I come to this place almost once a year with my friends and we enjoy ourselves. The hotel rooms are nice, gives u a feel of home, spacious and clean but this time around I had unwanted guest (roaches).

All I wanted was a normal hotel room and I got an "upgraded" condo with a full kitchen. The floor carpet was dirty and gross. The room smelled musty and the lights kept flickering and making noises. Just gross. The staff was so rude and I'm severely disappointed in this hotel. Given the price I would of expected better.

One of the things i really enjoy in this hotel besides the view was the huge rooms. It was so comfortable to stay there and really clean hotel. Gym was also really good. 10 minutes away from ocean drive road but still a lot of restaurants in the area and a small shopping mall in the marina closed by.

You wont believe the amount of convenience this hotel has. There's a whole mall underneath it with all kinds of shops.

Our trip started with a pre-arrival text by the team who them ensured we would be able to check in early. Upon arrival we had a warm greeting and were given delicious, warm cookies. The check in took a few minutes and then we went to our beautiful bay front room. The concierge staff was very helpful and gave up tons of great ideas and tips.

I had to make a decision on choosing a hotel in Miami for our movie shoot that can accommodate cast and crew under one roof and after going thru every hotel; we found Doubletree Grand to be the most courteous, best location and accommodating to a very demanding requirement for the hospitality of over 100 crew members. Doubletree Grand made us feel home away from home.

The hotel is amazing it has everything you need under one roof. So well located in terms of getting about. More importantly the best staff you could wish - a great gym, pristinely clean. The Condo we had had the most beautiful views of the bay and we sat out most of the time dreaming. I would so recommend the Hotel - almost forgot a wonderful salon and a supermarket within walking distance - what more could you ask for.

Stayed 1 night in July following a cruise. Having spent a week on a beautiful cruise ship it was a bit a thud back down to earth arriving at this hotel. The reception staff were very unfriendly and unhelpful. We had booked one of the largest suites with sweeping views but on arrival were told that we had been "upgraded" to a condo apartment. The condo was huge but dreary & depressing. The decor was something from a museum. The view was into apartments opposite us. This was not an upgrade to be... Read more

We came into Miami a day early for our cruise, and chose the Doubletree Grand on Biscayne Blvd. We flew into Fort Lauderdale, and it was an easy 20 minute ride from the airport to the hotel. Check in was smooth. There is valet parking only, and I thought the $30 per day was a bit much. The valet was very accommodating so that made up for it. We had him getting the car a few times the day we were there. The room was spacious and very nicely appointed. Lovely view of the bay. Granted we were ... Read more

The hotel was undergoing renovations. Had I been advised of that, I probably would have picked a different hotel. Nevertheless, the hotel staff is excellent, very polite and service oriented. The beds, however, are a different story. Hard and unyielding - to say the least, sleep was extremely difficult and restful sleep was a dream that was not to come true that night. All in all, a disappointing experience.

This hotel had really, really large rooms (tile floors) with great bay views. It's located in a building that also houses condos and some retail. I thought it was a great value for the money - but I will not it's quite a hike from the elevator to the side of the hotel facing the bay if you request a room with a view.
