This hotel has everything to make it a really nice one - except their poor housekeeping. Let me start with what I liked about it: The room decor is nice and modern. Bathroom is nice, showers have really strong pressure. Beds are comfortable, air-conditioning is nice and cool. They nailed the basics here. What needs work: (1) Housekeeping is poor. My bedsheets were not even changed from the previous guest. They were all crumpled and looked like someone has slept on it. The housekeeping staff must... Read more

I stayed two nights at this hotel because they have free airport shuttle. I had one bedroom with the full kitchen. The whole building is like an apartment building. When I arrived Miami airport, I waited almost half an hour and no shuttle. I saw other hotels shuttle bus pass by twice, so I called hotel front desk. They assured me the shuttle is coming. I called again after another 15 minutes, this time they told me that their shuttle doesn't pick up from arrival level! I have to go up to the dep... Read more

Stayed here night before leaving on a cruise, but would not stay again. The positive note is shuttle driver was great? Front desk staff this morning was helpful and friendly. Now the bad. No restaurants close by and food was horrible. The dining staff could not keep track of orders. The room was very worn. In the bed room there were no outlets by the night stands at all. Front desk staff was slow and mediocre at best. Did not feel like it was part of SPG family of hotels.

Free shuttle from airport which was handy, not really a room but small apartment with actually nice design. the corridors are dark and look sort of recycled but it's Eco friendly hotel so understandable. swimming pool, open space in lobby, 24/7 shop . to stay over was good . 1 down side was the reception , staff friendly how ever for the amount of rooms not enough stations. checking in was long then expected. but likely to return when visiting Miami over night .

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a weekend. I think the location is great because you are quite close to the airport. Beside this.... the rooms has a ecological touch which is very atractive because its design is too original. Inside the room you can find all the stuff that you need for prepare a coffe, tea, or cook something quickly on the microwave. The bathroom is great, comfortable space, lights. I recommend this place... it is worthy of your money

The other hotel we wanted was sold out. We tried Element because it was close to the airport, malls and some shopping locations and due to the reviews we saw online. I really like the place, its clean and spacious. The room is like a small appartment, with the bedroom separated. They have a walk in shower, which i love, and a kitchen with all the necessary appliance. Recycling bins in the room. As others mentioned, staff is not attentive, we needed our shower soap refilled. This was my first stay in an Element property. My son, a friend and I were in the Miami area for a fishing trip and wanted somewhere nice to stay at a reasonable price that was convenient to the Miami Beach marina. The hotel seems brand new. Clean, large rooms and very comfortable. It's right next to the Miami International Airport. Rate was $90. Breakfast is included in the morning. I recommend it. My last day I moved over to the Element in Doral to be closer to the client site. 1 mile versus 9 miles. Both hotels awesome.

This hotel is beautiful! Everything was clean and amazing! Check in was simple, the offered free shuttle within 3km, breakfast and happy hour. We used Uber to go to South Beach(nice and cheap). The only complaint I have was that the lobby was FAR TOO COLD!!! I understand it was warm outside but I just came from Canada....:) If the air was a bit warmer in the lobby sitting areas that would have made it PERFECT!!!

The rooms are very pretty and comfortable- the garden and pool area are modern and clean- even the breakfast was tasty. Sadly, the poor shuttle service started our visit off badly as we waited 1 hour and ten minutes for the van at the airport, jet lagged and ready to relax. We called the hotel 4 times and they said we must have missed it, the group next to us was also waiting all this time. Rooms were roomy and nice. If you need to be close to the airport, it's fabulous, otherwise, it's noisy from the planes and not in a nice area. Don't order from the restaurant - food is not very good and expensive. I think you can get food delivered. Nice staff and child friendly. Worth the money.

This hotel is a blemish on the "Westin" brand. The Element hotel may be "by Westin"... but the experience is nothing like you would expect from a Westin property. Summary: Rude shuttle drivers, dingy environment, under-staffed maintenance, industrial neighborhood I've been a frequent traveler for 30 years, and have stayed in about 1000 hotels, from budget to luxurious, all over the US and many points around the world. Our recent stay at this hotel was very disappointing. The hotel is located in a desolate industrial section near the Miami Airport. Iron fences and gates surround the hotel making it fairly safe for a poor area. Check-in was pretty quick and straightforward but then things got weird. The hotel has a very nice style, rooms are very comfortable and the lobby is well furnished of everything from a snack bar to the breakfast buffet! Room was clean and 'green'. However, due to the low ceilings, the supposedly 620 sq ft room seemed very tiny / poorly laid out. The breakfast is NOT a full hot breakfast as advertised. I checked in with no problems, the front desk clerk was very friendly, she just wasn't on point about the airport shuttle. My room was very clean and there were no issues.I would stay there anytime I travel to Miami. Loved my stay

What a surprise! I loved this hotel and can't wait to come back. The parking lot is gated so it feels very secure here. The rooms are nice & spacious - my husband said it's like a mini house. All rooms are like suites with a kitchenette. The showers are nice too, big with option of rain shower or spray shower. The best thing is that it's close to the airport!

We flew in and had an overnight layover. This was close by and was reasonably priced. Airport shuttle service was helpful and even accommodated our trip to a local restaurant. Check-in was simple and the property is gated. Our room was a newer style-eco friendly type with a euro look. It did have a full size refrigerator and mini kitchen and large bathroom. The complimentary morning breakfast bar was ok. Biggest complaint was no fresh fruit offered and the coffee was freaking PUTRID! No ... Read more

American Airlines put us up here after we missed our connection. It was just lovely! Nice outdoor heated pool, large modern room with modern bath, excellent airport shuttle. The complimentary morning breakfast included hot ham and cheese or egg white and spinach sandwiches. It was an incredibly comfortable 24 hours.
