"I have never stayed in a hotel this disgusting in my life. It should really be shut down or torn down. Dirty, smelly, the sheets were hidious and the walls and doors were just dirty. The tub was stained black. Our view was an alley with barred windows with a garbage dumpster right underneath the window. People dumped bottles and garbage all through the night from the hotel next door. The window air conditioner was old and rattle and hummed all night long. My 13 year old daughter was very upset at the conditions. She now feels that she does not want to visit Miami anymore. I love Miami, just made a poor choice of hotel. But the pictures on this site and of their site are false advertising. I watched people check in and would come back to the desk complaining. One lady refused to stay and left rolling her suitcase down the street. No refund or anything."

"Claremont Hotel is by far the worse place I have ever been in my entire life. I was shocked with the hotel condition when we arrived, let start with the bathroom, The tub had stains all over the place with sewer backup inside the tub, YES SEWER BACK UP! disgusting. The rooms were completely outdated and dirty, walls where dirty and bed spreads had holes in them. To make this worse when we where leaving the receptionist almost tackled me because I was leaving with out doing the check out, I told the man I only putting backs inside car. Wow Claremont Hotel in Miami the worse ever."

"This was the worst hotel i have EVER stayed in. We booked two rooms & one was on the first floor & the other on the 2nd. The 2nd floor room was cramped & at the front of the hotel so we could hear all of the Collins Ave traffic deep into the morning. We got our room switched and was put in a room that smelled like cat urine. The ac spit out water & made loud noises. There were spiders everywhere, i found a roach in the bathroom, the buttons on the elevator were upside down, the stairway was full of maintenance equipment. They were painting the first floor so every morning my friends sleep would be disrupted by the noise. Each room looks totally different. One room we had did not have curtains. Front desk attendants were rude and one even rudely told me that since we kept coming to complain we were more than welcome to leave. I would have been a financial stressor as well as an inconvenience to move 5 girls & their luggage to another hotel. The hotel is not worth the money! Also, none of the housekeeping speaks english. Thankfully my dominican friend was along and helped communicate."

IT SHOULD BE TORN DOWN OR CLOSED BY THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT. I BELIEVE I SAW BEDBUGS. I REALLY HOPE NOT. THE WALLS AND DOORS INSIDE AND OUT WERE DIRTY AND MOLDEY. THE BATHROOM TUB WAS STAINED BLACK. OUR SHEETS WERE WHITE BUT THE MATTRESS WAS DUSTY. THE ROOM REEKED OF SMELLS AND DIRTY STAIL CARPETING. OUR VIEW WAS AN ALLEY WITH BARS ON THE WINDOWS AND A GRABAGE DUMPSTER RIGHT UNDER NEATH THE WINDOWS. PEOPLE WOULD THROW GARBAGE AND BOTTLES IN IT THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT. STAFF WAS FRIENDLY BECAUSE THEY HAD TO BE. I SAW PEOPLE GO TO THERE ROOMS AND COME RIGHT BACK DOWNSTAIRS COMPLAINING OR JUST LEAVING. THE CONDTIONS WERE DIPLORABLE. CLOSE THIS HOTEL."

"The only good thing I can say about the Hotel is the location. Very poor value place needs to be a lot cheaper or wait until a major Reno has been done. After booking in and going to our room I felt oh no can't stay in this room so we asked to be moved and was shown three other rooms all in need of a lot of care but better than the one we had. We are in the Ramada in Naples now and was so pleasantly surprised at the lovely place they have here, both Hotels are the same price but the difference is unbelievable.
I would strongly surgest you remove the photo's the rooms do not look clean like these.

"this place although the reception area very smart is a dump,, the full price charged is a joke , even getting a discount we paid to much on of the staff sold us a miami city tour took $120 dollars off our group four people , as the deposit gave us the wrong information to jointhe tour, guess what we missed the tour , and we cant even get our money back there is no fitness facility or complimentary coffee
