"My wife and I are very picky travelers. This was our third trip to the South Beach area. We had previously stayed at such landmarks such as The Fountainbleau and Lowe's. The Trump International Beach Resort rivaled those hotels in luxury and service, but the atmosphere was more conducive to a relaxing beach vacation. There were plenty of restaurants in the area to explore and you are less than a 20 minute drive to Fort Lauderdale and a 10 minute drive to Bal Habour. I wouldn't think twice about staying here. It is a magnificent resort."

"I have always read reviews before we choose a hotel or places to go. There were a few negative about the trump which I can not imagine why because I have not one complaint of our trip to Miami. Everyone at the hotel were always more than nice. The staff at the pool was exceptional. Getting our towels always pleasant. The stafff were great. They were AMAZING the whole week and always made sure we were taken care of. The beds are comfortable.the rooms were clean. Housekeeping great. Front desk and concierge more than nice and everyone In the restaurants. Of course people complain about the resort fee and parking fee bug the resort fee is not bad at all and i wasn't happy about the parking but now that we are back it was great to pul up every night or leave and not worry about walking to the car or finding a parking spot. We visited south beach and i am so glad we stayed in sunny isles or id be unhappy. Close enough to do stuff but far enough away from all the craziness. We rented a car at Miami international through royal and it was great. I researched our trip on my own. I recommend bay side and everglades but absolutely NOT the Miami seaquarium. 40 a Person. 8 to park. Nothing was open and the food looked like it was there for weeks. Horrible. But anyhow, wed go back to this hotel in a heartbeat."

"We were 5 girls and stayed at the Trump International for 4 days. I can only say good things about this hotel. The service was AMAZING, anywhere you went in the hotel. Also, we didn't rent a car but we had no trouble to get a taxi-van and it wasn't too expensive. Their recommendations about where to go and where to eat helped us a lot. For 4 days, we felt like princesses ! We would definitely go back !!!"

"The hotel was beautiful. Rooms were great, staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We arrived around 1045am and check in was at 4pm, they were full and were able to get us in a room by 1pm. The pool and beach are awesome. Be mindful of extra charges. There's 18% gratutity already added in to any drinks or food you order and a resort fee for every night you stay around $20/night. We went across the street and bought snacks and saved our big meals for dinner. Not much of a night life but we went to Gulfstream which had a casino/shops/restaurants. Also a tiny italian restaurant called Aruzzo (or something like that) is about a block away through a neighboring hotel. AMAZING FOOD! Overall it was a great stay and I would definitely recommend it."

"Although the weather didnt cooperate with us except for 1 day. But, I cant say enough of the Trump. We went for my birthday & I loved the heated pools & heated whirlpools. 21.50 resort fee was fine because it included the beach chairs & umbrellas. Very clean. I went to the gym & was surprised...very clean. Will visit again. Not much to do in the evening but they have a great backery acroos the street with awesome coffee,pastries,sandwiches, very affordable. If you walk south their is a Columbian restuarant call 'maga chuz' very affordable & yummy."

"Top hotel, clean, beach front, great pools, hot tubs, service and amenities were excellent. Views were amazing. Free Shuttles daily to South Beach, Shopping ect. $2.00 Half hour bus ride to South Beach or Mall. Across from several good chain and specialty dinning, lots of fast food, or grocery store. Quiet and safe area.
Only set back was lots of loud, aggressive guests, the $20.00 resort fee and tipping every time you moved.
Overall 1000 times better than staying at south beach hotels.

"My boyfriend and I stayed at Trump International Beach Resort for a week. Everyone that worked at the hotel was extremely nice and helpful with whatever we needed. They cleaned the room daily and had a fold down service come at night and left a chocolate on our pillows:) The hotel was gorgeous and the service was phenomenal! We lounged at the pool every day and the pool attendants were on top of everything. one of the pool attendants, really took great care of us. Our vacation was very relaxing...just what we needed. We definitely plan on staying here again!! :)"

"We had an amazing time- the Hotel was beautiful. The weather was beuatiful- it was pretty far from where I usually stay- but Im glad I stuck with it- Amazing! I will be returning and this time with the family- they have things for the kids- the staff was friendly-the beach wait staff- Very slow- they only had one waiter-- that was crazy- but in the hour it took to bring my Burger- I could have left, went to my room- walked to cvs- and back- before it was ready-- valet was a bit slow and service was just ok-- they could have been much better- but I still had an excellent time."

"This resort was very clean. The resort workers were very friendly and attentive. We heard several languages spoken while there and felt as if we were on an international trip instead of Florida. "Beautiful hotel, clean and very friendly staff. Food/ Drinks are very pricey, we found that not many people ate in the hotel. However, the few meals we did have were very good. Pools were beautiful and so was the beach view, we went in late August so we ran into some bad weather which was unfortunate. We also found that there were only a few other guests in the hotel that were english speaking, which we found a little difficult."

"I just returned from my second stay at the Trump Miami. The first time I went was this past December and it was phenomenal. I had huge expectations this time around and I felt that they met, but did not exceed them.
Pros:
- Every single staff member is kind, helpful, and neatly dressed.
- Cleanliness. The hotel is spotless and smells wonderful.
- Comfy beds, nice room decor. I want that gold reptile print wallpaper!
- The ice water jugs by the pool and the complimentary popsicles and cool towels that come around. Such a nice touch, especially when the sun is hot.
- Nice location. There is a shopping center right across the street with tons of restaurants, a CVS, and a Publix.
- Water sports. I've always wanted to try stand up paddleboarding and I got to do it. It was $50/hour. Waverunners were $150 an hour, which I think is a lot of money.
Cons:
- Keep in mind that there is a $20 or $25 resort fee per person per day, all food and drinks are expensive, and you should tip the service staff. Be prepared to spend a good amount of money in addition to your actual room fee.
- I'd recommend going not in peak season. In December, since the rooms were not at all full, I was upgraded to oceanfront without even asking. I was hoping that since I was a repeat guest I could be upgraded again, but they would only do it for an additional $50/night. Overall, the hotel is busier in the summer so there are longer lines at the front desk and everywhere else.
- Your beach chair and umbrella is basically right on top of the person next to you because their beach space is limited.
- It would be nice if the lap pool was designated as adults only.
- It's pretty far from the MIA airport and the hotel doesn't have an airport shuttle. Take a taxi, it's more affordable than an airport shuttle.
- Food isn't that good. Nothing that I had to eat either for breakfast or lunch was spectacular. The breakfast buffet is a huge waste of money.
Given that I had such a great experience in December when tanning and swimming in the ocean wasn't an option, the Trump had a lot to live up to. I had a wonderful time, but honestly, I think that the sunny weather and warm ocean water had a lot more to do with it than the hotel itself. I'd like to go back during the off-peak season like April or October to see if there is any difference.

"As with any vacation, the worst part is the end. Having to leave Trump International and head home was the hardest. There isn't enough time or space for me to relate how good the stay was. My wife and I went down for the second year in a row (the first time we have EVER repeated) because our 2011 experience was so good. We went the last week of July-First week of August. It was hot but the staff, room, pool areas and everyone made our stay so wonderful that the heat didn't matter. T.I.B.R. is located in the center of Sunny Isle Beach which makes it convienient to get anywhere with ease. South Beach is a 20 minute drive and is a must experience.
The hotel is clean, the smell of eucalyptus fills the air as you walk in and you feel relaxed immedietly. The staff is what makes it top notch. The consierge is the BEST. He hooked my wife and I up on numerous excursions and was helpful at ever step. The front desk people were helpful and always doing whatever possible to make your stay enjoyable. The rooms were cleaned twice a day and our cleaning woman always had a smile and a kind word to say.
The beach is second to none. It is clean, the staff brings your lounge chairs out to the beach for you, gives you towels and stops back every hour or so to check to see if you need anything ( lunch on the beach, booze, cold water anything you need). the new Bella Beach is a bit pricey but if you require total spoiling, it is the place to be. There are rentals for jet skis, personal flotation barges, sailboats and surf boards on site.
The Trump brand is on the building however, don't expect to see him. He and his family are actually discouraged to come because the staff doesn't want the guests to be interupted with the media attention that would go along with it. The staff wants their guests to be able to relax and enjoy their stay.
Thumbs up to the staff for the efforts they make to make your stay the best it can be. Enjoy!!"

"Before I give my opinions I will let you know I travel alot for work and have had variable quality accomodations. I have experienced the best, to the wanna be 3 star, So i chose what I anticipated to be luxury for my vacatio. Then I stepped it up a bit just to experience Miami. Since I had never been to Miami I wanted to make it special.
I chose Trump Int'tl for my husbands 41 birthday. When we arrived we were upgraded to a king suite with a (non-working) Jaccuzzi. It was Bay view and very nice. What I especially loved was the space. It was huge. We were on the 23rd floor so our view was spectacular. I must say the elevator lobby was awesome as well with views that were picturesque.
The service was great and not too stuffy. We had housekeeping twice a day and our room always smelled like fresh ....something, I dont know what but it smelled great ,as did the entire resort. Whenever I called I had immediate responses and I was never dissatisfied. I will say my toilet was running and my husband just fixed it. Thats only because he is handy and awesomely humble.
Let me tell you about the outdoor area of the resort. LOVED IT!!
The pools were fun and full of families. I like that. If you dont this may not be the place for you. There were waterfalls and it was really nice with 2 pools and lots of chairs. The chairs have been upgraded since the pictures on their website too.
The beach was so beautiful and clean. The service was supreme and I actually fell asleep on the beach one day it was so relaxing (not my typical personality). They had an outside bar and a DJ two of the days we were there. It was the fourth of July so I suppose one day was because of the holiday.
I met lots of friendly outgoing people. It was very International for sure. I heard so many languages I thought I was out of the country. But I have no problem with that so it was all good.
All in all I would say I wanna live at that resort. It was very expensive though. So dont think you are just paying for your room. There are alot of extra fees and etc. I spent entirely too much money but it was sooo fun I dont regret it. Thats what a 5 star resort is like in Miami I suppose.

"Me and my wife loved our trip to miami. The Hotel was great, food was really good, service was excellent, but my only complaint would be at the end when i received my bill. The FREE valet parking isn't really free, they didn't tell us there was a 30$ per night charge and they also forgot to mention there was a 20$ a night hotel fee as well. I'm sure it was in the fine print on the last page but i wasn't happy when i saw those charges, but i didn't let that ruin the great time that i had there"

"We made reservation for Deluxe Room with Ocean View long in advance. When we arrived, I talked to the front desk clerk to make sure we are getting the room with the ocean view. But when we came up to our room, we were very dissappointed. In our window we could see a little bit of the ocean and a lot of the street. It was pretty much street view, not ocean. We went back to recetion and asked for another room. We were offered upgrade and asked to pay $60 per night in addition. Of course we refused to do so. Then they gave us the key for a real ocean view room on the 28th floor. It was nice. I just don't understand why they did not give us that room to begin with, but made us go back and forth. It was not nice first impression. Another weired things happened with housekeeping. One day we came to our room from the pool and could not find one pair of sleepers. Still not sure what happened to them. Had to call twice to replace them. One morning I went to the shower and realzed that there is no shampoo; instead there were 3 bottles of shower gel. Next day happened the same thing. I called customer service twice. He said he will send shampoo upstairs. I told him, that I need it now, that I'm actually in the shower waiting. He said No problem. But I had to call again in 30 minutes, spoke to another clerk, who finally sent me shampoo. The same person promissed to send me sleepers to the room and never did. These small things are very irritating. You don't expect that it could happen here."

"II don't know what all the hype is about this Hotel but my first impression when I got there was it's ok. Once I got to my room I was disgusted to see the closet door broken, over flowed sink and loud horrible noise when you flush the toilet. I contacted the front desk and requested another room and was given full ocean view on the 29Th floor. Much better than the first room. They need to inspect their rooms before booking..... customers don't need the hassle. We plan vacations to get away from interference. I don't like to give bad reviews but somethings are meant to be mentioned. The $30 parking per night and $15 per day resort fee is outrageous and the omelets they made was Horrible. I'm not a chef and make much better omelets which cost less than $15.00. My overall experience was OK but will not go back due to other High end hotels in the area."

"The resort was more than I expected. I'm going to book there again to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. This is a very relaxing vacation place. If your looking for a South Beach party scene, this resort is about 30 min away. Heated pools with bar side accommodations. The rooms were clean and the view was breathtaking. An excellent sleep and in the morning, breakfast on the balcony. Outside of the resort, there's plenty of shopping and restaurants. The staff is very informative, assisting with the planning of local activities. The only issue I had was packing and leaving realizing the luxury was only temporary."

"This hotel was fabulous! The staff were so friendly and didn't miss a beat when it came to making our stay exceptional! Our room was very nice (standard deluxe suite) with an ocean view as well as a city view (private balcony). The grounds are beautiful and it is located on a fantastic beach! It is located within walking distance of so many restaurants and things to do and they have a shutle to take you to the mall. We're glad we didn't rent a car, although we played golf twice and had to take a cab to the course. We will definitely plan to stay there again in the future!"

"The resort exceeded our expectations. Although it was undergoing some lobby renovations, everything was excellent. The parking was pricey at $28 per day and there is a $15 per day resort fee that we were not expecting. Our queen room was not available so they upgraded us to a one bedroom suite which was great. It is right on the beach and about 30 minutes North of South Beach."

"This hotel is great for family's and couples, or single travelers who are not going to Miami solely to party on Ocean drive. It has a fantastic pool onlooking a lovely beach. A very nice resort feel much like an all inclusive. Naturally you have to pay for every drink or meal, but that is expected in Miami. (Don't go to Miami if you don't like to spend money.)
The staff was excellent! Pleasant, helpful, well trained and never ever a bad attitude, 5 stars for great service, I truly hope they are compensated fairly by their management.
I didn't mind the location. Close to shopping malls and a pharmacy and grocery store near-by should you need it. The free shuttle takes you right into SoBe and It will pick you up or you can cab it back at your own convenience for around $35. Also, there is a city bus right outside the hotel door that takes you any where you pretty much need to go.
Hotel was spotless, beds comfy and fluffy, rooms were nice, not 5 star nice but clean and updated. There was no dock to play music on, would've been nice, but not a deal breaker. Try for an ocean-view room it's worth the extra money.
Definitely would stay here again if I was going solo, or with friends/family who don't party too much. Great stay!"

"I must say, this hotel is gorgeous, top of the line all the way. The room was big, modern and clean. For me, the only downside was the location. I didn't realize the hotel was so far from Miami beach. The hotel does supply a 'free' shuttle to South Beach and back, but some times the hours are not too convenient. A cab ride will cost about $50. We ended up renting a car and saving money on the long run. If you don't care about visiting South Beach much or have a car, this Hotel is perfect, it's situated right next to the beach and has pools, gym and restaurant."

"This was a short weekend trip for me, so I didn't take advantage of many of the amenities. Since it was my birthday, they gave me a complimentary upgrade to an ocean view room. It was absolutely beautiful, clean and spacious - not to mention the breathtaking view. The staff at the hotel are awesome! They were professional, friendly and very accommodating. I was so surprised that several of them made an effort to remember my name. It sounds like a minor detail, but that shows how much they value customer service. "The best part of the trip was the service the staff provided. It was great with one or two exceptions. The view and location were also great because it is directly on the beach, but if you are seeking the Miami night life it is a good 30-45 minute drive from South Beach (hotel is located on Collins at about 186th street vice the heart of South Beach located near 7th street). I loved the shuttle service although it had limited hours it saved me the added expense of some cab rides. Hated the beds, the springs were bad for my back. The Spa left a lot to be desired, especially for a 4 star hotel however the Spa services were good. I did not like the unisex waiting area for the Spa. I was also really bummed that in an age of technology there was an expensive daily/weekly/monthly rate for internet connectivity but while sitting on the beach I was able to locate free services. The rate I secured from BookIt made the stay worth it because it was a good 40% less than other travel services. If I had paid a higher rate, I would have been very disappointed with Trump International Beach Resort in Miami."
