The aLoft hotel is a fun and modern hotel. The design is very modern and hip, they offer a decent and healthy free breakfast and the bar is open til 12 AM. I didn't have time to check out the pool. While Brickell is a super hip neighborhood, there isn't much to do in the walkable area around the hotel. So you'll need to take the Metro (right behind the hotel), an ?ber or Taxi to get around. Also, the rooms are very small, which wasn't a problem for me, but it might be, if you plan a longer stay... Read more

Rooms are spacious; parking is reasonable for this area ($25 overnight, includes taxes) and grab and go food is tasty and cheap! Breakfast for both me and my husband was $15! Unheard of at a hotel on Brickell! Clean rooms, friendly staff, no complaints!

Half of the bed had a bottom sheet and the other half did not. We attempted to remake the bed with no luck. Let the front desk know and it was fixed with a new, correct size bottom sheet. I felt this was a very dark hotel and needed more hallway lighting, and in the room lighting. Great location and front desk staff. Would I stay here again - NO!

The Aloft Hotel is a modern, well equipped hotel near the financial district in Miami. When we arrived I thought that it was a bit far removed from Downtown but the Metromover, approx 500 metre's away, provided a free shuttle service to Downtown and the Biscayne area every 5 minutes. The Metrorail was also beside us with access to the airport. A bustling restaurant area is also within 5 minutes walk. The hotel staff were welcoming and resourceful and stored our bags while we went out for the day... Read more

Cool pet friendly hotel but when it comes to being close to everything it's not walking distance it cost 30$ to cab from here to south beach hotel defiantly isn't worth the $$$ 25$ a night for valet als... There was only 2 things I liked about this hotel: the pool and the fact that the Metro Rail was a block away. My impression of this hotel is that it caters to young, thin, single people. I am neither young nor thin and I felt very uncomfortable during my stay, as if I was not good enough to stay at such a hip place. Therefore, I will do the hotel and myself a favor and not stay there ever again. They don't need my business and I prefer to stay at a place where looks/appearances do not matte... Read more

Excellent location for any business trip involving the Brickell financial area. Walking distance to a supermarket and short drive to the trendy restaurants and main financial centers. Everything was nice during my stay for what you can expect from a limited service hotel. Practical and convenient. Only one major weakness: the lighting at the rooms is extremely poor and cold. The hotel could improve a lot just by providing more clarity and warmth with yellow lights. Good bed, linens and good show... Read more

I was vacationing in the Miami area and decided to check out two Aloft hotels. Even though I have visited Miami many times, this was the first time I stayed in a hotel in downtown Miami. If you are looking to be close to Bayfront Park or in close proximity to South Beach, this affordable hotel is for you. The decor of the room is the typical Aloft hotel finishes. We upgraded to a corner room with a balcony; which was such a treat to see the downtown skyline. The room also came with free Wi-F... Read more

My husband and I stayed fro the weekend at the hotel and had a great time. The fun Rock & Roll vibe of the hotel was cool and the staff were really nice and helpful. Alex the bartender is a really great guy and makes a good drink. The hotel is close to the elevated train and Brickell Village for dinner. I more than recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a great stay in downtown Miami. Greg

Comparing to the 3 stars hotels on the south coast this hotel really stands out. modern trendy design, spacious, clean, great service, impressed by their mini bar where they serve tea and soft drinks on the house. They even have parking service. Nice firm bed. Nice bedsheets. Mini balcony saves smokers from going to the street to smoke. Iron board and iron in room. The Aloft Hotel in Brickell in downtown Miami is a upbeat hotel with very clean accommodations. Our room was very clean and situated with a great view of the greater downtown in Miami. The hotel has plenty of activities including a pool table. The staff are very friendly and very receptive to answer any questions. We were very satisfied with our stay.

Really nice hotel, close to restaurant area in Brickell. A few blocks from the free team that takes you to the downtown area. The bathrooms were great and staff was friendly. Note that parking is not included and costs $25 per night. Note that Iphona deactivate the room keys.

Convenient location, functional room, casual yet good service. If you just need a place to sleep, this hotel is good to stay in. The only thing I could mention is, understanding that perhaps the nature of Aloft hotel is efficiency, there's too much disposable equipment used in here, especially in the breakfast cafe. Easier to toss the cutlery and cups to the bin instead of washing them, but this would mean the hotel is not an environmentally friendly, or conscious, hotel. Less labour = bigger li... Read more

This hotel was a ten plus on a scale of 1-10 in availability in that our diverted flight got us stranded in Miami ! We did a last minute booking which was great they had lots of amenities and a great vibe. Though the room smelled of a mildew smell & the bathroom was a little dirty. The desk agent late night was a little standoffish and not friendly. Overall experience was about an 7 for me.

This is our first experience with an Aloft hotel. It definitely is aimed at the career-professional class, aged between 30-45. While we are older than that age group, we are career professionals and appreciate fine things. It was very modern and clean, no complaints at all. Nice staff and valet parking only!

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Our room was spacious, it was quiet and everything was very clean. The staff was helpful and the lobby area was well taken care of. The only thing I don't like about the Aloft brand is the door that separates the toilet and shower from the rest of the room. It's a pocket door that slides shut, but not completely, so you never get full privacy. I wouldn't stay in this hotel with anyone but my husband.

This is a very nice hotel in the middle of downtown Miami. Modern look with good service. The only downside is all the construction around it, the views are not the best because of it. There are mostly buildings all around.

Who's in charge of the punchlist? My honey has been building in South Florida for over 35 years, doing commercial construction. We were surprised that the "punchlist" hasn't been completed for this new location, over 2 months after opening. Our room, #1210 had several issues: ~The air conditioning doesn't work well. Thank goodness we have a travel fan always packed in our "go to" luggage for when we cruise. ~The sink water goes from hot to hotter, there is no middle, or cold setting. Washing ... Read more

Not without issue: my door when I arrived didn't lock, they sorted it within half an hour but not the most reassuring thing when you're travelling with a lot of valuables. Parking kinda sucks but valet knows that and politely takes care of that for you. Location is off in the cut but still in walking distance from everything (like 4-5 blocks away). I would definitely stay here again but if you want to be right on the beach or right in the middle of all the happenings, this may not be where you want to stay.

This was the first ALOFT i used, and they totally converted me. I actively look for aloft hotels now when i travel. I stayed not long after they opened i think (Jan 14 - option not available in the drop down list). I stayed for a week. The balcony was a beautiful touch. I had booked one of the more expensive room so you would expect a large sized room which i got. A large and comfortable bed. A very well equipped toilet and dressing area. Shower was great...As well as an AWESOME bar on the groun... Read more

I've been to Miami many times and always stay on South Beach. This time my fiancee` and I decided to stay downtown. The front staff was friendly and helpful. The gentleman at the front desk gave us directions to a free trolly that drops you off in different areas downtown. We took the trolly to Biscayne bay and went to the plaza and ... Read more

Nice cool hotel in an area with much lofty construction. Some rooms can be extremely small but many have balcony's Nice big grocery store across the street. La Fitness and Train in within feet of hotel as well. This hotel tends to be too expensive for the area being of limited service and luxury.

Very comfortable bed and pillows. Very nice staff- they went out of their way to be helpful. Andreas at front desk checked us in with helpful tips on restaurants. This hotel is the BEST location. It has some of the best restaurants a short walk away. Go to Mary Brickell Village and the area around it for delicious food at reasonable prices. We had a quiet room that was fine for a few day stay before a cruise. Uber was only about $5 ride to port. The one thing about this hotel it is decorated for... Read more
