"We stayed during the Food and Wine Festival. Location was perfect (less than a block from the event). We asked for a quiet room and got one (facing an interior courtyard, so a bit dark). Room was large and well appointed. Staff was friendly and efficient. Only complaint was water pressure on the shower was bad. Would stay again."

"Great view of the ocean from our room and the rooftop where breakfast and afternoon wine is served. Staff is very helpful, friendly and eager to please. Room was clean and since this is a recently done hotel the furnishings are sleek and new. My husband and I were quite pleased with our 3 night stay."

"Unfortunately, I was a bit under the weather for most of my vacation, but that caused me to spend a lot of time in our room. It was clean, comfortable, and the room looked JUST as we expected it to. The happy hour every night was great to start the evening (the wine and beer were better than we expected), and the light breakfast each morning was perfect.

The ONLY thing I wish we'd had was a beach umbrella...we weren't interested in frying ourselves out there. But other than that, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay at the Edgewater again."

"Seeing how this facility was brand new we were a bit worried about how everything would go down...we figured either good or bad. As soon as we stepped out of the cab we were immediately welcomed by a staff member to help with our luggage. Everyone in the place was super friendly and the place was extremely clean. Our room was fabulous!!! We loved the 'spoil me package' where it includes free wi-fi, free beer and wine on the rooftop terrace for an hour out of the evening, ect ect. We are already planning our next vacation to stay there again. The location can't get much better than this! "

"The Edgewater Hotel was AMAZING! The staff was friendly, I booked a Deluxe Studio but got a One bedroom Suite w/ 2 full baths - there was a sleeper sofa in the living room (with an ocean view). The rooms were huge with a kitchenette! I did see the Deluxe Studio and that room was huge as well.....I would have been just as happy in there! You don't find too many hotels in that area, under $200/ night as nice as this place. The bed and pillows were soooo comfortable, I could have stayed in it all day. I'll definitely go back and hopefully get to stay longer."

"This is a perfect little place right in the center of ocean drive. We liked the location. It was directly across the beach. The $18/day resort fees covers for unlimited use of beach chairs, beach towels. The hotel also provides complimentary breakfast from 7am - 10am, as well as daily happy hour between 6pm - 7pm (beer, wine, and peanuts). We stayed in a one BR suite. Very large suite with a separate living area with 5.1 surround sound system. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. However, sound proofing between the rooms is lacking and should be improved. The hotel guests next door came in very late and decided to play music loud, we reported that to the front desk right away and they immediately took care of it with the next door guests. The front desk was very responsive and understood our problem."

"I HAD A BLAST THIS LABOR DAY WEEKEND IN MIAMI. Edgewater was more than I expected. Extremely welcoming, and comfortable hotel. Right in front of the beach and a couple blocks from all the bars. I will definitely stay with Edgewater again. THANKS AGAIN>"

"I have to say I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at the Edgewater Suites in South Beach, I'm always a little skeptical when booking hotels online because you never really know what you're getting until you arrive espeically when the hotel isn't a large chain hotel, the Edgewater Suites is a great hotel located in the heart of Ocean Drive , the beach is directly across the street, nothing like a strol along the beach in the morining, a variety of restuarants and shops are located within walking distance, the only downfall is parking, the hotel has valet parking at $35 per day, there's a lot located about a block away for $20, you have to pay for parking pretty much everywhere you go which can be pretty costly, other then that it was awesome, the hotel was very clean, and has a great friendly staff that are very responsive to your needs. I would definitely recommend the Edgewater Suites."

"Just arrived back home from our vacation in Miami. Stayed here for 3 nights. The staff are excellent nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are in very fine order however the hotel is still being finished. I would deff stay here again! Breakfast is a little un organasied at the mo and is self service in the lobby however once the bar and dining facilities are complete im sure this will be great. Wonderful roof top terrace with direct ocean views and complementary cocktails and snacks served from 17.30pm to 18.30pm. Very peaceful location on Ocean Drive mins from the action."
