To be honest I was expecting the hotel to be nicer. It is definitely showing its age but luckily they have started renovations. It appears to be from the 60's! I was provided a high floor with a nice view - that was a positive! Self parking was $25 per day which is steep but I only had a rental for one night so it didn't break the bank. It was rather confusing that the lobby wasn't on the ground floor and you had to take an elevator up to the lobby level and another elevator up to the guest... Read more

This is an excellent hotel to easily access most of Miami and only 20 minutes from the airport and 10 from South Beach. It is being refurbished presently which rules out any chance of a lie in past 9am. Facilities are good and when refurbished will be magnificent I'm sure. Our room was a corner junior suite that they upgraded us to because of problems checking in and was amazing, but that may not be representative of standard rooms though. Make sure you go for a view of the Bay though as that i... Read more

I've had better stays at this hotel. Its under renovation, so maybe after that things will get fixed. So, part of our benefit from being a road warrior is an upgrade available, typically to the nicest room available @ check-in, when you are Hilton HHonors Gold or Diamond, the agent typically thanks you for being gold, and will apologize if there are no upgrades or explain it. Not this time. She at least gave me the water. I asked about an upgrade at check-in, despite Hilton.com's emails of... Read more

I will start by saying that the hotel was undergoing construction and remodeling when we stayed but it did not bother us in any way. In fact, we never heard a word. The hotel is very clean and modern. The rooms are very clean and spacious as are all common areas. Every staff person we encountered from valet, housekeeping, front desk, restaurant... were all so very helpful and pleasant. We were spoiled rotten and made to feel like kings/queens. PROS: The hotel location is good, and east facing rooms have a nice view of the water. My room was a double queen bed style. The beds were average comfort. The room was decently spacious. The A/C was adjustable and worked fine. Overall a pretty clean room (with the exception of the phone which was grimy). The Wifi was fast and no issues streaming movies. There were a few grocery stores and restaurants conveniently within walking distance of the hotel. CONS: Hotel is currently being remodeled,... Read more

Despite the fact that the hotel was under construction, there were no disrupted noise. The hotel area was not clutter and always there were a refreshing smell that may have eliminated any dust or odors. I have an awesome, spacious room with a beautiful view. All questions were answered and the staff was top-notched especially Josette. I look forward to coming back.

So where do I start. The room was nice and the view pretty. Getting to the lobby was inconvenient but I understood as it appears they may be renovating. My lock broke and it took almost 4 hours to fix. No real concessions it was more like a shoulder shrug c'est la vie kind of attitude. I am a Hilton honours member but that meant nothing here. It's unfortunate and sad but it happened. Not mad but underwhelmed and ultimately disappointed.

It is a perfect Downtown location, nice hotel with everything at hands. We had a corner 2 all-glass walls room on the 12th floor with a breathtaking view on Miami and the Bay. It is a 20 min walk to the Lagoon attractions and tours, though I would not choose to walk there at night, because of construction sites, big and deserted parking lots around. This Hilton hotel is under reservations but the staff and contractors do not detract from your state. I stayed in a recently renovated room. The changes reflect the "new hotel dweller," many usb ports, empty small refrigerator, and general contemporary decor. The bed is meets or exceeds Hilton standards. My wife and I enjoyed the stay. BTW, I am a long time hotel snob!

My boyfriend (now fianc├ę) and I stayed here in August 2014. Life got in the way of me submitting this review, but here I am! I planned a surprise birthday trip to Miami for my boyfriend and decided to book the Hilton Miami Downtown (as I have always loved a good Hilton). I wanted to make this trip very special so I spoke to an an AMAZING concierge, DAVID GARCIA ZELAYA, to have my boyfriend's favorite snacks and drink(s) in the room upon our arrival. David went WELL OUT OF HIS WAY to inform m... Read more

After getting off of our cruise we were exhausted and were hoping to check into our room early. Although they weren't able to get us in our room right away we still got in earlier than our normal check in. The front desk staff was wonderful and so helpful with all of our questions. We were even able to check our bags in with the bell staff while we toured around town waiting for our room to be ready. Then we get into our room and we have a BEAUTIFUL bay view and our bags were brought up to our r... Read more

My stay during the 4th of July was okay. First when we got there while checking in I find out that they place an additional $150 hold on your card which caught me off guard since I called and checked on that before booking the room and wasn't told that, but hey I digress. Then we were told about the parking.....well you can use the public parking garage for a fee of $25 a day which me and my girl were cool with but that is only if you park once every 24hours. So if you park there and decide to l... Read more

Renovations going on, make shift restaurant, no pool bar/snack shop as advertised. Had to get to the pool through back stairways and emergency hallways. Pool dirty, too low. Well below filtration line. Bugs, hair and leaves floating in pool water. No elevator to the pool so if you can't walk easily up 4 flights of stairs and a few hallways you are out of luck. Renovation noise beginning each day at 8:50am.

Night view from Hilton Miami is beautiful best view! Service and location great. Would definitely recommend to stay here and will return. Close to attractions for cruise shopping and Merrick Mall shopping is only 20 minutes away with a lot of high end shoppings.

Rooms needs a lot of help, and they are very pricey based on the quality of the hotel. The carpets need loving too. The lounge area is nice and so are the conference rooms. The food is very good in the restaurant and lounge area. The valet service is great as well.

As mentioned in the title, there is a renovation going on so guests may have to bear with everything that's going on around by this time; noise, busyness, unsightly construction, some amenities closed, etc.... BUT! As for the room, well...we were given the room on the side of Biscayne Blvd which had the view of the more peaceful area. We were checked in to a newly renovated room, as in we were the first guests to have been accomodated after the renovation. It IS (because we're still here) great!... Read more

Several friends and I stay here for a weekend trip down to Miami. Most of us knew nothing about the area, but this didn't matter at all since the staff was so great. The hotel's bartender, Cristina, was extremely helpful. She made great drinks and recommended tons of restaurants, bars, and areas in the city for us to visit. It was a great time and we had a blast trying out the recommended areas.

The same members at valet were rude as was the person who served breakfast. Everyone else was very kind and pleasant. Lots of construction going on which made working from the hotel somewhat difficult.
