Jo and Juan welcomed us with a warm smile and were very helpful even with it being a late check in. The location of this hotel is perfect because it's away from the busy streets of south beach, but just a short drive to all of the excitement. I definitely recommend staying here!!

Had a late check in with Jo and Juan. After a long day it was pleasing to be greeted and taken care of by them. I recommend the Riviera. It's very clean and modern. Conveniently located right off Collins Ave and walking distance to the beach. Book it!

This is the best hotel ever. The staff has awesome customer service Emmanuel and Mark greeted me as soon as I walked through the door and immediately helped with our bags. We had transferred from a different hotel with poor customer but when I met Emmie at front desk she went above and beyond to make my experience a great one. These three worker Emmanuel, Mark , and Emmie went out there way to make my experience great and I will be forever grateful. Great hotel will always stay here when am in ... Read more

I've lived in Miami Beach and have also stayed in many hotels in SoBe and I have to say this is the best hotel I've ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived to check in, we were welcomed with friendly faces and warm smiles. I was upgraded to a suite across from the main building and it was beautiful! The room was very clean and the amenities provided to guest were impressive. I loved that I was able to get to the busy areas of south beach, but also return to the tranquility of the hotel in a m... I love this hotel, check in was quick and the 2 receptionist were always nice. They even gave us a 12 oclock check out. We didn't eat at the restaurant and only had the happy hr drinks 1 night, the free airport shuttle both a nice plus. The valet is a lil expensive $40 24hrs. The rooms are very nice and modern. Rooftop pool was fantastic with plenty lounge chairs. The only real complaints is you have to go to the main floor and the back of the restaraunt for ice, that's insane. The sink is a Li... Read more

The hotel has the same style, art deco, as its neighborhood. It has also a friendly staff, which can attract unwary guests. The room is decorated exclusively to be seen. No functional space is provided and the guest comfort is not priority. Examples of this are: no space available in the mini (mini!) refrigerator (see photo), the space is just for products to be purchase. There is no coffee machine or luggage support. Catalogues, magazines, warning messages or useless objects, occupy all the spa... Read more

This Hotel was perfect for me and my girls nice and cozy for a birthday get away. Pros: Very Clean, Wonderful Decor, Close to the rest of South Beach and only cost about 2-5 to uber to resturants and other place. Nice roof top pool. The Cuban restaurant in the hotel was delicious. Hotel staff was knowledgeable about parties and places to go. Cons: The room was very dark( not alot of lighting in the bedroom), made it hard to get dressed to go out at night, Before arriving i had a unpleasant ... Read more

Unknowingly we visited this hotel on the most hectic weekend (Memorial Day weekend). The hotel is located on20th st, at the northern border of the Art Deco district, within walking distance to the district's main attractions and 5 minutes from the beach. Our suites was large, very well equipped, and lots of amenities. The hotel decor is a bit strange - too dark to my opinion. Using the hotel's valet service is quite costly (40$/day), however it is necessary in this area. Hotel's staff wer... Read more

Be carefuell and count candies and red bulls and drinks in the cooler, because someone is stealing those while you are out or while cleaning.I have to say I called management 3-4 times and noone ever calls back, never, ever.I do not drink red bull and don't eat some of the stuff they display and told them what we did eat, but noone cares. They stole just over $20 from us and they don't care to call back, just to say whatever if nothing else.Is $20 really worth it??? So my advice is don't go there... Read more

My flight had been delayed and cancelled and every hotel around the airport was booked as it was Saturday night. We called Riviera hotel and they held a room for us until we could get to them. Service is above and beyond, location is awesome, it was clean and well kept. We took an Uber and it was only 17 whereas some taxis would charge 30. I would recommend this hotel to anyone based on their service alone. Ps there are people complaining about parking but that's what public transportation is fo... Read more

Awesome hotel! Arrived really early in the morning. Was not even check in time (usually at 3pm) and Santiago Arias at the check in counter was extremely accommodating, friendly & inviting. Loved the location. Had the suite and it was very nice. Had an amazing time while staying here. Thank you Santiago! Will be back soon.

The hotel is beautiful however from the valet staff to the front desk and everyone in between; they are unprofessional, rude, snobby and the interactions were poor. We were displaced from our original room that we paid for because the people in the next room were smoking weed and the smell filled our room. The smell was so bad that it gave me and my family a headache and covered our clothing. We asked for another room and they gave us a smaller room with less amentities in an area of the hote... It was a slow weekend in South Beach so I got upgraded to the Penthouse Suite B which was amazing! It was bigger than some apartments I've lived in. It had a huge walk in shower, a separate kitchen with a Keurig coffee maker, and (the best part) an enormous, furnished outdoor patio which was almost as big as the room itself! The staff were all very helpful and friendly. I will definitely stay here again.

The hotel is clean and modern and the reception staff are friendly. Although, the room we had was tiny with only 1 wardrobe which was filled with the safe and mini bar so there was literally nowhere to put out clothes during our stay. The valet parking is very expensive and the valet staff are slow and lazy (we unloaded the car ourselves and fetched our own luggage trolley without any offer of assistance. lack of space was at times difficult especially when wanting to unpack or get ready in the mornings or evenings.. Bathroom ridiculously small, hard to close the TRANSPARENT door so very little privacy. Shower tricky to get hot water. Sink was not in the bathroom which was a pain. Roof top pool was nice and the shuttle bus is a nice plus. Having mammals restaurant was very convenient especially when one did not want to venture to far.

It's not a cute little boutique hotel in your imagination or in pictures you saw online. It's actually a cheap crappy motel on a narrow busy street! Low rise building only 5 floors. No space. Cramped. This motel is on contraction sites and loading trucks / machines make loud noise whole night. I can not open window because it's facing other people's crappy backyard and AC is so loud. A trendy boutique hotel. The rooms were spacious with nice decor. Nice location, only 1.5 blocks from the beach and many restaurants near by. There is a convince store right next door. Most of the staff was pleasant. The staff was what you would expect at a 3 star hotel. Nothing to spectacular. We went to the beach 3 days in a row and in our last day they informed us we got free chair rentals at the beach (we paid $45 the last 2 days). AVOID! First let me tell you the good things. The hotel was very near the beach, stylishly appointed, clean, and with a comfortable bed. Sadly, what could have been a nice visit was overshadowed by poor customer service practices, and questionable advertising. The free shuttle advertised only runs from the airport every two hours and stops completely at 9 pm. Since we reached the curb at 9:15 pm we had to pay for a cab. Secondly, there was a problem with our reservation, which management wa... Read more
