This Albert Anis designed jewel features arguably the best ocean views on Ocean Drive and undoubtedly the most dramatic lobby. Guests satisfaction is evidenced by the multitude of glowing guest reviews. When the Winter Haven Hotel opened in 1939 it was advertised as an "ultra modern" hotel with "large outside rooms," "a sky-top solarium," "spacious lobby and mezzanine," "large veranda overlooking the ocean". Now beautifully renovated in the style of 1939, the new Winter Haven Hotel awaits you.
The Winter Haven`s restoration focused on the hotel`s dramatic double-height lobby, winding staircase, original glass-ball railings and multi-level mezzanine. Decorative details such as the ornate Chinese mirrored panels, and the etched glass recessed wall panels were meticulously restored. Exact replicas were made of the original chandeliers, sconces, and maple and mirror registration desk. A new wood and glass bar curves along one wall. With all of the beautiful restoration and recreations, the Winter Haven Hotel adopted a Non-Smoking policy in September of 2007.
All guestrooms are decorated in custom designed Art Deco style furniture upholstered in soothing tones of burgundy, ginger, and cream. Warm yellow walls are accented with black and white photos of classic Miami Beach Deco hotels. Wooden Venetian blinds add to the airy, tropical feeling. The hotel is within walking distance of all the shops, cafes and clubs of South Beach. The downtown Miami business district, Coconut Grove, Coral Gables and Miami International Airport are all within a 15 to 20 minute drive. (Must be 21 years or older for hotel check-in) A daily amenity fee of $10.00 plus applicable taxes per room will be charged at check out. The following amenities included are Continental breakfast, beach chairs and towels, drink specials, local calls, domestic fax service, discount gym passes.
Please Note: Winter Haven Hotel is currently renovating it`s exterior with minimal guest impact. There will be renovations Monday through Friday until November 30, 2011. We apologize for any inconvenience.

"Very friendly staff (allowed us to checkin an hour early). Room was modern and very clean. Very nice shower. Location cant be beat. Awesome access to the beach. Bed was firm and comfortable. Walls a little thin allowing hall noise to carry through into the room. Late night partiers returning at 3am awoke us briefly. Not a big deal for us."

Great location, close to all the action but not in the middle of everything so u didnt get all the noise. Right across the street from the beach and close to all the clubs that we where able to walk to them. We had the best time! Deff would go back"
