Pictures are accurate. We booked on Hotel.com. $106 each night for 2 nights. Excellent value. The front lobby is small, reception is a little overwhelmed, and the hotel is configured a little oddly. There are 3 separate buildings in a row that make up the hotel. In each case you have to walk through a restaurant or a bar to get to your room, but everyone is very friendly. There are 2 pools with plenty of lounge chairs and lounge beds - one in a bamboo garden and one on a roof top. The beach is a... Read more

The hotel was located in a perfect location. It's was a block away from the beach. We had access to the best spots in town all by a walking distance or a $5 uber ride. The hotel was clean and the room was flawless. There's nothing really to complain about the room. Nonetheless, I stayed at the 3rd floor and I could hear the music from the Rooftop pool at 9am. Also the walls are thin and you can hear people in other rooms, especially if they're being extra loud. If you are a morning person... Read more

1st room was for disabled persons, all amenities were approx. 4ft from ground, I am 5 ft 11 ins,m y husband 6 ft 2 in, 2nd room was 1 floor above restaurant, live music exceptionally loud, my husband eventually went to reception around 3.30am to ask that it be tuned down a bit, also the next floor up was being re decorated and they were in working at night laying laminate flooring, the noise from that was also terrible. When we checked out, the reception asked for another $300 US dollars for par... Read more

I am 18 yrs old and stayed here with my friend. It was walking distance to the beach, shops, and restaurants. The area felt safe with easy access to transportation. The staff cared for whatever we needed. Only think I wish was that there was not a $100 security deposit which I don't think is necessary.

Catalina Hotel & Beach Club is a great hotel. The living large rooms are definitively the best rooms. The hotel is well situated in Miami Beach and has many restaurants. Also the New Years Eve was a great event.

The hotel and Lobby isn't bad and the location is very good for Miami Beach. The room was well appointed and clean. However the downsides to this hotel is he elevator is extremely tight and has a max capacity of 2 people or 500 lbs which is just scary. The floors in the hallways are uneven. That is not difficult to remedy. The bathroom is bad for stupid reasons. They only provide 1 large towel, 1 hand towel and 1 wash cloth. This is insane considering most rooms are double occupancy. At the ver... Read more

I went on a girls trip with some friends and needed a hotel not too far from all the activities. This hotel fit the perfect location, its small, quaint and it was attached to two restaurants that the hotel also owns and two pools (one in door and one roof top). If your looking for a hotel with a perfect view this is not the place for you but if your looking selfie somewhere to lay your head down while turning up in Miami then you have reached your location. The ambience has an old school Miami v... Read more

The hotel is great.. the location is great.. the price was great.. the staff is nice.. the ONLY thing that they do not do is CLEAN YOUR ROOM in a timely manner or bring you ice when you need it.. but otherwise I'd stay there again.. Oh yeah and the A/Cs are EXTREMELY LOUD and the TVs do not get all the channels.
