"Hotel is beautiful, staff is great, good location, no major complaints. Our room was located literally right in front of the elevator so it got a little noisy from about midnight until 3 am but that's it. I'd stay here again."

"love the room kinda small but very nice and clean the front desk workers was very mean beside one gentleman but the young lady was very rude and unprofessional. the ballman was very nice. didnt like the facr that we had to pay for resort fees when we had to walk to another hotel they own and they didnt have there umbrallas was not out. also we tried to make resveration for the resturant i thought we shouldve gotta first resverations if we were staying there i guess not so we had to go to prime 112 The rooms have this mood lighting that is very flattering. Definitely pick this place if you're traveling with a special someone haha. Butttttttt, the flip side of that is that the lights are freaking useless for practical things like putting on makeup or trying to accurately judge how your outfit looks. Depends on your priorities, lol.

"We loved our stay at The Gale. The location is spectacular as is the rooftop pool! The decor of the rooms is wonderful; everything black and white with old photos. The staff was very friendly and super attractive; lots of eye candy for singles. We didn't know about the $25 service charge ahead of time, but it wasn't so bad considering we had chairs and towels at the beach across the street and $15 toward drinks or food that we probably would have had anyway. Just wish it would apply to the mini-bar too. Absolutely loved our stay there!"

"Overall, The Gale was pretty cool. Great location, really pretty/unique rooms/art, and very clean. But don't be naive enough to expect you'll get out of there without paying extra fees. I'm not judging The Gale too harshly because I feel like that's just how it goes in Miami... it's a city where overpriced everything and extra fees are the norm and I'm sure all the hotels do the same thing.

Just letting 'yall know: $25 daily service charge, no free parking (so that's another $25-45 per night), plus their minibar situation is crazy. Apparently they have sensors in the doors that can tell when people shift/remove items and automatically charge fees to the room. So anyone setting aside the minibar items in order to chill their own liquor/juice gets charged. We didn't consume any items, but were in and out of the fridge a lot. Ended up having to dispute $118 in fridge sensor fees on checkout, lol.

P.S. The rooms have this mood lighting that is very flattering. Definitely pick this place if you're traveling with a special someone haha.
