"No problems whatsoever!! A little far from the Art Deco district, but a $8 cab drive will get you there!! It was about $35 from airport! Very clean, very friendly staff, and on the beach!! Just beautiful for my first trip to Miami Beach!! Very pleased!! :)"

"We stayed at the Hotel Riu after a 4-night cruise out of the Port of Miami. Cab to the Hotel was about $25. Althought check-in was not until 4:00, hotel staff took our bags and gave us towels to use the pool, and got us into our room by 1:00, so we were very pleased with that. the hotel lobby is very nice. While we did not eat or drink at the indoor bar & restaurant, they looked nice. The pool area is beautiful - plenty of loungers with umbrella's & tiki hut areas. The outdoor pool bar had good basic food w/ reasonable prices, and the salads were huge for lunch. The hotel is right on the beach, so this is nice - but it is rather far from 'south beach'. You would have to take a cab I think to get down to that area where the night life is. Rooms are basic - but ours was clean so no issues. Most of the ohter guests were not American and we heard an assortment of foreign languages around us. While I wouldn't seek this hotel out, I would have no qualms about staying there again. The price was reasonable and the pool/tiki bar area was great."

"Awww, I was sooooo happy I stayed at Riu for my b-day!
I was spoiled with the all-inclusive offerings of the resort and the staff.
I would watch the sun come up and go down from my seventh floor balcony.
You want room 730...the view is fabulous!
