"Excellent location - however...still only one working elevator, restrooms in the lobby are closed, bed was hard and appeared very old. No hand towels, just a large bath towel. $80 made it the best price in the area. Stayed the night before a cruise. Would stay again, just don't expect much for your $$."

"My trip to Miami was very nice, the location of the hotel and the view outside from the room is a 5, although if you're going to stay a few days you like to be comfortable. Walking in the room was shocking the bed look like it needed to be thrown out, the floor was very nasty and the carpet needed to be taken up, the tv was so small and only had 5 channels, one with no sound and I dont speak spanish so only 2 were with english. The sheets were not changed the whole 4 days and every night I itched when lying down and I made sure I had on shoes and didn't touch the carpet with my feet because you don't know what is lurking in the carpet on the last night the bed wasnt made up just thrown up over the pillows with most of the blanket on the floor on one side touching the nasty floor. I asked for a wake up call at 5:30 for my pick up at 6:30 and thank goodness I set my cell phone just in case because my wake up call came at 5:58 and when going down to meet my shuttle for my one day cruise the elevator never came and I had to take the stairs and the smell of urine like your in a back alley overwhelmed you I would never stay again. BUT ON A GOOD NOTE THE STAFF IS NICE AT THE FRONT DESK AND THE PERSON THAT BOOKS YOUR EXCURSIONS excluding the incident with the wake up call."

"I don't know where you got these pictures from, but they completely misleading!!! This is an awful hotel that smells like cigar everywhere, the place is gloomy, they only provide you with 1 medium size towel per person, you gotta ask for toilet paper almost daily, our bath tub was unstable and when you stepped in, it felt like it was going to cave in! The plumbing is old, no cable tv, a non~working remote control, nasty thin bed linen (I am sure inmates get better sheets!) Oh yeah, one slow-working elevator that stopped working twice, including the day we left... we had to haul five pieces of heavy luggage down 5 flights of stairs with no one available to assist us, except for a kind tourist tha unfortunately fell down the stairs with our luggage in tow & injured his ankle! The lady at the desk saw the incident and completely ignored it as she kept typing!! Staff... they r bilingual...eh! Only good thing about this dump...location. for $90 per night, it was a complete rip off. I felt like I was in a foreign country in this hotel... nothing American about it!!"

"For the price & location, I'd highly recommend this hotel. Facilities in the room are acceptable though I wished there were more cable channels. IThe air-con jump-started every 20 minutes but luckily, I'm not a light sleeper. My room was cleaned daily & fresh towels made available. However, during my stay, one of the 2 elevators was under maintenance so it's a bummer waiting for one elevator that's serving 17 levels. I stayed on the 14th level. The staff are friendly & helpful. The transportation around the hotel is really convenient & the popular Bayside Marketplace is just across the street. Many eateries can be found behind the hotel. If I return to Miami, I will definitely stay at this hotel again."

"Despite the bad reviews I took a chance on this hotel cos it was cheaper than the average hotel. It was great, yes the room looked old and the bed cover looked worn out but it was clean, NO bed bugs, the room was huge and clean. The bathroom was clean and working fine, the bathtub looked a bit dirty but was actually clean just had some marks or stains. The shower curtains had some stains but who cares, it was clean. I am very happy with the hotel stay, the guy at the reception with the glasses was a nice man, i ordered something to be shipped to the hotel and it arrived! The internet works in lobby but wish it did in my room. Location is great, its near the American airlines arena, like 2 minute walk. Buses are close and the bayside market was awesome!"
