"The only thing that was great was the location it was so smelly in the hall ways and the lobby the shower was so bad and to top it off the carpets were disgusting never ever again will i stay there!!!! The pictures don't even look like the place and the ones right next to it and the ones on the block down were so much nicer then this **** hole!!!"

"All you pay for at this hotel is the location. It fits perfectly in the middle of Ocean Drive. However, its a very old hotel and the owner hasn't put much into renovating it like many of the surrounding hotels. The rooms have a musky smell and the ac was down for several days. The only compensation they gave us was about $40 off our 'resort fee' which is $12.50/person/day. There is no pool there and they only give you 2 towels for the beach so I don't understand what the resort fee covers exactly. Our keys were constantly inactivating so each time we have to run back down to the front to have new keys made. Again, the location was the best and only good thing there. "

"No parking. You have to valet park and that $27 but they don't tell you that. It is also a restaurant so if you arrive late, bear in mind you have to haul you own luggage up a set of stairs just to get to the front desk(which is just a dinky counter) while people are in the middle of eating dinner. The room is tiny and very old. The whole place is run-down. I've stayed at quint old places and this is not it."

"I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It had a musty,k damp smell. It is everything old and needs to be remodeled extremely badly. This hotel is not a good choice at all for any purpose and was over priced considering the accomodations."

"THE LOCATION WAS GREAT! RIGHT ACROSS FROM THE BEACH & CLOSE TO ALL THE OTHER SPRING BREAKERS!! BUT ALL THE PICTURES ONLINE WERE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THAN THE HOTEL! THE ROOM WAS SUPER SMALL, THE BATHROOM WAS SO SMALL WE COULDNT GET READY IN IT, THE 'OCEAN VIEW' I PAID FOR WAS THE SIDE OF THE BUILDING NEXT DOOR. THE HOTEL WAS NOTHING WE EXPECTED"

"This has been the worst hotel experience in my last 7 years traveling. We arrived at the Majestic on Thursday August 9, 2012.. On Saturday i woke up to swollen arms. I have approxiametly 18 Bites on my ARMS from Bed Bugs. We found 3 Bugs on the BEDS !! Front Desk sent a lady to inspect the room she saw the bugs and automatically took the sheets off the beds. The front desk supervisor changed our room to a different floor. The supervisor of the front desk offered us food vouchers worth $5.75 for breakfast for our last 2 days at the hotel.The hotel Manager NEVER contacted us or called us regarding this issue. We were told to email pictures to the hotel email address that kept bouncing back. This HOTEL is Disgusting !!! NEVER AGAIN"

"My trip to Miami was very beautiful. My stay at the Majestic hotel was not too great. The staff was great but the rooms were not that great. The room had mold on the walls and that was not comfortable sleeping in a room with mold on the walls. When I visit Miami again I will not be staying in the Majestic."

"Arrived Jan 19th 2012. Staff very nice but water was very cold .I do have a disease were as Im not suppose to be in cold water. The water was as cold as the beach water my water didnt heat up until 3 days later. The manager was suppose to give us a couple of days off our bill but so far its been only the 12.90 we pay a day for cleaning : for two days which was only 26.00 dollars. The hotel set right across from the beach which was a plus. So, were waiting to talk to the manager of Majestic Hotel."

"Marvelous location @ corner of 7th and Ocean Drive. Directly across street from South Beach Park and beach, so nothing blocking view or access to beach. GAP store behind it and public parking lot 1 1/2 blocks away. Ocean 7 sidewalk cafe in front of hotel has good service and food. Lots of good eateries, clubs and shopping nearby. If there on weekends, expect noisy guests and slamming doors at 3 to 4 in AM. Old style hotel but bathroom and amenities modern. Staff helpful if you ask and show interest in getting them to explain tours, parking and benefits to you. Must have a deficiency of wash cloths because we had to ask a maid, who had only a few, for a couple."

"Great location, old hotel no elevator, no nice lobby, good restaurant and clean rooms, spacious rooms. If you want to relax in your room and you are really picky this is not the place for you. If you are going to party all night and don't want to rent a car and only need to shower and sleep for a few hours to wake up and party again, this is the place for you. I would stay here again if I was just partying keep in mind the pillows and beds are hard. Overall, good for the price though."

"The Majestic Hotel is a very good choice. Great location on Ocean Drive, the beach is right across the street, so there's no need to look for a pool. If you want something to eat, the restaurant is right outside the hotel front steps. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean. I did not spend at lot of time in the room, but I liked the 40 inch TV screen, free internet access, free bottled water, in-room safe, free beach towels and chair. Definitely a great value if you primarily just need a comfortable place to sleep after a night of partying and want to be close to the beach."
