"The whole trip was excellent. The food and drinks were great. The room was great. The clubs were amazing. The beach was great. Wrestlemania was great. The only complaint I have is the was the organized access into the hotel at night. There was a long line to the clubs that the hotel guests had to push through every time and we had to show a room key and ID to get in. Why that would matter what age we are if we have a room there, I do not know. We almost never took the elevator b/c there was always a long line to wait for their one elevator that both hotel guest and people going to the hotels party both used. This problem can be easily fixed by better managent. Other then that I have no complaints, I would return on another trip. It was an excellent short vacation."

"I booked the room for my teenage daughter and I. When we checked in we discovered the occupants of the Clevelander needed to be 21 or older. They sent us to their 'sister' hotel, The Essex. I did not know the availability of other hotels around, so reluctantly stayed there, signing a contract that I would lose $50 a night if I cancelled my reservations. The Essex was nice and convenient with friendly hotel staff. After I got home, I looked up the Essex Hotel, and the rate was about $30 less than the Clevenander per night. Since I pre-paid, and did not have the opportunity to look at other hotels / prices, I was disappointed with the experience. I've been to many beach resorts, and South Beach was not what we expected."

"My reservation got bundled and cancelled, fault was undetermined between booking company and original hotel. However, the first hotel I had reservations at was a very beautiful hotel located right on the beach. I thought it would be hard to beat, however, after the booking company amended my reservations, they sent me to another hotel called the Clevelander. The first hotel I would rate as a 8 or 9. This new one was a 18 or 19. It was 10 times the hotel the first one was. I would definitely stay there again. Staff was exceptional and very caring to my unfortunate situation. I recommend this hotel very highly to anyone. Very Clean, very tropical, beach was right across the street. Good food, service, and night life! I will be staying there again when I go back. No reason for me to stay anywhere else."
