"We had an event at The W Hotel and the Seagull is directly across from there. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms need to be updated but it was clean. The Beach walkway was right by the hotel and you can literally walk to everything. You do have to pay for parking at the meter right across from the hotel but the price was not bad. I would not get an ocean view room because you can barely see the ocean. The beds were clean and comfortable but the room was small. This hotel if updated could be a gem."

"We arrived on June 8, 2012, there was no room available. The only availble room was one that no one wanted. It had rained the night before so the carpet was wet, and they had this fan blowing on the carpet to dry it. We had no other choice but to get that room when the assumption that i would get another room the next day. The room was smelly, we had to call maintenance twice because the door wouldn't lock. The next day i asked the lady at the desk was there any other rooms available because i wanted to get out of that room. She had an attitude and said let me look. Really??? The public parking is expensive, the pool was underconstruction(wish they had said that at time of booking). The hotel is at the end of the strip, long walk. I wouldn't recommend to anyone."

"The hotel is in a convenient location and direct access to the beach. Great price for my 5 night stay. However, amenities include a pool, and the entire time the pool was closed. I mean, isn't that part of what I paid for? And the first day we had to go to 4 different floors before we found an ice machine that was working. The room only had 4 sets of outlets and when the t.v. , all the lamps, and clock is plugged up it doesn't leave hardly any room for your own stuff to be plugged up such as, straighteners, curling irons, hair dryers, phone chargers, etc. The light source for the room is three lamps that have to be plugged in. Even though check-in isnt til 3, you can do an early check-in for $28 which was great since we arrived several hours early. Rooms are decent and beds are comfortable."

"AWESOME PRICE FOR THIS HOLIDAY!!! Almost every hotel was asking for $550 for a weekend stay and required a 3 day minimum checkin, not this one! only $400 for a double bed on the beach, cant beat that price anywhere! staff was friendly, breakfast was ok, and for the price the rooms where good. overall i had a great time, the only thing i didnt like was the lack of hotel parking, it was only public and required you to keep checking the meter or youll get a ticket or worse (towed)"

"They are great!! After we had to leave our hotel at midnight on the first night of arriving in miami The Seagull accommodated us for our stay of 5 days at that time of the night without any questions asked. The hotel was nice, the rooms were nice and clean. Nice pool area & bar. Had a great time there and close to the beach."
