The historic elevator is currently undergoing a face lift and will be out of service. "All you pay for at this hotel is the location. It fits perfectly in the middle of Ocean Drive. However, its a very old hotel and the owner hasn't put much into renovating it like many of the surrounding hotels. The rooms have a musky smell and the ac was down for several days. The only compensation they gave us was about $40 off our 'resort fee' which is $12.50/person/day. There is no pool there and they only give you 2 towels for the beach so I don't understand what the resort fee covers exactly. Our keys were constantly inactivating so each time we have to run back down to the front to have new keys made. Again, the location was the best and only good thing there. "

"No parking. You have to valet park and that $27 but they don't tell you that. It is also a restaurant so if you arrive late, bear in mind you have to haul you own luggage up a set of stairs just to get to the front desk(which is just a dinky counter) while people are in the middle of eating dinner. The room is tiny and very old. The whole place is run-down. I've stayed at quint old places and this is not it."

"I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It had a musty,k damp smell. It is everything old and needs to be remodeled extremely badly. This hotel is not a good choice at all for any purpose and was over priced considering the accomodations."

"THE LOCATION WAS GREAT! RIGHT ACROSS FROM THE BEACH & CLOSE TO ALL THE OTHER SPRING BREAKERS!! BUT ALL THE PICTURES ONLINE WERE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THAN THE HOTEL! THE ROOM WAS SUPER SMALL, THE BATHROOM WAS SO SMALL WE COULDNT GET READY IN IT, THE 'OCEAN VIEW' I PAID FOR WAS THE SIDE OF THE BUILDING NEXT DOOR. THE HOTEL WAS NOTHING WE EXPECTED"

"My trip to Miami was very beautiful. My stay at the Majestic hotel was not too great. The staff was great but the rooms were not that great. The room had mold on the walls and that was not comfortable sleeping in a room with mold on the walls. When I visit Miami again I will not be staying in the Majestic."
