My wife and I stayed here two separate nights, one on our departure and one on our return from vacation. The hotel is obviously situated close to the airport, and the shuttle does indeed run every fifteen minutes to the airport. Shuttle drivers were kind and helpful, and the ride takes about 5 minutes, pending any traffic. We actually took a car service from the airport to the hotel, so I cannot speak on the ease of finding, or using the shuttle back to the hotel. The first nights stay, I h... Read more

Ended up here after we missed our connection. Check in was slow as people kept coming up to the check in counter and getting attention vs. those that were in the que to check in. An acknowledgement would have went a long way, it had already been a trying day. Also was charged for mini bar purchases that I did not make, still working on the rectification. The restaurant was quite good. Jorge was very attentive and the food was an A+. Rooms very nice and spacious, beds comfortable. ... Read more

The Hilton Miami Airport Hotel has undergone beautiful renovations, however the walls are still very thin. My partner and I were woken up multiple times by loud guests and arriving/departing planes. If you want a good nights rest before traveling, I would recommend staying at another hotel.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights, the staff were very nice and helpful. the room was very comfortable, and the lobby area relaxing for just hanging out. I'll definitely be back. If you are there, you should say hi to Raymond the barman. He was so friendly and accommodating and he makes great cocktails!

Wonderful consumer service. It was my bday and I had had a horrible flight. The front seat staff and concierge assisted With everything. I didn't have to worry about anything, which calmed me down and allowed me to enjoy the few hours left of my birthday alone. Great job!

Stay here a couple of times a year as convenient for MIA when on transits. Had a 10 hour flight from London. Shuttle pick up good and room okay. Had dinner in the restaurant and again okay, but had a call at 11:30 pm from reception when fast asleep. Seems they wanted a signature or something, no idea really as was well away at the time, and my card is registered anyway as part of honours. Ruined my nights sleep, so thanks Hilton. Not acceptable!

I stayed one night in May on a layover. Took shuttle from MIA to hotel, Was recognized as a diamond member at check in and was upgraded to a junior suite. Fitness center was nice for a hotel that size with a view out to the pool area. Wifi in room worked well. Had breakfast buffet, which was very tasty and reasonably priced. They have a nice large pool for a hotel near an airport; and a walking/jogging paved path around the hotel. I took shuttle back to airport to catch my flight. One complaint... Read more

We stayed here in May as a stop over for a flight home to the UK. My husband is a keen plane spotter so we requested an airport facing room which did not disappoint. We stayed here one night before a flight to Jamaica. Close to the airport. The shuttle bus was easy and convenient. The rooms were clean. The bathrooms were a little bit small but clean. But hotel is a little isolated. If you don't have a car, there's no place, other than on the site (which was pricey),to go eat. But, there were a lot of places that will deliver and that was easy. I stayed here overnight en route to a conference and on the way back. Fantastic rooms...fitting of the Hilton name. Convenient free airport shuttle and good customer service. Food was fine. Walk downstairs and eat. Room service is wildly overpriced. Don't get the soup. Any soup. It's always a purée...not a soup. The $10 round trip shuttle to the Dolphin mall is an okay investment for a few hours long trip to the food court. It's not a fantastic mall but you can pick up some things there.

Stayed here quite a few times, pre- and post-cruising. Room rate is quite reasonable. Pool area is beautiful and clean and exciting- wildlife abounds - chameleons, iguanas, possum. Plenty of chairs and quite a bit of shade available. Rooms recently upgraded and quite nice. Timely airport transfers and only $30 cab ride from port. Food okay but a bit pricey. Only regret is that refrigerator for room is costly and would have been a nice addition to my stay.

My husband and I checked in here for 1 night after disembarking and cruise and before travelling onwards to the Caribbean. As we had just come from the Port of Miami, it was still early morning by the time we reached the hotel - way ahead of check in time, which is not until 3pm. We had a one-night stopover in Miami, and we did some looking around for a hotel with a pool bar, hence the reason we chose the Hilton. Unfortunately, we were disappointed when we arrived that it is only open Thursday-Saturday. Stayed there for one night in business, early Aug 2016. The check-in was efficient but note that if you are an HHonors Gold member, no lounge at this property. I had a very large & well equipped room; maybe a "European" feature, but no shaving / makeup mirror in the bathroom. Breakfast was extensive & of very good quality. However, queue for the omelette bar took about 15 mins (only one chef, working very hard!). When I commented on this, one of the servers advised that this was only a sma... Read more

Thanks to an Airline that thoroughly let us down (initials AA) we were stranded at Miami Airport at 11pm with nothing, not a thing. The hotel is perfectly located if what you want to do is catch a plane early in the morning. It has free shuttle that takes you to the airport and also picks you up. That for me is a big plus. I am gonna start with a couple of things i think the hotel should change; 1. Parking IS NOT FREE. You have to pay $17 a night in order to park your car or $20 for valet. I think its excessive. 2. Front desk agents should be a little bit nicer. Check in wasn't so bad, she answered all my questions, but c... Read more

I have stayed in several airport hotels at Miami and the Hilton is the poorest. My last stay had a daily catalogue of small but annoying failures: being left waiting for the shuttle bus for over an hour (in the Miami heat), failing to set up a Hilton Honors account properly (they used the travel agent's address instead of mine), being unable to find a Duty Manager, coffee machine in the room that didn't work properly etc. Worth a few extra bucks to stay elsewhere. This hotel has a holiday feel although it is an airport hotel located very near the airport. Generously sized rooms, nice pool area and a very nice nature trail. Good breakfast. Very easy to reach from the airport (less than 10 minutes with the shuttle).

The staff was phenomenal. Excellent stay can't wait to visit again very soon! The front desk manager was the best. Shutter service to airport was on time for departure. No complaints at all. I was a red eye flight so didn't experience much of the facility.

First the positives the health club is very nice and I had a wedge salad with chicken added onto it and it was also very good. Where the disappointment started was with me trying to iron my clothes last night there was tar on the plate of the iron and it ruined a brand-new white dress shirt and my evening shorts that I was going to wear out that night. The hotel staff told me they were sorry and gave me 15,000 points although that's probably a small consolation for the damage done to my clothes ... Read more

This is the worst Hilton I have frequented. The staff were unfriendly and the rooms were not to the quality of a Hilton. The entire location needs a makeover. I would not recommend this location for any formal or business events. In addition to the overpriced stay, we were charged an additional $15 since our room had 2 beds in it. We reserved a king bed. Our room wasn't ready so we had to pay more for the extra bed. This is absolutely insane!

Stayed for one night in November. The hotel is a stones throw from the airport. Generally clean but not many amenities. One expensive restaurant and a small outside bar. The staff were friendly enough. One negative was my bed linen which was obviously unchanged, luckily I had a twin room and was able to switch beds.

Excellent location near the airport. Rooms are nice and well kept. Great place to walk around if you have time in the evening. To bad the service in the breakfast area is horrible and they could care less if you need anything. Oh, and please put down your cell phone... Oh, never mind, I'll get it myself. Good luck getting out of the parking lot. For $17 a night for parking at least make sure the machine works to let me out. Sigh...

Stopped in here for 5 hours during the day before a long international flight home. Room was large and comfortable. Bathroom was nice and shower was fantastic. Great to have a swim and shower before leaving on our flight. Only downside was restaurant was very poor service and food very average and quite expensive.

Stayed there for 6 nights and it was a great stay! I hardly spent much time in the rooms but I got the junior suite and it was nice. Food at the coral cafe was good but way overpriced, but this is normal for hotel food in general. Lots of activity that weekend as it was during the elections, but it didn't interfere with hotel guests. It's away from downtown Miami but I would stay here again, if needed!

We arrived around 10:30pm very tired and only stayed 1 night. It's very close to the airport. Rooms were clean and comfortable, but the walls are paper thin. This property is definitely ready for a remodel. Front desk staff were aloof and unhelpful. We went to the bar area that was supposed to be open until 12 at 11:30 starved and saw people sitting around eating burgers etc. that actually looked good. Asked to order 2 and got a firm "kitchen's closed". Room service didn't look appealing t... Read more

The shuttle service to and from this excellent airport hotel is wonderful. Get a room with a balcony overlooking the lagoon with the airport in the distance. The hotel was very clean. The hamburger at the bar was the best!

I liked the cleaness of the hotel and sympathy and kindness of the staff to attend our needs. The meals were well cooked and there is a good quality in service accordingly to the price. I recommend the hotel.

Traveled with a group of 40 people and enjoyed an evening at the hotel before sailing on Celebrity the next day. Great bar, comfortable beds, free shuttle to the port, and overall a fantastic time! Even though our group was large, the hotel easily schedule shuttles to accommodate us to the port the next morning.

Stayed here for 5 nights on biz. Check in - I arrived when it was empty. At times, check in line can be long from what I observed. Diamond benefits were given. Room - booked a Jr suite and was upgraded to a Jr. Suite with a balcony in the corner. Room was large and spacious. Furniture was dated, showed wear and tear, but was clean. Breakfast - was ok. Chose the buffet option and had to pay a $5 upgrade fee. Nothing spectacular. Cons - Internet was not functional in the hotel room. It is ... Read more

Close to airport. We got upgraded to rooms that were spacious and had a great view of the water. Plenty of elevators (don't have to wait long!), pretty good gym, outdoor pool and seating is good, and the people are friendly (for the most part). However, there are some real issues that need to be pointed out: 1) The card system for getting your car in and out thru the parking gate ($17/night) is horrible. After being assured 3 times, each time my card would not work which required me to continuou... Read more

I stayed at Hilton during a business trip for 4 days. The night I arrived I wanted to iron my clothes, but the ironer was defect and made a hole in my shirt. Instead of excusing and giving me a compensation, the staff told me that the ironer was to hot. When I tried with a different ironer on the ruined shirt, with the same level of heat, nothing happened. Hmm... 2 days into my stay, I bought different kinds of beverages and put them in a plastic bag in my room. The maid threw them out. I compla... Read more

Our room was large with a nice view of the lagoon. On the other hand the furniture is very tired. The chair had a button hanging out of it on a thread. Not Hilton quality. They really need to upgrade their television system to include choices in information, movies and check out. However the service was very good, in particular with Mary in the bars. Thank you Mary. No problem with airplane noise.

We were only here one night, but this was a beautiful hotel. We were upgraded at check In to a large room with a view of the lagoon area. The view was spectacular and we enjoyed the hotel room service. We stayed here prior to a cruise out of The port of Miami and it was a quick 20 minute cab ride to the pier. Don't use the hotel shuttle to the pier or a taxi. Uber was about 1/2 the price.

Hotel was clean, asked for a crib on reservation, but had no crib on my room. Asked the concierge to put a crib on the room and it took like an hour to get the crib. Crib was delivered without any bed linen and was told that by security reasons cribs woulda be fitted with bed linen. Took one shed from my bed to fit my one year old baby....
