"My girlfriend and I had an excellent experience in Miami Beach in February 2013.

The hotel is located in the heart of the 'action' and literally across the street from the beach.
We were able to take advantage of the best parts of the location with a short walk to the sand and included beach chairs and towels, and people-watching at the neighboring restaurants and bars.

We were able to avoid the worst parts by requesting a courtyard facing room, from which we did not hear any of the late-night noise.

The staff was perfectly courteous and hospitable and we enjoyed the complimentary water, bicycle rentals and beach chairs and towels."

"This hotel showed a lot of promise; the front desk staff were friendly and responsive. It's unfortunate that they were the only ones who cared about the guests. We were there for 5 nights; Housekeeping was terrible; I am surprised they remembered to make the beds- they didn't replace dirty glasses, tissues, soap or toilet paper- the last two items I had to go search out. I used their laundry service and requested express. When I called to check on my garment, I was told that there was a mistake and they submitted it for regular service and it wouldn't be back until the day we were checking out. I was assured that it would be there before we left. When it didn't arrive, I was assured it would be sent overnight to me. I called on the second day to find out where it was and was told the were 'tracking' it. It arrived on day 3- and wasn't shipped until the day I called to inquire about its whereabouts. The restaurant service staff was indifferent- prices for a simple mixed drink were 3 times higher than what I typically pay. Management needs to work on improving service and making sure EVERYONE is there to service their guests and not put the folks at the front desk in the position to apologize for their team's indifference."

"Our stay was great!!! We booked for just one night, arrived at hotel earlier than check-in adn our room was ready and upgraded! Because it was chilly we spent a little more time in the room than expected. The only downside to our trip was the weather because the $15 per night resort fee included amenties we couldn't use but had to pay for. All in all, the staff was great an dthe room was amazing."

"The employees were all very friendly and helpful. We had requested a king bed but were given a queen. The room was adequate and efficient although the sink was very slow to drain and wasn't fixed. There was no hair dryer but I requested one and it was delivered promptly. We were given a room overlooking the 'courtyard' which was also the entertainment venue complete with stage. Very very loud at night but that's part of Miami Beach. Overall, it was a pleasant stay."

"Great location if you want to sample the South Beach night life. Don't expect a lay in though if you are at the rear on the hotel...the deliveries start at around 7.00am. Either that or someone turns up every morning."

"We will not stay at this hotel again. Two of the 4 nights we stayed there we did not get fresh towels and had to request them at 8 pm at night. one day the maid left our door open while cleaning, nothing was stolen thank goodness. The pool area is very nice if kept clean, but we would go up there in the evenings and the old towels from the days activities were just sitting around. pool area also was very noisy as air handlers were directly behind pool. Last day the eleveator went out at was still inop when we checked out. needs an alternate elevator for luggage and old folks. one day we waited for over an hour to get our car from the valet. They comped us 2 days valet parking and comped us night at hotel, but we still would not go back. Awesome location! hotel bar through us out on friday night as they closed early due to rain."

"I thought I was getting a great deal! Come to find out that the 560 dollars I paid, when I left I needed to pay over 35 dollars a day for Vallet, which was not even worth 2 dollars. I would have rather walked blocks then wait over an hour for my car! Then there was another 15 plus dollar a day resort fee! even though i paid over 70 dollars in taxes and fees when booking. The day staff was a little better than the horrific night staff, they were rude and didn't care much about anything. We come back from our Anniversary dinner, to find we can't get into our room, i was told it was because I was putting my phone near the keys, when really the door lock had died. As i sat in the lobby waiting for a guy to fix it, the 'night manager' and a desk lady was talking about the staff and the stuff they do that they are not supposed to on the clock, and about inappropriate things that they do! I was horrified. The room was clean, but was tiny. I understand you are paying for location, but next time im going to stay more north and drive down to south beach, its worth the drive."
