I stayed at this location for 2 nights during an event that was going on and was part of a reserved room block. The facility itself was kept pretty clean so no complaints there. My issue is after I checked out there were charges to my CC for a parked car which I did not have. On top of it, I was also a charge for a mini bar item which I already paid for upon check out with cash. I called the Raleigh and emailed them several times in regards to the discrepancies. It is now going on almost three w... Read more

We traveled 300 miles to visit The Raleigh as a strong possibility as a reception site for a December 2016 wedding. To say that the staff was , inattentive would be an understatement. After many attempts at contacting Corrina by telephone and email several days prior to our arrival, and receiving no reply, we were left to look around the facility by ourselves. The front desk was not helpful and made a desultory attempt to reach Corrina when we arrived. The only staff that was attentive was the w... Read more

I stayed in September so review may be somewhat out of date, although I think most aspects should ring true. Let's be clear from the off, The Raleigh is an absolutely beautiful hotel in a fantastic location and we were made to feel thoroughly welcome by the staff. The only slight draw backs were some of the costs ($15 for a bottle of Evian) and the standard room was somewhat on the small side - although it was lovely. The hotel itself is beautiful and offers real Art Deco character, breakfasts ... Read more

Our last stay at the Raleigh was the best. The hotel was, as usual, perfect. Room is always clean, the pool is the best in South Beach. I couldn't ask for better service from Fernando the concierge and his team , who attended to every requirement we had during our long weekend (he was super helpful in assisting us with a birthday celebration and gave us excellent references for dinners and spots around the city). Thank you so much for another perfect vacation and we hope to see you again nex... Read more

Hotel staff all great and super friendly, especially the pool bar team - felt like a family hotel. Only downside would be small quite dated rooms and corridors, and a kettle/coffee facilities in room would be good, also toiletries felt a bit cheap but loved the lobby decor and coffee shop and everything else. Thank you!

The staff at the hotel were impeccable from the moment we arrived and had baggage sorted, front desk, pool & restaurant. Our room was Oceanfront and looked over the most spectacular pool which is just as delicious to swim in as it is to look at. Rooms are fairly basic with cane corner sofa, boxed bed base, no coffee/tea making facilities, small bathroom but all was clean and comfortable. We stayed sadly only one night at The Raleigh hotel, it's a beautiful Art Deco hotel from the 1940's. The staff are fabulous, our room was very comfortable with a gorgeous bathroom! We had breakfast by the pool, which was just lovely, the service was great as was the food! There was even an iguana wandering around near the pool, I think he wanted his breakfast too! Overall, The Raleigh is the perfect hotel to stay in Miami, I definitely stay there next time I'm in Miami.

Hotel staffers (Elkin, Alexandra and Fernando) were super friendly and helpful. Was given a very early check-in, with a room upgrade no less. The room was clean, with a really comfortable bed. Noise not a problem. Great overall location, including close to the beach. The pool is fantastic, easy to spend lots of time there. The restaurant served an excellent/outstanding memorable dinner. We visited The Raleigh for a few days and loved every minute. The Art Deco aesthetic and beautiful pool, create an old world vibe that makes this hotel feel special in the midst of party-central South Beach. But what really sets this hotel apart is the staff - everyone from the front desk clerk to the pool bartender to the beach staff were friendly, professional, and helpful! And, I would be remiss if I did not mention the fabulous oatmeal brûlée at breakfast! Amazing! We will return!

Passed by this hotel many times over the years and finally decided to try it out. A classic art deco hotel, with an amazing pool, martini bar coffee bar, and wonderful staff. Doesn't have the huge amount of amenities like major hotel chains, but is perfect for enjoying a relaxing time at the pool. Aesthetically, the Raleigh is hard to fault. The lobby is beautifully maintained and appointed, and the pool and surrounding areas are spectacular. Our room was stylish, though not particularly large. Service was generally excellent. Loved our stay at The Raleigh. From the moment we booked our stay to check-out time and all stages in between, we received excellent and friendly service. Our suite was spacious with a beautiful view. Having such close proximity to the beach was nice, but we enjoyed the pool experience even more. Very nice waitstaff at the hotel bars and it was nice to be able to use the hotel bikes. We would definitely choose The Raleigh the next time we are lucky enough to visit Miami Beach.

I recently stayed at The Raleigh with my two daughters (9 and 12) and we had such a great time at this ultra-cool, Art Deco hotel. The room was huge, including an enormous shower with two rain heads. The staff was very friendly, attentive and lightening quick with our requests. Fernando was especially warm and inviting and provided great suggestions for restaurants, shopping etc. He made sure our room was equipped with everything we needed and checked in with us regularly to see if he could help... This hotel has always been one of our favorites. Classic, low key, hip. Not a scene. The pool area is in dire need of maintenance. Bottom paint for the pool and lounge chairs. Will definitely look to stay here again but will check on the condition of the pool before booking.

A wonderful place to enjoy South Beach. Clean, friendly and affordable. The Raleigh has a great pool and access directly to the beach. It is centrally located and we were able to get everywhere we wanted to go quickly. We will defiantly be back, thanks for a great visit Raleigh!

The rooms are not well equipped (limited electric outlets, no coffee makers, no bath exhaust fans, mediocre TV). But the quality of the staff (everyone) is outstanding. From concierge, desk clerk, chefs, wait staff, everyone was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Beautiful restaurant, and pool and yard, very good food, Expensive parking.

It's amazing, becauses it looks like a very old hotel (actually it is), but it is in perfect conditions. Using the elevators, the shower or the lobby pone is an experience. The breakfast is great. My wife and I ordered different egg-based dishes, and both were great. The hotel connects with the beach, so it's grate to see the sunrise, and then have a great breakfast.

Well needless to say this place is great. We arrived after a 12 hour day of travel from Curcao, in which our flight was delayed 3 times. When we arrived we met Fernando at the front desk. He was so warm and friendly. We told him we were on the end of our Honeymoon and had an awful day, and he took care of us by upgrading our room, and sent us champagne to celebrate our Honeymoon. After getting settled in we explored the hotel, and it was simply enchanting. It has a lot of room, and places to dis... Read more

My husband and I went to the Raleigh for part of our honeymoon and we can not stop talking about how amazing our stay there was. First of all, when we arrived we were greeted by courteous staff who opened the door for us, and took our bags and then Fernando at the front desk sent a (nice) bottle of champagne with a thoughtful handwritten note to us in our room- which by the way- was upgraded to a pool view room when he found out it was our honeymoon. The hotel has a very good location. The service was perfect - the employees were very helpful and nice. Our room was very clean and they just checked it every day. The bed was a little bit uncomfortable, the bathroom was too small/tight. The daily extra fee from 25$ for wifi and other utilization was very bad. They could tell us about the extra fees earlier or put it in the price. The wifi connection was not good.

I was at this hotel a month ago and my 2 complaints were the VERY POOR wifi in the room and the fact that my guest phone was not working so it was difficult to order room service. This time, I had a working phone in my room but the wifi was still very bad. I could not connect to the internet at all in my room, only in the lobby. One of the attractions of South Beach is the wide variety of accommodations, there really is something for everybody; if you are looking for a big party hotel, this is not it. The Raleigh is an oasis of comfort, peace and quiet in the usual chaos of South Beach.
