To be honest I was expecting the hotel to be nicer. It is definitely showing its age but luckily they have started renovations. It appears to be from the 60's! I was provided a high floor with a nice view - that was a positive! Self parking was $25 per day which is steep but I only had a rental for one night so it didn't break the bank. It was rather confusing that the lobby wasn't on the ground floor and you had to take an elevator up to the lobby level and another elevator up to the guest... Read more

This is an excellent hotel to easily access most of Miami and only 20 minutes from the airport and 10 from South Beach. It is being refurbished presently which rules out any chance of a lie in past 9am. Facilities are good and when refurbished will be magnificent I'm sure. Our room was a corner junior suite that they upgraded us to because of problems checking in and was amazing, but that may not be representative of standard rooms though. Make sure you go for a view of the Bay though as that i... Read more

I've had better stays at this hotel. Its under renovation, so maybe after that things will get fixed. So, part of our benefit from being a road warrior is an upgrade available, typically to the nicest room available @ check-in, when you are Hilton HHonors Gold or Diamond, the agent typically thanks you for being gold, and will apologize if there are no upgrades or explain it. Not this time. She at least gave me the water. I asked about an upgrade at check-in, despite Hilton.com's emails of... Read more

I will start by saying that the hotel was undergoing construction and remodeling when we stayed but it did not bother us in any way. In fact, we never heard a word. The hotel is very clean and modern. The rooms are very clean and spacious as are all common areas. Every staff person we encountered from valet, housekeeping, front desk, restaurant... were all so very helpful and pleasant. We were spoiled rotten and made to feel like kings/queens. PROS: The hotel location is good, and east facing rooms have a nice view of the water. My room was a double queen bed style. The beds were average comfort. The room was decently spacious. The A/C was adjustable and worked fine. Overall a pretty clean room (with the exception of the phone which was grimy). The Wifi was fast and no issues streaming movies. There were a few grocery stores and restaurants conveniently within walking distance of the hotel. CONS: Hotel is currently being remodeled,... Read more

Despite the fact that the hotel was under construction, there were no disrupted noise. The hotel area was not clutter and always there were a refreshing smell that may have eliminated any dust or odors. I have an awesome, spacious room with a beautiful view. All questions were answered and the staff was top-notched especially Josette. I look forward to coming back.

So where do I start. The room was nice and the view pretty. Getting to the lobby was inconvenient but I understood as it appears they may be renovating. My lock broke and it took almost 4 hours to fix. No real concessions it was more like a shoulder shrug c'est la vie kind of attitude. I am a Hilton honours member but that meant nothing here. It's unfortunate and sad but it happened. Not mad but underwhelmed and ultimately disappointed.

It is a perfect Downtown location, nice hotel with everything at hands. We had a corner 2 all-glass walls room on the 12th floor with a breathtaking view on Miami and the Bay. It is a 20 min walk to the Lagoon attractions and tours, though I would not choose to walk there at night, because of construction sites, big and deserted parking lots around. The changes reflect the "new hotel dweller," many usb ports, empty small refrigerator, and general contemporary decor. The bed is meets or exceeds Hilton standards. My wife and I enjoyed the stay. BTW, I am a long time hotel snob!

Renovations going on, make shift restaurant, no pool bar/snack shop as advertised. Had to get to the pool through back stairways and emergency hallways. Pool dirty, too low. Well below filtration line. Bugs, hair and leaves floating in pool water. No elevator to the pool so if you can't walk easily up 4 flights of stairs and a few hallways you are out of luck. Renovation noise beginning each day at 8:50am.

My friend and I stayed at this hotel for one night before boarding a cruise from the Miami cruise port. It was a great hotel and we felt at home right away! Here are some of our experiences: -The staff: everyone is very friendly and goes above and beyond. The valet guys are very efficient and kind. The staff member that helped us with our bags went over key points of the hotel and told us all the facilities and their operating hours. The front desk staff is awesome. I needed a bunch of document... Read more

I'm a regular Hilton user and was delighted with the room I was allocated, 6th floor recently refurbished good view everything worked fine. Had read and was wary of construction work underway but did not notice any, only give away was temporary bar area (square room, painted green,2 tv's) as there is not much else around the hotel within walking distance. Really disappointed with departure experience, had stayed 4 nights and had a late flight and wished to arrange a room extension or leave my lu... Read more

It happens that a perfectly good hotel gives a very bad first impression due to bad check in experience. I made our reservation for a a five day conference stay in this hotel months in advance. On the day of our arrival I called in the morning and told them that we shall be arriving after midnight, so please assign us a quiet room, with water view on a renovated high floor. Of course they didn't. So after a very long tiring day, we arrive to the reception , which is on a different floor from ... Read more

We stood here for just one night. Came in for a concert which we walked to at the American Airlines Arena. Probably a mile walk but better than fighting concert traffic. Took elevators up to get checked in and the renovated lobby is pretty amazing. Guy who checked us in was very friendly and inviting. Upgraded our room (Hilton Honors) to a water view which was unexpected and very much appreciated. First 10 floors are newly renovated so you probably want to ask for a room on floors 1-10 while th... This hotel is currently under renovation and as a result amenities are at a bare minimum. The restaurant is basically a converted hotel ballroom serving meeting/conference quality food. The newly renovated rooms are small and dark creating a cave like experience that's at odds with the Miami locale. Possibly the worst Hilton I've ever stayed in.

We had a conference in this hotel in Nov. 2016. The conference area is nice, and fit for these events (tought some windows would have given a nicer attitude). The lobby is at second floor, but the whole hotel structure is...well, the word coming to my mind is "compressed" (no large vaults or similar, no spaces extending for two or three floors... well, I hope you got the point). Pool is small, and I was not able to find fitness area. The hotel in Nov. 2016 was undergoing some works to improve ... Read more

We stayed her for a week with my husband. It was under construction. Room service was great, I would call at 6am and breakfast would take 40 minutes but since I am pregnant and I let them know this, they would take it in 15 minutes. What I didn't like was the room cleaning, they practically just made the beds and threw trash out. They didn't clean surfaces or take out the food tray or but the ironing board back on place. The rest was fine! Good location and good price.

OK hotel, under-going renovation. Way too stark for me. Spacious, modern, sort of Danish-hip. Stayed on the 9th floor in a suite but had requested higher. Suite was good, corner view of other high-rises. Dinner was in temporary area, not so good. If you are thinking abut staying here, be prepared to pay high price for very, very average accommodations. We had breakfast at the Marriott nearby so I would recommend staying there. Very cool church nearby. Staff was good, cruise terminal clearly visi... Read more

i really like this Hotel. we got a room on the 10th floor with a spectacular view over Lynwood and North Miami. It was a new renovated room, very spacious and nicely made. The location close to the city mover is perfect! There is a publix across the street and South Beach around the corner (15min drive)

We stayed here for 1 night on 6th November before our cruise and then 1 night on 18th November, after our cruise. Very central location for Downtown Miami. 6th November: Checked in after a long flight. Lovely receptionist and an easy process, they gave us a renovated room with a great view on 9th floor. Very comfortable bed, huge bathroom and very clean. We were exhausted so didn't venture out that night. Only downfall was in the morning, the noise from the renovations were very very lo... Read more

This hotel is located 5 mins walk to Metromover and bus interchange. Renovations did not cause any noise...asked for room on first 10 floors as another reviewer said these had been completed. Room a great size, bed comfortable but squeaky, furnishings new. Valet car service efficient.
