"I have to agree with the last person who posted a review. I have stayed in motels to four star hotels and everything in between but this was by far the WORSE hotel. We had planned to stay a week but after seeing the hotel and seeing our room, i was near tears. I told my husband no way would i stay a whole week here. For one, it is a very old and run down hotel. The room we were put in was a Supreme Double but there was nothing supreme about it. Two old rinky beds with what looiked to be just sheets and a thin bedspread thrown over. The coffee maker looked like something that was bought at a garage sale, old dusty as did the table it was sitting on. The balcony had broken cement and was useless as it looked like it was in much needed repair. The carpets in the hallways and room were not only old and wrinkled but full of dirt and dust. We really tried to make the best of it and even went outside to see if we could make it work. Only pro was that the beach was right directly behind the hotel. That's it. We were fortunate enough to switch to their sister hotel. It had been renovated 3 months prior. What a difference -- like night and day. This hotel was much much much nicer, clean, and the staff was AMAZING! It was smaller, cozier, cleaner. Still an older suite like hotel but i have no complaints. We were finally able to get on with our vacation! My only suggestion is not related to the hotel but as to Florida in general. If you fly in to Ft Lauderdale, get a room in Ft Lauderdale!!!! Miami is just 30 minutes away and hotels are much nicer and MUCH reasonably priced!"

"Stay away from this hotel old, and FILTHY. I did not received what I booked. Asked for non smoking, single bed. I got two beds, smoking room. The room was old and filthy. The faucet leaked, the toilet did not flush. The walls are thin and you can hear all the noise from the other rooms, plus the hall way. room 204 or 206 I believe. Went to talk to front desk so I can be moved, they said they had no rooms available. We had to sleep there that night, I think we just passed out because of the smell of the cigar smoke. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE, ITS FILTHY AND THEY DO NOTHING TO FIX ANY OF THEIR MISTAKES."

"Good location, close to souvenir shops and walgreens for last minute needs. Comfortable beds, although beachfront.. set back further than other beachfront hotels so heard some noise from street. Breakfast not that good at hotel, overcooked eggs. Friendly staff.. Good basic hotel with pool, bar, clean rooms. Will try to stay on Ocean dr. next time but still had great time!"
