"The Hotel was very old, no problem with that but it is not renovated to the customers expectations, carpets are very dirty, Rooms smells. Not enough main meal choices for breakfast. only one floor of the hotel relatively was tolerable to stay and they give it for those who complains about the cleanliness."

"The location of the hotel is not convenient - right on the beach, there are no stores/restorants close by, everything 20mins walk away or had to drive. Pool is very nice, but had hard time finding a shaded place, umbrellas by the pool were free, but the pool service was always waiting for a tip to bring them to you. Umbrellas by the beach are expensive with no discount for hotel guests. breakfast was terrible, had to use it as nothing else around Room was ok, but with very old mattress and pillows, couldn't sleep during vacation!!!"

"Usually I tip the maids at the end of the trip. At this resort nothing was done unless I left $5-10/day. One day we came back from the beach to find our garbage cans empty except for 1 piece of toilet paper something threw away which had feces on it. My family flushes used toilet paper! The first night there, we had fire drill after fire drill because something broke. It took all night for them to fix the problem. Meanwhile alarms and lights kept going off. Our toilet kept overflowing but they didn't move us until 24 hr later! Why the wait??? Anytime we needed extra towels it took ~2 hrs until someone brought them! The maids were always rude when we needed something. Our TV didn't work so we needed to make yet another room change. The nicest people were the pool boys and the young lady at check-in. We travel alot and no place has ever been so uncleanly and rude. I don't care to ever stay at this resort again."

"we stayed 22 yrs ago for our honeymoon for a month at this hotel. It was very good experience at that time. This time it really different. Our cruise arrived early so we called from the port if we can get room early. He told us he will try. When we got there he asked one lady next to him she was very very rude. Well we got the room at 1. There were so many small insect in the kitchen. The pillows had yellow dirty marks on them."

"Marco Polo was delightful. Our last night in Miami was a great one. We were upgraded to an ocean view with a balcony. It was picture perfect. The only down side is that this hotel is a long way away from south beach and a long way from the airport. However, it was beautiful. We had to leave at 4:00 a.m. To catch a flight. The valet didn't have the car at the front as requested the night before so that delayed our departure. Fortunately, there was little traffic at that time of morning so waiting additional time for our car didn't prove to be too much of an issue in the long run! Service is not exceptional but the room was comfortable and the view was worth it."

"No internet access, even they charge $10 more as a resort fee. Water on shower not fluent and difficult to get the right temperature. Valet parking you have to pay extra $18 and you have to call 15 - 20 min in advance you want to leave. I wouldn't recommend this hotel and I will not came back here for sure."

"The Marco Polo us still in the 70's the place is run down and dirty, the staff us friendly and professional would love the management to improvements the hotel. They nickle and dime you with parking and pool charges, I was very disappointment with this place. They also don't tell you about the fact that at 1:00 to around 3:00 pm your chasing the sun because of the buildings next door block the sun at the pool and the beach, that's not their fault, however it still a problem.

"The room was truly awesome......the morning buffet left something

to be desired, but was okay in the over all scheme of things. I and

my wife only have two complaints; The coffe is/was weak and bitter

and paying 5 dollars for a beer is a bit outlandish. Oh - by the way,

you can take the 'S' bus pretty much any where you want to go...skip

the tour packages.

Something else - down in the 'LL', they actually have great pizza, NY

style even....get the meat lovers......awesome."
