This hotel was very pleasant. I would say reliable and standard. Clean, quiet, safe. The valet service was prompt, housekeeping was accommodating, desk clerks pleasant. My only problem was very slow elevator service. It seemed only one or two of four were working on any given day. The outstanding feature was wonderful bed linens and such a comfortable mattress. I could have used a step to get into it.

Refreshed hotel, great location, friendly staff, clean rooms - amazing breakfast buffet although can be $$ if not included in your room rate. Valet Parking onsite.Handy to local grocery store so it's easy to grab some essentials... many restaurants in the area to select from and walking distance to shopping area.

My wife and I stayed here over 30 days since December. I was in hospital and she spent most of the time there. The staff was wonderful to her and especially the Resaurant personnel. Being alone they made her feel at home. The renovated rooms are great but the old ones you need to avoid. The big screen tv is fabulous when staying in bed recovering !

The Rooms are spacious, very clean, helpful staff. The rooms smell like home not that artificial chemical smell. The beds are very comfortable. Big screen TV. Breakfast is extra. Walking distance to grocery store and two malls including Dadeland. Excellent security. Valley parking.

Valet parking was great since we got in and had to leave in 15 minutes to attend a function, they held our car in the front. One of two rooms was ready so we put all our luggage there and made it to our destination timely. The young lady took our phone number and called me when our other room was ready, nice service. Nice hotel, good location, walking distance to the nearby mall, and Publix supermarket, small eating places around. It is a hotel where business travelers and airline personnel stay. There are enough attractions nearby that one can go to if needed. Parking costs $20 a day, valet service. We chose not to have a car for our stay. We were there for a family wedding. This Marriott is well located for business and shopping. clean not crowded , rooms are big . the only problem was a restoration next to my room, noise after 8am. very good breakfast . in general is a good Marriott.

Lovely place to settle down. Was only in for a few days, but the staff were all very helpful and professional. Had to pay for wi-fi (which was not properly explained before I arrived - though not the hotel's fault directly), but other than that, the food was good, the room was nice and spacious and (most importantly) clean, with a comfortable bed and a lovely view of Dadeland.

Stayed here for a wedding and was your typical Marriott. Room was clean and pool was nice. Close to shopping mall if interested. Valet service was very helpful and reliable. Front desk very helpful as well.

We went to Miami for a graduation from University of Miami and the school recommended this hotel. It couldn't have been more convenient in regards to getting back and forth from the University. The Metro literally stops at the 2nd floor of the hotel! It made it so easy since we weren't familiar with the area. The hotel itself was very nice and recently updated. On our visit last week, and we stay at this hotel often, I noticed that the benches outside on either side of the entrance were missing. This hotel offers valet parking only so you do have to wait for your car and you might want to wait for a shuttle or for someone to pick you up. The point is, no benches. Ok. It's a generic Marriott property. Nothing really special here to say. Good sized room, great services, all the things that you expect from Marriott are there. What I didn't expect was the odd parking situation. I'm not a fan of valet but here you are basically forced to use it as the parking garage does not have a convenient access point to the hotel that I could find. The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. Love, love, love the valet service and everyone....and I mean everyone who works at this property is amazing. The hotel is under construction. I was handed a letter when I arrived saying that any construction would cease at 6pm each day. I stayed 2 nights and each night I had to call and ask for the drilling to stop after 9pm. Water shut off for 6 hours one day too. I was not looking forward to visiting Miami after moving away long ago. But a High School reunion brought us back. I expected the Miami attitude and that is not what we experienced. The Miami Marriott Dadeland was a great hotel for our conference base--within walking distance of meeting location, food, and shopping. Great amenities including the roof top pool, fitness center, restaurant, and airport shuttle (although that do charge you $10 per trip). Room service was amazingly fast and the food was great! Guest services staff were incredibly professional and helpful--they represented the brand well. Not cheap, but great quality!

The hotel itself is in a good location, customer service and the maid service is stellar. Talking with other co-workers common complaints (in multiple rooms on multiple floors), are stains on carpets, blinds, and couches ( beds are very clean). Decent location close to Dadeland Mall and Pinecrest. Seems maintenance was kept to a minimum over the last 30 years. Common areas are dirty with walls needing new painting. Room smelled of mildew and old cigarette smoke. Avoid.

I Chose this hotel as it is next to dining, shopping and grocery store. Plus I know Marriott services. The Hotel is clean, the rooms are spacious and the customer service staff are friendly and accommodating. There is a mandatory valet parking; I will never understand why I need someone to drive 100 - 500 feet to park my car and charge me high dollars to do so when I can do the same thing myself and then I'm highly encouraged to give a tip for doing so. The hotel is nice in a business sort of way. It is in a great location. The shows very well on entry. The toilet was having issues on arrival. It took two calls to get it rectified. One before dinner and one the next morning. The king sized bed had one mattress on top of two smaller box springs. I had an event here in Miami and worked with Virginia from sales and catering to get all of my details firmed down. She was understanding of all of my needs and had my room set-up exactly as I wanted despite my last minute changes. Henry was my POC onsite and helped me through my entire event. I spent 6 nights at Marriott Dadeland in September 2016. I was very pleased with the customer service especially the Front Desk staff who took the time out to assist with my queries about the hotel and about local facilities. My room was comfortable and clean. The hotel is in close proximity to supermarket, bus station, train station and is also a short stroll to Dadeland Mall. I consider this hotel to be good value for money and will certainly stay there again.

Fairly priced, this hotel is easy to get to and is centrally located to restaurants and the Dadeland Mall. The staff is professional and courteous. If available, upgrade to the Concierge level. It makes a great experience even better!

Booked 3 rooms here for Friday night to attend a funeral. Was upgraded to concierge level for my Gold status. However, it's really NOT an upgrade at all if you have the misfortune to arrive on a Friday night. Since the lounge is closed Friday-Sunday, Elite members receive breakfast in the restaurant. This is my second time there; the first time was a charm ! This time went back seeking shelter from Matthew the Hurricane. The hotel was apparently fully booked. Visited this Marriott from Sunday to Tuesday on business. Restaurant was closed on Sunday when I arrived, so the only option was to eat in the lobby bar. Steve, bartender, was very friendly. He explained business hotel and most everything is closed on the weekend. Cuban sandwich is delicious. Room was comfortable. Bed and linens superb! Carpet had a few spots, but not too bad. Upper floors are very quiet. Parking valet mandatory for $21/day.

We were staying at the Marriott Dadeland Hotel in Miami Florida. We had 4 rooms on the 9th floor. Construction signs indicated that they were undergoing renovation in the hotel and there was loud banging clearly evident when we checked into our rooms, but when we asked the front desk whether or not this would continue through the weekend, we were told, "no." Never have I stayed in a place that I have rated so low. Here on business for 14 days. No refrigerator, they don't offer you one, but then you find out you can request one. Same goes for a microwave but they are all taken so you have to get on a waitlist and they can't tell you when the next available one will be. We stayed at this venue because it was near a celebratory event that we were attending. While desk help is pleasant they are not well informed about better local dining or that a short car ride away. Nice hotel but I personally prefer the self parking over the valet in a large hotel. The elevators are being remodeled so it was a little confusing. Publix and Shortys BBQ withinin walking distance was nice though!

This hotel was well maintained in the 1990s. It had spacious rooms and a clean luxurious look about it. I was thoroughly disappointed with the decor, the carpet is tattered and the prices are outrageous for the service that they provide. The airport shuttle does not function between noon and 5 p.m. The only redeeming factors 1. the evening snacks and morning breakfast is fresh and there are a variety of items on the menu.and 2. I really liked this property. I thought it was a little more fun than your average Marriott or big chain hotel. The rooms were nice and well-kept. The pool was a great spot. Spent a couple of nights. Although it appeared some renovation works were on going it did not materially effect things save for work on the elevators which meant one out of four was out during the day. Good sized and equipped room. Reliable Marriott standard. Excellent service and very personable and attentive staff. Great location; about 20 minutes drive from the airport providing not in the midst of rush hour, Dadeland Mall a short walk away and cafes, restaurants and bars nearby.

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights recently. We were fortunate to have gotten one of the recently renovated rooms. Currently they have 4 floors which have been upgraded. The restaurant (Whitneys) serves good food.
