I always have a Great stay when I do get the chance to leave on a cruise. But this stay was above all the best due to the two young ladies at the front desk Elana and Mercedes that checked me in. I must say that they are both a keeper and they seem to go out of there ways for the guests. Thank you for making my granddaughter and my stay the best ever..!! đ???

Absolutely disgusting. They could put a picture of this place in wiki next the the definition of dive.Looked like last renovation 50+ years ago. Odd smells throughout the place. Elevators smelled so bad and are so slow everyone takes the stairs. AC units drip water onto the ground which then drips onto the heads of unsuspecting passersby on the levels below. Restaurant is very slow and the food was as bland as an old folks home. We only used this hotel between flights in the area and it sa... Read more

Checked in the hotel the day before catching a flight. no towels in the room... took over an hour to get any. they said the were "washing" them. When I asked for towels, the Manager on duty was very rude and it looked as if it was an annoyance for him to have one of his people get me 1 towel. I went to eat and came back to a HOT room. the AC had gone on the blink. I asked to be moved to another room which they did.... it also had no AC. soooooo the rest of the night was spent in a hotel ro... Read more

This place gets a 4 rather than a 3 due to location and services. We flew into FL for a cruise. But we came in a week early. By using this hotel we were able to drop our rental car at Miami, get a shuttle to the hotel and then use the hotel's shuttle to the cruise port the next day. All complimentary. Our room was clean (paramount importance). It is older though and it showed in some areas. Some fixtures are tarnishing & chipping but everythey worked. The AC unit worked but was technical... Hotel shuttle was very convenient , they picked a up from the airport and drop us off next morning at the cruise port. We had 2 rooms and both were very clean. The staff was attentive and polite. Breakfast was very good, variety of food but litter too crowded . Great place to stay when cruising .

We flew into Miami, took the shuttle to this hotel. Luckily we were first out of the van to check in so we didn't have to wait in a long line. We immediately made our reservation for the shuttle to the cruise ship port for the following day. The room was a little worn but clean. The building is amazingly well insulated so the noise of the airplane traffic did not bother us at all. The breakfast offered an ample selection, but was a little crowded with other guests. I would stay here again ... Read more

Super neat place! Surprisingly elegant rooms and great staff. Well located, bigger than it looks (there's a second building behind the visible one), pool available, patrolled by state trooper, closed parking lot.

Pretty much what has been stated many times. Good, affordable option close to MIA with a free and reliable airport shuttle. Pick up for all shuttles is level 2, just flag down to Red Roof bus. All staff during my overnight stay were very helpful and courteous. Yes, the elevator is old, but it works just fine. There is a bus for $10 that goes to the Dolphin Mall. It was an adventure but be aware that it stops at pretty much every hotel on the way. A ten minute drive turned into an 80 minute tour ... Read more

I was a little concerned after reading the reviews. We found this hotel to be perfectly satisfactory. The rooms were fine, and we really couldn't hear the airplanes flying directly overhead. Adequate breakfast, and fast service to and from the hotel to catch our flight for Ecuador. Would definitely stay here again when flying out!

This hotel was great for what we needed. One night before our cruise. Breakfast was good, room was clean, pool was beautiful. YOU ALWAYS GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. You can't be disappointed that this hotel doesn't compare to a 5 star resort because it's not. For the price we had a great stay! Also free shuttle to airport and cruise port.

Room was adequate and clean. Complimentary breakfast was ok. Parking was a great deal: we stayed one night and received 10 days of complimentary parking (and paid $7 for the 11th night of parking). Property is right next to Miami airport and free shuttles run every half hour.

Large motel near the airport. It is ok for the one night. Room was a bit renovated and good to sleep. Wifi works so so. I was rather disappointed to airport shuttle. You are supposed to wave in the inner circle of departure level and stop the shuttle bus. In the dark it was challenging and bus comes back every 30 minutes. I called to the hotel but they do not take any reservations for the shuttle bus. They have swimming pool and that seemed to be popular among families. Driver of the bus was ... Read more

We stayed at this hotel for a night before boarding our cruise the following day. Rooms were not bad, spacious and clean, but the shuttle service was quite slow picking us up from the airport. I guess can't complain as it was a complimentary service. The same shuttle also drove us to the cruise port. The hotel manager was very nice as we had an issue and he helped us resolve it with ease. This place is really low on the budget hotel chain list. This location is awful, nowhere to walk to, smells, kind of clean. We stayed 1 night before our cruise and that was too long. Spend the extra $100 and stay at the Embassy Suites next door. There are signs posted everywhere that you will be charged $200 if you smoke in the room. Our room smelled like smoke, so we called the front desk. They sent a maid to spray air freshener and splash chemicals on the floor. Thanks for the lung cancer!!!!

We stayed at the Red Roof Inn Plus for one night before our cruise. The hotel was nothing fancy, but the room was clean, water pressure in the shower was good, and the parking was inexpensive ($7 per day during our cruise with a free shuttle to the cruise port). We did have to chase down extra towels and our room somehow had the hairdryer removed and the only way to get one was to change rooms, but that wasn't a huge deal. Our biggest complaint was the breakfast. Cereal, toast, and pancakes. Ver... Read more

The gate to the parking area where your car stays is broken and hasn't been fixed in well over a year. The worst part for me was getting back from the airport after a long trip. We called when we got in and were told to just wait near the departure area and the shuttle would come by. We waited an hour! We watched other hotel shuttles come by twice before we ever saw our shuttle. Then the driver told us he was full! We ended up taking a $15 cab ride. Then when I went in to tell the front d... So we stayed over here as we had an early flight out of Miami the next morning. Only $15 and 5 mins in a cab from the airport so was perfect. Plus a shuttle in the morning meant no taxi fare the other way. I mean don't expect palatial luxury for goodness sake but for the money it was fine. The room was a good size and had all you'd expect.

Worst experience ever. The Front Desk staff is the rudest, most uneducated, no sense of professionalism nor respect. Rooms smell horrible, outdated dirty hallways, and always late and limited hours shuttle with not very friendly drivers. Breakfast, really? That is a very bad joke. Old bread, all cold and old items in a very limited space. Parking is another ordeal. The only ok thing about this "place" is that it is very close to the airport. When I booked this hotel, I booked under a tab on their website entitled 'PARK, SLEEP & FLY' at a very good rate. I also spoke with a representative who also gave me a very good price - he also indicated that I could have a "SUPERIOR KING" at that low price. I asked him if parking for 10 days would be covered under that price and he responded positively. Upon arrival, I parked, went inside to confirm my reservation and catch the complimentary shuttle to the airport. I asked if I should fill ... Read more

I've stayed at this hotel a few nights ago with my parents so they can catch their SUPER EARLY flight. The price wasnt bad...we got their at 9:00PM, didnt do much because their flight left at 4:00 am the next day. But for what i payed i think its worth it for only one night if possible. Its not a 3 or 4 star hotel by any means but it beats the other crappy motels that are just south of it. I would recommend this place for only and i mean only one night.

There are a few things I automatically expect from a hotel of any standard (motels included) and or rating (like 1 to 5 star). 1. My room to be ready after its been reserved and paid for months in advance. *It was a room for four and there was only three towels, no cups, un cleaned shower wall (just not washed out from previous guest.) There were no rags at all. We asked several times for rags but was told we couldn't receive them until atfer 9pm due to complications. This was around 7pm and st... Read more

I stayed at the hotel for a weekend. The ladies at the front desk were very polite. The wifi is fast and reliable. Breakfast is a major disappointment, a hoard of rude people, a real hootenanny of bad manners. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. Although you are at the end of the runway, airport noise is not a problem at all. For the price paid (over $100.00) a complete ripoff.

After talking with people that cruise out of Port of Miami this hotel was recommended by several people. They offer a package where you can stay at the hotel and then leave your car parked there while you cruise. So I booked there. Staff was very freindly. Hotel was clean. Cars were parked in a "fenced" lot. While we had NO problems the area could have felt a bit safer but the lot was well lit, and I felt like my car would be "safe" there for the duration of our cruise. We were however qu... Read more

The front desk staff are pleasant enough but I struggle to find anything positive to say about this place except that it is close to the airport. The hotel is old and run down. The rooms smell like a cheap motel and the elevator felt like if I was seconds away from death. Not recommended unless you urgently need a cheap spot for a night.

This airport was only 1 mile from the airport, we arrived the day before our departure , then enjoyed a evening at South Beach ( about 20 minutes away) before we flew out. The room was clean, the staff was friendly. We left our car there for a week and felt no worries about doing so as their parking lot is gated. For the price it definitely served it's purpose.

I have no comments besides excellent service, staff, pool, continental breakfast good. Just dont rent a car from USave car rentals Miami on NW 27th street, Miami. You will waste time, pay extra hidden franchise fees . They don't answer the phone, long waits to pick up and release car to you, you lose time. They don't guarantee the car rental either. Should have just went to Red roof hotel and use their shuttle, but we needed a car the days there.

When I had got to the hotel the entrance was clean and the guest service agent quickly helped me get checked in. After getting checked into the hotel, I had to walk to another building that was apart of the hotel except it has all of the rooms. In between the two buildings there is a nice medium/big size pool that is always packed with guests. This was an overnite stay in order to go on a cruise. The hotel was great and the fact that there was a continental breakfast was good as we were able to have something light in order to get going as soon as possible in the morning. It's just one night- how bad could it be? Pretty bad. The customer service at the front desk is good- the employees are super helpful and nice. But the rooms- I'm scared to take off my shoes. Booked for a Friday night with a cruise on Saturday, but Hurricane Matthew made us get in a day early (Thursday). The front desk was great, even with systems down. The GM, John was there all night, making sure guests had water, snacks and up to date information. It was a full house and in the morning able to accommodate everyone for breakfast. The hotel was at a affordable price, we were on a budget so when we found Red Roof we were pretty excited! Also, it's near an airport so I was worried I wouldn't be able to sleep because of the sound, but I didn't hear anything! At night its cool to see the airplanes fly...nice view. The breakfast was incredible, defiantly wouldn't mind coming to this hotel again!
