"We had a great experience. They checked us in at 7 am (we had a red eye) and they upgraded our room. The desk staff was very nice. We liked the location. Maybe we wouldn't have liked it as well without the upgrade."

"This was a huge disappointment for the price. The bed was lumpy and they did change our room at our request but it was too a smaller room ( no mention of a credit ) but what prompted my husband and I to vacate and cancel the rest of our stay their was the fire alarm constantly going off starting at 1:30 am. This fiasco lasted about an hour. They didnt offer any restitution for the lack of competence or explain what happened. I actually heard one of the staff tell a hotel patron, it's just a false alarm you can go back to your room..(?!?) it was ear peircing in the rooms. we left the next morning, but of course have yet to receive a refund. The manager never happens to be there when we call. The area is located just off the beach and could be first class if they paid attention to detail and updated the rooms. the photos look cheery but it's actually rather depressing and stark especially as the ikea esque furniture is all nicked up. they did pick nice bathroom soaps. I don't recommend this hotel for adults. College students who don't care perhaps but not for the sophisticated traveler."
