"We had a great time, but I would have appreciated some honesty in the listing. This is not a resort, there is no staff to be found anywhere. Assume you are borrowing your cousin's condo for the week and you will be OK - on your own, but OK. We loved that check in was painless - just pick up your keys from the gatehouse - but it would have been nice to have known that. We had to figure out for ourselves there is no 'lobby' to check in. The only staff we ever saw was the valet parking and they were not extremely helpful unless they were parking your car. We sought out the 'Food Emporium' which is actually a tiny convenience store and not a very well stocked one at that. The sign said 'Open til 11pm' and my watch said 10:49pm, but the place was shuttered. The highlight of the place is the pool. It is beautiful, no frills, plenty of chairs, nice hot tub, etc. Our youngest who cant swim yet had to stay on the stairs, though - no kiddie pool here. Also no lifeguard, but that was actually refreshing because everyone was well behaved and we didn't have someone kicking the kids out every hour. Don't forget your passcard, you need it to get in to the pool and they only gave us one, so I had to jockey for custody of it. The beach is a pretty easy 10 minute walk, but I was very disappointed in the decidedly un-pedestrian-friendly nature of the place. There were lots of pedestrians joining in our cause, but limited sidewalks and horrible connectivity. The grocery store is literally across the street, but you have to walk all the way around a huge block and even then, still cut through an awful alley. Traffic is racing at 60 mph right at the curb, so we held little hands very tight. Besides a regular grocery store, there is an awesome albeit crazy expensive boutique grocery as well. The only staff we saw the entire week was the guy who tried to kick us out a day early - glad we were there to answer the door! I guess he figured out that whatever his computer told him, my visa card said I had paid for 5 nights! All-in-all we had a great time, the apartment was dated under the fresh coat of white paint, but reasonably appointed and definitely clean. I'm not sure if it's quite the deal we thought, but as long as you know this is not a resort or a hotel, it's a residential condo, you can have a great time with little fuss."

"Although the location of this 'Five Star Rental Property' for my trip was perfect, the accomodations were not. The floors were dirty, the furniture dusty and there was black mold growing in the master bath. Also the management staff was rude and unprofessional."

"Extremely disappointed as we read such great reviews. Firstly, us 6 adults booked a 3 bedroom apt. and ended up with a 2 bdroom AND were told that there was nothing that could be done....BRUTAL!! So beware b/c I have read other reviews and apparently this has happened alot. it looks magnificent from the outside. I thought the pool and area were run down however. Also, the stairwells were disguisting to say the least."

"Checked in Friday night with the security guard and supposed to have 3 keys for the room. We did have 3 keys but only 2 for our room and 1 for another room. Security guards said oh well just use the other 2 and tomorrow take other key back. The room was not very clean and the bathrooms were a mess. Stuff still in the sinks and floors were dirty and bed blankest had black spots on them. Went to the main office on Saturday asked for the room to be cleaned She said today was not good maybe sometime Sunday afternoon. Not much priority. Friend found a bag of chips under the bed with a pizza box. Valet was slow and one time the valet said car is over there and gave me the keys. On check out office did not open at 9 am but few employees were waiting outside for the manager to open up. He did not come until 10 after 9 am but continued to talk on his cell phone and ignore everyone. Let the employee know about issue she said will leave note on a post-it. So much for customer service!"

"IT WAS A MESS FROM THE START, THE ROOM WAS MILDEW AND MY OTHER GUEST THAT CAME IN DIDN'T HAVE A ROOM, WHEN THEY ARRIVED IT TOOK 3 TO 4 HOURS TO GET THEM IN A ROOM. WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN. WE THOUGHT BOOKING WAY AHEAD WAS BETTER BUT WE FOUND OUT IT WASN'T. FROM A WEEK OR TWO AHEAD OF GOING ON THE TRIP THINGS STARTED GOING SOUR. IT WAS MY 50TH BDAY CELEBRATION BUT NEXT TIME WILL GO BY MY FIRST INSTINCT AND GO TO THE TRIUMP ON THE BEACH. WE SPENT TO MUCH MONEY FOR THE SERVICE WE GOT."
