The location wasn't great, as I expected a beach. Other than that, the hotel was nice and clean, the staff was friendly, and the free alcohol for 2 hrs a night was awesome! We had a great stay, and would revisit :)

The hotel is beautiful, especially the breakfast area. The staff are very gracious but responding to service, like a improperly functioning TV, is lacking. That was the only thing that marred my experience at the Miami airport location.

Great location, delightful stay. The only down side was the flooded parking lot after a rain storm that happened early in the morning. Folks park in the main lot when they leave for a trip and it tends to leave nightly guests parking in the out parcels. Love the hotel and this is THE only downside to this facility.

I have stayed at this Hotel many times but it had been three years since my last stay. The hotel has been refreshed since my last stay. The short toilets have even been replaced with modern high toilets. Not only has the hotel improved, every staff member seemed to want to exceed your expectations. I stayed 2 different nights six days apart and experienced the excellent staff on both stays. It is a great location for a pre-cruise stay.

Recently stayed one night prior to my early morning flight out. Parking is busy and expensive. I believe they rent out space for airport parking and probably contribute to the lack of space, especailly when you arrive late. Rooms are a bit dated but clean. The biggest problem is the the noise from the run way behind the hotel. I guess that's the problem and convenience with a hotel so close to the airport, but sound proofing is really nonexistent here. We recently stayed at this Embassy Suites prior to a morning flight out of Miami International Airport, because the rate was very good for Miami, and we wouldn't need to fight morning traffic to get to the airport. Arriving the night before was very disconcerting. Parking was very, very tight; they must rent out parking for the airport. But the big shock was the deafening noise from the jets taking off very close to the room. I suppose we should have expected it; after checking in we looked ... Read more

This is the second stay at this location, and it isn't on par with the rest of the chain. The managers reception party and transfer to the port/dock though make it a good option for pre-cruisers, but I don't think I would choose the location for much else. Parking is extremely limited too.

Poor service, manager does not care about the guest. Smoke free room very smoky. Staff not willing to help. Young lady at the front desk on check in was very nice. After check in things went down. The staff at the buffet closed the drink door on a lady that was getting a drink, rude.

This is a very nice and clean hotel. The rooms could use a bit of remodeling. Beautiful atrium with plenty of places to sit. The made to order breakfast was great. The hotel is a little hard to get too after exiting the interstate. There are plenty of local restaurants a short drive away. I would recommend this hotel for business or pleasure.

The staff certainly deserves a 5 star rating. They remembered and called me by my name and made me feel like a real guest in their own home. They take pride in what they do, and it shows. I was happy to stay here for 2 nights on business. The property itself is pretty nice too. The managers reception every night is great! I was shocked at the number of choices they had for drinks!

I stayed here for one night for business. My room was very big, but a little dated - lots of dark wood and all the rooms have windows overlooking the hallway of the hotel which I find a bit odd! The atrium is beautiful - lots of plants, water features and they had a complimentary happy hour at 5pm with music, drinks and some basic canapes which was nice. Dinner in the restaurant was good, although I thought the choice was very limited. Would stay here again for a Miami airport visit.

I am a Hilton fan. I chose this location based on the proximity to the airport and a late night arrival into Miami. Shuttle was easy to locate and runs every 30 mins. Room was fairly standard for Embassy Suites. Breakfast was good. S Hotel store manager was very helpful with a phone charger. A shuttle is available from the hotel to the cruise terminal. It is operated by an outside vendor. It was $10 per person.

I am forever ruined when it comes to continental breakfasts as no place will ever be able to top this. The omelets are made fresh in front you along with other hot and ready options. The pool was beautiful, shady and quiet. Apparently there is a complementary "happy hour" beginning at 5pm which I was unfortunately unable to attend but it looked appealing. Great location in proximity to the Norwegian Cruise line Port. Check in was very slow. The rooms are nice and hotels outward appearance is good. We waited 1.5 hours for our room. When we got to our room it smelled terrible...even the fan and ac don't help. Free 'evening reception' is pretzels and two day old veggies and VERY crowded! Breakfast was 'ok' until a fly landed in my daughter's eggs. The restaurant was actually nice but over priced and they add the 15% tip for you. Staff are very nice and the courtyard is lovely. Our family of 5 had just finished a cruise on the NCL Sky. We had a late flight leaving at 9:00 pm. We decided that with two boys 11 & 8 we did not want to do an excursion in Miami. We decided that a nice hotel with a pool and a place to rest would be best. The logistics of leaving the cruise ship at 9:30 am and arriving at the airport around 5:00 was difficult. As a Hilton Honor member I called Hilton and discussed how to accomplish this stay. The gentleman that I worked with was very helpful. ... Read more

I asked a housekeeper, where the bathroom was and came to find out that she doesn't speak any English whatsoever. But I have never stayed anywhere, not even sketchy beach motel, where I lifted my pillow to have a roach scurry out. What a way to wake up in the morning. We had a short stay between flying in to MIA and leaving on a cruise. This is a normal Embassy Suites hotel, which means huge rooms and solid breakfast at a great price. Proximity to the airport is convenient, but also means the surroundings are not very exciting. Also, if you are easily bothered by noise, you will likely benefit from a room that's not facing the airport runways and the rail tracks that run behind the hotel.

The suite was very comfortable and the gym was very nice. Breakfast was great. The shuttle service to the port was fast and only $10 per person. I definitely plan to stay at the Embassy Suites again.

Airport Pickup was very good. Hotel rooms are tired, mattresses are very soft/worn out. Bedside light switches did not work,....had to turn bulbs out because you couldn't use lamp switch. Coffeemaker didn't work. Asked for wakeup call...did not receive wakeup call .....woke up 30 minutes late. Breakfast was very good!

Soothing waterfall calms the senses in the lobby of this Embassy Suites near Miami International Airport. The staff went out of their way to accommodate our group of 17 travelers on a quick layover. They made sure the restaurant and bar stayed open late for our 10:00 pm arrival. They cleared space in their freezer to keep some perishable items we needed kept cold. Everyone had a "can do" attitude. The restaurant was a bit overpriced ($15 for a hamburger), but that could just be Miami price... Read more

They didn't have a swimming pool or jacuzzi, no sir condition in the room the first night. The shuttle was not running because the company that drives for embassy Suites quit the day before. This was my first bad experience with Embassy Suites

The rate was very reasonable given the area it is in. The room was well worth the money. The staff was very friendly. The amenities were great. Just a good choice to stay at if you are in the area for either work or a family vacation.

I've stayed at many Hilton hotels and this by far the most disappointing.one. I stayed during the Veterans Day weekend, and maybe this just wasn't their weekend to shine. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. However, I had to ask for a roll of toilet tissue because the housekeeping staff didn't put any in the room. There wasn't a spare roll under the cabinet, and nothing in the closet. Then I had to ask for face towels, because once again, the housekeeping staff didn't leave any. ... Read more

Arrived on 5th November prior to a cruise with Princess Cruises the next day.The courtesy bus took ages to depart then a long queue to check in. After finally getting the key cards and travelling to 10th floor the cards did not work in a loose fitting lock.Back to reception where a not so friendly receptionist did send us an engineer to get us into the room. Once inside the room was very tired could do with a complete refit. Breakfast was very mediocre. Princess Cruises arrange this Hotel befor... Read more

We went here during my nephew's wedding prep days about 4 years ago, loved it and chose to come back last month. The hotel itself is still very pretty inside, the cooked to order breakfast wonderful and Teresa (morning hostess as one of her jobs) very personable and attentive to all guests, and very convenient to the Miami international airport. We had the executive 2 room suite which was quite comfortable for 4 adults, as far as space. The drawback this time however was that the room was ver... Read more

Embassy Suites just isn't what it used to be. The past two we stayed in, especially the Miami airport location, have been old and completely outdated. The breakfast which used to have some buffet items, are now a line to get even scrambled eggs. Not just a line though, TWO lines 30 deep going each way. Guess they wanted to skimp and be in control of everyone's portions on potatoes and eggs. I'd rather pay more (and absolutely will in the future) than stay at this place. If you love the sound o... I have often visited this hotel in the past and have enjoyed staying here. On this recent trip in November I was very disappointed. 1. The hotel boasts of a free shuttle service every half hour. We waited almost an hour for the bus to arrive at the airport. The bus was not their regular transport and did not even have a proper sign visible. 2. The check in was slow 3. Our requested room was unavailable even though we has checked it on line earlier. 4. The door of the room looked like it was brok... Read more

We got of our cruise this morning. Arrived around 10am and had requested a early check in but this was not possible. They were good with this though allowing us to store our bags whilst we sat and had a coffee and used the free wifi. Our room was ready at 12-30. Great we thought but that was where it ended. We got to our room and both keys would not unlock the door so back down we go. They redo them and they work. We booked a premium room advertised on the web site as having "Refreshment center... Overall a decent stay - Recommend getting rooms away from the elevators. Great evening reception - Van drivers are professional. There are no restaurants close to this hotel, so you will need to dine on $15.95 cheese burgers, or other limited menu items - The food was good, just expensive. Evening reception was drinks, and light bar snacks

We stayed here overnight after our flight from Heathrow to Miami before picking up our cruise ship (Regal Princess) the next day. We were given a room on the 5th floor. The rooms are laid out surrounding an inner courtyard with a lovely waterfall and huge fish pond. There are lifts on two of the sides of the courtyard serving the higher floors and unfortunately one side was not working so it proved a long wait to get the lift up and down. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and our ... Read more

The airport transport left us standing outside the hotel with our luggage. It was very obvious that we were waiting for transport. We also told the receptionist this but we were still left waiting. We had to make a big clamour before the manager intervened and authorized the use of the hotel bus to take us to the airport.

Stayed here for one night pre cruise, the check in was very efficient and we were in our room within minutes. The room turned out to be a suite with a separate lounge and a very large bedroom, two TVs and a good size bathroom. There was also a free buffet breakfast, the quality of food was good. Apparently there was a welcome party for all new quests with free nibbles and drinks, but we arrived to late for this. I would certainly recommend this hotel as it is only about a ten minute transfer... Read more

From the lack of necessity to attend to reasonable room requests to a malfunctioning television and inoperable outlets, this hotel is definitely not worth the price. The one redeeming quality is that you can park your vehicle long term.

This property has major problems. I tried for 45+ minutes to call the property directly only to learn that their phone system was not working and forwarding all call to a central Hilton number. We stayed at Embassy Suites as part of a pre-cruise deal. As such it was okay, but not a place where you'd like to spend a week, nor is it a hotel I'd have chosen myself. All rooms are on open walk-ways surrounding the atrium and we tried and tried to get into ours, but had to admit defeat and return several floors to reception to find we'd been given a wrong key and it was occupied. Our room was fine, it was very extremely clean and comfortable, with a really comfy bed - but the furnishings... Read more

Was not thrilled how the breakfast was set up and lines were way too long, skipped breakfast the second morning. Bathroom is located in the bedroom instead of outside the bedroom so other people can have easy access. Room was not cleaned the first morning, left room at 12 noon, should have been cleaned. Had to ask for towels and toilet paper at 11 p.m. that night, which they were very accommodating. Parking was a joke, every spot if it did not have construction was for gold or diamond. Not ... love the breakfast in the morning, other breakfast places are bit far, so good to have it at the hotel. you will always get the parking spot. maybe I went in November, that is why there is alway parking spot available, not sure about summer. Fish pond is very pleasant, Swimming pool was closed due to maintenance. airport was nearby that is plus point, but sometimes the noise from the airport maybe wake you up from the sleep.
