"I was initially concerned about the reviews i read but decided to stay anyway -- First the staff of the motel were all very nice, very friendly and helpful. The next best thing about the hotel was the great location, free happy hour but somewhat limited in the drinks that they offered. The beds were quite nice temperpedic and the room was quite because I asked to stay toward the rear of the hotel....The free shuttle to and from the airport was great. The rooftop pool and sun beds were the highlight of the trip....
The worst thing about the hotel is that it suffers from being an old beach hotel, not well kept up -- places in the room need paint, the floor creaked and the granite and tile work were generally poorly done, the halls were dark and had poor ventilation.(smelled). Also my wife freaked out when she saw two roaches....
I loved South Beach and Miami but i would probably look to stay somewhere else. There were a few that were compareably priced hotels but were right on the beach. Having said all the above -- we still had a wonderful time......."

"The staff is super attentive and friendly; were helped with our luggages and the doors were always opened for us. You get to relax by one of the two pools. If you want to go to the beach (which is right across the street) you get free beach towels and lounge chairs. The food is very tasty; there's a happy hour between 7-8 and drinks are free. My husband and I were not ready to check out at 11am and we had no problems to extend our check out to 12pm. Highly recommended:)"

"The hotel was great! It rained for half my stay but their bar was just like being in a club and their restaurants decent. So the weather didn't completely ruin my trip. The hotel had a pool party the day before i left and that was great. This hotel is definitely a party hotel. Not for family or people looking for peace and quite."
