolies to the Parks and Malls were excelent. We already plan to visit the hotel again next year on our next vacation. Hope you will keep the high standards that your guys offert."

"Rooms did not offer free WIFI -only in lobby which was far away. But the worst was the staff could not give directions on how to get to their hotel from Downtown Disney -which is a MAJOR landmark. Staff said, 'Not familiar with it' and wouldn't look up on their computers saying they had no internet access even though they are sitting right on front of a computer!! We also stayed 4 days and only got one bar of soap. Late at night, when we asked for an extra blanket and 40 minutes went by I called to ask if it was coming as I needed to go to sleep and was told it had only been 5 minutes since I asked for it. What happened is that it was 35 minutes before the staff put in the request. They did offer to give me free parking as a consolation- but then didn't do it. I had to stay later when wanting to check out so I could get them to take care of it, which they did do. The rooms were nice but the area and the tap water smelled terribly of sulfar- I didn't even want to wash my face w/it it was so stinky and there was no decent water to drink."

"We arrived late and the directions to the hotel did not say that the only entrance into the hotel was on Westgate Rd. At check in, we were assigned a room but parking was so limited that we had to drop off our suitcases and walk a distance to our room and park far away since the lots were so full. We had asked for a fridge and it was delivered but it did not work. When we tried our key, three keys were issued, none worked and it wasn't till the next day after numerous calls that the door was fixed. The gate leaving the hotel, also was difficult to negotiate.

"I wish i had not bothered!
I Booked in June & stayed there in November 2011
1) Bookit missed spent my Surname on there system when they were taking payment from my credit card over the phone!!!! This meant i had to call them several times a day for over a week trying to get someone to listen & help!
I had no Booking reference which means you cannot get onto their website? When i got to speak t someone it was only because i pretended to buy another product!
Is that is all they are interested in?
2) When I got to the Hotel I was inpressed by the building & the location! The rooms where clean with nice decor, new beds & a color TV. Free Wifi in the lobby? Receptionist very professional but i felt unworthy(probably because of the rate i paid?
The let down started when I checked into our room!
It stank of stagnate air & was moldy! Swimming Pools were in a poor state a little more effort in cleaning them would not go a miss?
As we were only staying for 1 night i could not be bothered to complain. If a hotel has a 3.5 star rating it should have decent rooms?
My experience has put me off using Bookit & this hotel."

"I stayed at this hotel by Sea World just 2 weeks ago-Week of Oct 15th. My room was very modern, clean and up to date with the decor. The beds were comfortable. The only thing that got to me was the little geico's that came under the doors and were around the outside of the room, but I would suggest for anyone to stay here. Had a great time. The staff were nice in handling our questions and the food prices werent so bad."

"'This was a very nice hotel. Very clean and updated. The only bad thing is their free shuttles to Universal Studios are very limited only a few times a day. Staff are very friendly. No bar fridge supplied in room, although when requested was supplied with one immediately. Staff are very helpful. Downfall not internet access in room unless you pay for it but can use the lobby or business centre, however not all computers were working and those that did, the internet was extremely slow."

"We got a great rate here for our long weekend trip to visit SeaWorld and Legoland Florida. The hotel location is ideal for trips to Seaworld - you can walk to the park in about 10 min from the hotel's back.
Hotels grounds are very nice, although the resort is very big and building are spread out. The room was nicely decorated and clean and you could tell it was updated recently.
There is a charge for overnight parking, but we knew that before we booked, so it wasn't unexpected. We did save money by not having to pay to park at SeaWorld.
Overall, we had a nice stay and would definitely book again if we were visiting SeaWorld."

"This was a very nice hotel. Very clean and updated. The only bad thing is their free shuttles to Universal Studios are very limited only a few times per day we were going to the horror nights and their latest shuttle back was at 6:30 so this did us no good. They also charge 10.00 a day for parking for hotel guests. Knowing this ahead of time would have been nice but i would defiantly recommend this hotel to a friend."

"Overall, not a bad place and nice value. Room was small and bathroom was tiny, but we really weren't at the hotel very much, so that was not a big issue. Staff was very friendly and the short walk to Sea World was great! It was also just a 5 min drive to Disney which was nice as well.
We were also very pleased that since we were traveling with a little one that they provided us with a crib in our room for free. Nice add on!"

"We were pleased with our accommodations. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The in room coffee was pretty good too. The main pool was lovely and there were plenty of towels available. The daily parking fee was a bit much we thought. I don't mind paying for parking if you opt for valet but to pay to self park seemed a bit out of line. All in all we had a great experience and thought we got decent value for our dollars spent. "

"We live only 20 miles from the resort but love to get away from it all and feel like tourists. Great location, near restaurants and shopping, beautiful pools, nice fitness room with updated equipment etc. What's not to like? We may not be far away but we feel a million miles away from home. "
