"how can i describe my experience! upon arrival the front desk was so rude. they made us feel lucky just to have a room. they had overbooked the rooms. even though i had had these reservations for months and had called and told them we were an older couple and would like a quite room with a view, we got a room on the street right, above the bar, with booming music all night long and drag racing on the street below us. we barely slept our entire stay!!!"

"The hotel was clean and entire staff was extremely friendly for our entire stay. When we needed directions or to find a place to eat, the staff assisted. Drink prices very high, 65 dollars cocktail pitchers. 10 dollars for a can of beer. Rooftop pool pretty amazing but water was not heated so very little swimming. The room was hudge and kept cleaned daily. Great location as in walking distance to South Beach and Mile Mall. Airport Flyer Bus drops off and picks up right in front of hotel. Saved over 60 dollars by using bus instead of taxi. The only negatives would be directed at Bookit.com. We were told that we had free access to all clubs at the hotel, NOT true. We were told we did not have to pay gym access fee, 15 dollars, NOT true. Finally, when we booked our flight, changed the departure time, but the change did NOT come through, the change time was for the same price. Got NO help from the Bookit person on the phone. So for those reasons, not sure if I will trust Bookit again to place our travel plans."

Posted: Mon, Nov 07, 2011"Our trip was great and the hotel was awesome. We had a few problems but the staff worked very quickly to correct it. One thing i was upset with was our balcony had been closed by the fire department for some safety reason so we asked for a room that we could use the balcony and were told it would be $50. We had a fire alarm while we were there and the 3rd day the phones went out so no room service available and to get ice you had to call room service. My only suggestions is takes lots of money for food and drink specially at the hotel. We had one meal which was a steak sandwich, turkey croissant, and 3 tacos and 3 pops bill was $94 and they add 20% automatically to your bill. Loved the hotel staff and the room was awesome. Just takes lots of cash cause everything is expensive in Miami!!!"
