I have decided I am too old to curl up like a pretzel on a airport seat for a long layover so I chose to stay at the Miami Airport Hotel for My recent trips to and from South America. It was perfect....clean, comfortable, quiet. In addition you get free breakfast in the am. Highly recommended.

Hard to find hotel. Signage misleading. Water temperature fluctuated wildly, almost scalding me several times. Poor sleep hygiene - too much light from under the door. No view (well, of the top of the airport terminal). Restaurant closed. Not impressed. Mattress was good, though pillows terrible.

I had a 7 hours layover in the airport, and I was alone with my 3 year-old daughter. So the stay was great - we napped (the room was light and sound proofed), took a shower, had free breakfast. It is very worth it the price (which is very reasonable).

Extra time to sleep! The front desk staff is generally helpful and friendly, and the bell hops are nice. The lobby is very nice and comfortable. My flight was delayed until the next morning so I decided to stay somewhere close. The personnel were very friendly, but the floor I stayed in smelled like fresh paint. Chose this hotel for early morning convenience (5am check in) and it was perfect in all ways but one. My room had a connecting door and the guests in the adjoining room talked way into the night and I could hear every word! I called security at 1am and they asked them to quieten down and they did but really they were not being outrageously noisy at all its as just that the door allowed the sound to travel. I would certainly stay again but would ask for a room with no connecting door.

A one night stop, clean functional room, impersonal staff at check in, but at the price it was fine. Also was well soundproofed. The one big downside was that their restaurant was closed for renovation. Due to late arrival of our flight from Grand Cayman we booked this hotel as its situated on airport. In hindsight we would have gone elsewhere. The room was very small but it had a large bed. There was a coffee machine which can also boil water for tea but limited to one tea bag and one coffee per person. Bathroom ok, no shower gel just soap, although it did supply shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. We were hungry so went to the restaurant that provides breakfast but when we asked if they cou... This is the second time that I've stayed at the Miami Airport Hotel. It is definitely the most convenient option, since it's located IN the Miami Airport. I actually stayed in a single room to save money, and it was great. It may have been smaller than a closet, but it was definitely enough for one person. The breakfast options downstairs are OK, but hey, it's free. Spending two nights here definitely felt a little like I was living in an airport, but there are so many food options outside secur... Using Miami International Airport and traveling to Los Angeles California. MIA has the typical airport size and some gate can be updated. Check on counter are easy to locate and clean. If you have a car rental, make sure to take extra 30mins since the car rental concourse is a bit ways out from the check in counter and if you're air carrier is on the other side then you really need that 30mins to go to our air carrier check in counter.

American Airlines placed me in this hotel when a delayed flight made me miss my connection. I would have been very upset if I had paid for the room, it was extremely small and had a pretty rich price. No hot water, just barely lukewarm. This hotel would do in an emergency, or when convenience is a big part of the picture. Otherwise, take a shuttle to one of the other hotels near the airport.
