"This may look pretty and nice when you enter, has a nice pool and good access to the beach. The walls are PAPER THIN and a large gap under the door. The door 'slams' automatically and there was a parade of young people up and down the hall from 10pm until we checked out at 3:30am. They were in the halls talking and laughing and in and out of rooms with doors constantly 'slamming'. We had a 3:50am shuttle to catch so tried to get to sleep early - NO SLEEP Occurred. I even opened the door and spoke to them, letting them know some were trying to sleep. Called front desk and they said they had other complaints, but the security person found no one in the halls - guess he didn't hang around long enough, The Island House was much, much better, even though no pool and not so pretty."

"If you are looking for a simple/affordable but clean and friendly hotel in a safe part of town where all major attractions are steps away then this is the place for you. We planned to spend most of our time out dinning and tanning and just wanted a place to come back to where we could get a good night's rest...this is exactly what we got! I can't say this enough, the staff was extremely friendly and always provided us with great recommendations for dinning and fun. If you are coming to Miami and plan on spending your time and money on fun and entertainment rather than a glamorous room but want a clean and comfy place to stay then look no further and book now!"

"For the price paid this hotel wasn't bad. Bed was not comfortable, sheets were paper thin and pillows were thin. My major gripe was the walls were paper thin and you could hear everything from the maids who started their rounds between 8-9 AM, to the elevator bing every time it stopped on our floor.This is MIAMI where bars are open late night, some 24hrs, you could hear housekeeping every morning like they were in the room with ya slamming the vacuum into the wall and caring on. No sleep on this trip!"

"This hotel was great for the price. It is in a great location within walking distance to everything! Staff was extremely accommodating as we had requested a late check-in and check-out. Steps from the beach, I was able to wake up and get right on the beach without worrying about transportation or lugging a bag for three blocks. A definite bonus was the poolside 'tiki bar,' even though the liquor selection was quite limited. Around 7 p.m. Guests of the hotel were able to receive complementary cocktails in the lounge where there is a hotel and a pool table. The only issue we had was with the knowledge of the concierge. I had inquired about the closest location to go paddle boarding and other water sports and the woman did not understand me (language barrier) and the other woman who translated for her was very rude and kept telling me 'no, no.' Then she proceeded to try and talk me into a tour of Key West...no thanks. Other than that, I would most certainly recommend this package to friends and possibly return myself."

"Pros:
Price was quite good. Room appeared to be newly redesigned. Aesthetics were quite good - view of beach is great. You can hop on (rented) bikes from local business and get pretty much anywhere on the island. You could also grab a taxi to anywhere you desire within 15 mins. Location is excellent, right next to Lincoln Street - tons of shops and vendors.

Cons:
There was no parking and no beach front service for this hotel (towels, chairs, umbrella etc..). Though you can get parking for a price through the hotel, across the street for a high, but competitive rate. The only major (and it was major) issue my girlfriend and I had was with the bartender. A younger guy who was incredibly rude - throughout the entire weekend. The bartender mocked my girlfriend and I, overcharged for drinks and was apparently trying to be the most despicable person possible. For this reason, I will never return to this hotel nor recommend it. Everything else was reasonable."
