The location was a fantastic location to ocean drive. Just a few blocks away. The rooms themselves were just ok. The hvac unit was very loud at night (sounded like a helicopter was taking off from the roof). I will say the room was clean. Similar to previous reviews the customer service was less than par. For example we stood at the front desk (and rang the bell repeatedly) for close to 10 mins before anyone came to wait on us. Also when our room was ready we weren't offered any assistance to ge... I stayed in Miami for ten nights as I was doing some work at the University of Miami. Miami is a fabulous place and this hotel was a little haven away from it all. its location is great - it is 'south of fifth' which is an area of South Beach known for its relative quietness (I believe) and has plenty of art deco buildings (including this hotel). It is very close to the beach, just a five minute flat walk away and so it is easy to visit the beach, come back, shower and go out to do something els... Read more

This was the perfect place to relax in Miami! With a spa like feel and elegant touches of earth we felt comfortable immediately. The hotel is well kept and maintained, the staff is pleasant, the rooms have all the amenities you will need, the design of the rooms have a brilliant way of giving you the perfect space. The shower, omg that shower! I want that shower! Seriously, this place is a hidden gem, i would recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

Just stayed here recently with stag do party. Location is bang on and the hotel was suitable for the party i was with. Excellent shower facilities, clean and comfortable bed. Wouldnt recommend with a partner though, think there are better hotels however for the price paid I suppose it was good value for money, close to south beach, and main areas on collins avenue and washington avenue, about 15 mins taxi to Central of Lincoln road. Car parking facilities available at back of hotel with eas... Read more

Located conveniently near south beach, cute little hotel with small private parking lot (entrance from an alley, narrow turn). Breakfast is not great, bit there is a cute European deli with great breakfast in the next block. Each room has its own steamroom

A boutique hotel well located in South Beach. Checked in on a Saturday afternoon and went for a stroll through the neighborhood. Easy walk to South Point Park. Saw the sunset and beaches. The next day walked to the art deco area along Ocean Dr. Hotel front desk staff were very helpful and gave great recommendations for dinner. Continental breakfast included. Would definitely stay again!

Hotel is small no elevator, parking lot is small also and charge you 20$ for it .. should be cheaper considering it looks like a backyard.. Breakfast super nasty ... Room was nice and cozy , giving it 4 points for the location price and comfy bed.

I really enjoyed my stay at St Augustine, we had the 2nd floor front corner room overlooking Washington. Waking up in the morning to a beautiful view and the room was nice and cozy. It was during Memorial Day weekend so for the price we were happy plus the $20 per day parking was worth it. The best part was the awesome sauna shower, I didn't want to get out! Worth the uppgrade.

This hotel has been tastefully updated. Our room was quite spacious and well appointed. Only drawback - no aspects. The only window looked out to the next building where people sometimes sat to chat. Luckily didn't disturb us. Location is great, a short walk to the bustle of South Beach night life & beach without any disturbance from them. Friendly, helpful reception.Found lovely neighbourhood restaurants nearby. Buses, too, were excellent and able to move around easily. Didn't bother with br... Read more

Visited for one night with the wife and loved how clean the room was as well as how close to everything our hotel was. The building has parking that is a little difficult to get into if you have a large car but it's at least conveniently located. The breakfast is a little disappointing as it only offered cereal and croissants. I recommend for a great location to the strip. The shower offered a steam shower that works very well as well.

I only stayed here for a night on a weekend trip to Miami. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the room was very clean and spacious. I loved their steam shower! It was fairly close to a lot of restaurants and things to do, but my favorite perk was that it was only 2 blocks away from the beach! I was able to stop there early in the morning before check out. Parking is a little tough, as is in most areas of Miami. The hotel has a lot behind the Hotel that I had some trouble finding but ... Read more

This place has pros and cons and, overall, we very much enjoyed staying here. Firstly, the location is excellent, in the sought after South Beach area, but certainly in its nicer corner, and just a few blocks from the beach itself. The hotel itself is in a nicely restored Art Deco building; very clean, good bed and bathroom and beach towels are provided. The staff is very accommodating, there is parking and the price is good. I would mention only two 'cons': we had absolutely no view and the c... Read more

My girlfriend and I love to get away for weekend staycations on South Beach. It gives us a chance to unwind and experience a bit of us time. We picked the Hotel St Augustine mostly for its proximity to the beach (three blocks), our favourite restaurants, and the reasonable price. The added bonus was the amazing customer service from the hotel staff, especially James. Our room was amazing and well apportioned. The decor was nicely modern and comfortable. The beds, sheets, and complimentary robe... Read more

St Augustine is a small friendly hotel in a quiet neighbourhood. It is housed in a small building which has an Art Deco facade. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful with great advice about the area, they directed us to the nearby South point area where you can watch the cruise ships depart at 5pm. Great to see and very close pleasant walk to a lovely park area. We stayed only for one night and had to leave early to catch a bus so missed breakfast but the man on the desk made us coffee whi... We were welcomed upon arrival and had all we needed. Our room was surprisingly well appointed. Parking for free was a big plus. Closeness to all that Miami Beach has to offer was great. We only stayed one night and was sorry we didn't stay longer.

this hotel was very nice, but it seems as if they haven't updated all of the rooms, The staff were super nice and friendly, espeically James, and the continental breakfast in the lobby was enjoyable. The hallways and the rooms are what made me rate this average, but the location and proximity to everything is Excellent!

My friend and I stayed in Hotel St. Augustine overnight due to a layover leaving early the next morning. No elevator, but only two floors. We both had rather large suitcases, so an elevator would've come in handy, but it was fine. Room was okay. Toilet and shower were in separate areas which allowed for multiple people to use it at the same time if necessary. I just didn't like that there was absolutely no partition between the room and bathroom. It's as though you stepped right out of th... Read more

We loved everything about Hotel St. Augustine! We travel with our small dog so location was everything for us. The hotel is very close to the beach but far enough away from the chaos of Ocean Dr so it wasn't loud at all. There's a nice variety of restaurants and stores within walking distance and we even stumbled across a little dog park which was a nice added bonus. Our room was very comfortable and met all our needs and I personally loved the spa shower. We'll be back in Miami again this ye... Read more
