"I think the hotel is in the most perfect location. Right in the heart of ocean drive. My one bedroom apt was amazing ! Full kitchen, living room and dining room....At first I felt the front desk guy was a little rude until the second day when I lost my valet ticket and he went out of his way to please me and find my car. Even dough I had totally forgot I had the ticket in my pocket. he never got upset and at me and we even started cracking jokes. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO EVERYONE... LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION !!!!!"

"so a good thing, and the price was definitely reasonable. Beds were comfortable, the room clean and not too small. However, 'customer service' is not an option; there were no towels in the room and as the phone didn't work, I waited the 5 minutes it took the (only) elevator to arrive and take me back to the desk (there's NO lobby), I was told the towels were being laundered and why did i need one right away anyway?! After i explained it would have been nice to be able to dry my hands after washing them, the woman behind the desk back-petalled and said, 'oh, there are no towels at all...ummm we'll get some to you soon...' Similarly, the next morning we asked if there was info we weren't given to get wireless and were told 'no, you must be doing it wrong because it always works.' Great, thanks for your help...."

"They seem very unprofessional. Our check-in time was at 4pm and that is what time we checked in. They said it should take 10-15 min more to clean. We ended up waiting over an hour in their lobby while they cleaned. Horrible. When we finally got to our room, it was very spacious, but not so clean. Very outdated and dirty bathroom and kitchen. The only thing good about this place was that it was very convenient to get around. Other then that this was a horrible place to stay at."

"What a great time! We had a wonderful 2 night stay at the Casa Grande Suite Hotel in SoBe (South Beach). The rooms were a great size and every room has a full kitchenette (fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave) which def helps as it can get expensive when paying for all 3 meals a day. The hotel is right across from the beach and is located on Ocean Drive. After walking around for hours I found that this was the perfect location. MIami goes most of the night so it can get loud. We didn't have a problem sleeping at all, but can see how some would. There is a resort fee per room per day which is $25.00 this covers beach towels, chairs, coffee, cookies and the most delicious oranges. There is no way around the fee and most of the hotels charge this fee. Parking was $25.00 a day and you could call the front desk to get your car delivered 24 hours a day. To park on the street is $1.75 which works out to more. I am sure we could have walked a few blocks and found something cheaper but we were fine with the convenience. The staff at this hotel are wonderful and I would like to thank them for a great experience in South Beach. There will be a bunch of is returning next year :) CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!"

"I walked into the lobby and the front counter person was not friendly or helpful. He was very short and rude. The Casa Grande restaurant was over priced and food lacked taste. The only good thing I can say about the Casa grande hotel is the room was nice and spacious."

"My review is mixed for this hotel. The rehabed room (505) was very nice, although it was strangely designed with a lot of empty space, the TV not viewable from the living space and no lighting in the bed area. Having the kitchen was very helpful. The actual operation of the hotel is where my review goes downhill. First, our room never got made up (we were there two nights). The excuse given was that someone called in sick. Really? One person calling in sick throws off the entire housekeeping arrangement? Then there was the first day when we left our room and the elevator never came, so we hoofed it down the five flights. The elevator was sitting on the first floor, dark. The counter person said they turned it off because it was really windy outside. What? When I mentioned it to the manager that night, they said that the elevator had been broken and had been serviced during the day. I mentioned the story the first person gave me, and they said that wasn't the case. OK, so who's lying, and why? And why no signs on each floor to say that the elevator is out. Bottom line, the price is good for a hotel in a great location. You just have to expect some whacky, inconsistent service."

"They say they have the cheapest rooms, but a lot of hidden cost. You pay $25/ day for coffee and oranges in the morning, non negotiable. Plus the website says they have parking , but it is $25 / day. The room next to us was being worked on during the day so no napping before going out. Then got woke up by screaming kids upstairs and honking horns from the street. The room was not very clean and the smell of pot filled the room. I will not recommend or go back. The restaurant by the hotel charges $45 for a drink. Fyi"

"My stay at Casa Grande was good. I would had rated it great but three things happened that I was unhappy about. These three things were, being charged $80 for a chair that my husband and I was accused of breaking, which we didn't. The way we was greeted when we first checked in was totally different from the way we checked out. lastly, The chair that we was accused of breaking was taken out of our room 'when we wasn't in the room!!! They didn't show us what this chair looked like or where it was broken. We was only asked if we knew about a broken chair in our room, which we didn't because housekeeping reported it. This chair could've been broken before we got there. Furthermore, I refused to sign my checkout receipt which wasn't a problem but, when asked to speak to the manager or the person that checked us in and was the person whom asked us about the broken chair. I saw him plenty of times through out our stay. I also asked him if the issue with the broken chair was taken care of and he said he will talk to me. The morning of check out he was no where to be found. Really!!!!!!! I couldn't stayed and wait around for the both of them to show up to work that day because I had to be at the airport at 4am. I was given a card and was told to try and contact them when I get back to NY. I have been back since Monday and still has not heard from the clerk or the manager. Apparently the clerk hasn't been back to work since the morning I checked out and the manager who apparently is the only manager is too busy to speak to me or call me back."

"On arriving at the hotel. The front desk clerk was very helpful. The room was spacious and up to date but there was a bedbug problem. House keeping did not clean the room properly and I don't understand why they charge a resort fee because there are no amenities and this is definitely not a resort. "We had a great weekend and were happy to valet the car and walk everywhere! Casa Grande was right in the middle of everything, yet even though our room was right on the second floor above the restaurant and music, we were never disturbed by the sound.
I was concerned when I read that the front desk personnel weren't friendly, but found that to be completely NOT the case. All three people we met at the front desk were friendly and helpful.
The rooms were well equiped but could use a little facelift. The carpet maybe not so clean, but everything else was at least clean. The beds are a little hard making sleep a difficult, but sheets and bedding were clean.
Overall, a nice stay."

Our King Suite was very spacious with a living room, dining area and a full kitchen. The view was of the alley and dumpsters.

After months of looking at reviews and larking the net I decided to book a room at Casa Grande Suites for my birthday in Nov of last year, and Wow it was a pretty site. Very nice hotel. I had the best time. Perfect location right in the heart of everything. Awesome view action all around. The restaurant right next door. The rooms were awesome and very comfortable with all the eating you can come right to your room and put your food up and go right back to the heart of thing. The spa was an excellent experience and very inexpensive. Everyone at the hotel was very comforting and helpful. I would recommend this spot to anyone going to Miami. Casa Grande is the place to be as a matter of fact I will be going again in 2 months! Enjoy I know I did :) "

"My girlfriend and I stayed here last summer on vacation. If we decide to go back to Miami this summer, there is no where else we would rather stay. This place is spectacular. The room was very spacious, clean, and accommodating. The rooms are all suites complete with a full kitchen. You can't imagine how much that can save on eating out all the time. Especially since there are so many restaurants lining the street and everyone you walk by is waving you to sit down to a complimentary drink or special. The hotel is located directly across from south beach on Ocean Dr. You can't get any closer to the action. They provide clean beach towels too. The only negative thing I can say is that they did charge some little extra nightly fee which I wasn't too please about on top of my Bookit charges. There is absolutely no parking anywhere. We had to pay $30 per night minimun to park and walk 6 blocks to the hotel. It was either that or pay the tip each time the valet parked it plus the $30. And there were some guys outside the hotel every night that showing off snakes and monkeys. They were friendly at first but I didn't realize that they expected to be tipped too. I just thought they were guys with snakes and monkeys. They were kind of jerks after that asking for their money. Sorry, but I'm from a small town and I don't tip the folks outside of Petsmart with the dogs. They let me pet them for free. "

"We stayed at the Casa Grand on our trip to Miami 6/30 - 7/6 and it was the best stay ever. We had an Ocean view room and we watched the sun rise every morning while we were there. The room was so clean and beautiful. I would recommend everyone to stay here. Next year when we go back this is the hotel we will be staying at. I will never stay anywhere else. I love the Casa Grande. Also the staff were amazing and very friendly. I wanna give room service a shout out thank you for keeping our room smelling like Fabulouso. "My husband and I stayed at the Casa Grande for two nights, Aug. 16th and 17th, 2010. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The location is perfect. The staff was friendly. We had a junior suite with a full kitchen and a dining room. There were two beds and a plasma TV. It was clean and plenty roomy. We got a great deal through bookit.com. We can't wait to go back. "Me and my homegirls went to Miami June 30 - July 6 and we stayed at the Casa Grande. The Casa Grande was the best hotel on the beach. The staff were the best and very friendly. We had an ocean view room our room was beautiful, it was like home away from home. We had stainless steel appliances and a view of all the action outside of our window. We saved a lot of money because we were able to cook our own food. We didn't have no car but we didn't need one everything was right there within walking distance. Our room was cleaned and mopped everyday by the cleaning staff they even wash our dishes and then put them in the dishwasher after. I give the cleaning staff an A Thank you for keeping our room smelling like Fabuloso. We loved Miami but with having the right room to go to sleep in every night made it even better. Thumbs up to the man outside the hotel with the monkey and albino snake. I wanna say good job to the security man which sits downstairs all night to make sure the hotel was safe and I wanna flash the vallet man who stands outside all day and most of the night valeting cars. THE CASA GRANDE RESORTS AND SUITE HOTEL BEATS ALL HOTELS ON THE BEACH. ME AND MY GIRLS WILL NEVER STAY NO WHERE ELSE WHEN WE GO BACK TO MIAMI. P.S. we never had to paid for one orange nor the delicious cookies that stayed available for eating whenever we came in. "

"After an initial misunderstanding regarding the reservation, we were then given a room with an ocean view thanks to the great hospitality of the staff at the front desk. The room was fantastic. It was huge, bright, cool, view of palm trees, beach, and ocean. Complete kitchen with microwave, stove and dishwasher. It had a very private bedroom area, 1.5 baths, also a sofa that pulled out into a bed, and a good sized plasma TV. In other words, the suite was everything you would want and more! The hotel staff was always very friendly and attentive. And the beach is right across the street! This was my first trip to Miami, and I think the Casa Grande has spoiled me for any other hotels. For the price, it was a value that could not be beat. "
