It was my honeymoon, the travel agency who booked us there made it clear (I have all the forwarded emails between the hotel and the agency) it was a honeymoon, to give us a good treatment. At the end of the day this was the great treatment we got: - My wife and I got 2 separated beds, the hotel said they were full and there was nothing they could do for us and that wasn't their fault (and clearly not their interest either) - Night shift valet was super RUDE, even the concierge commented about th... Decent , clean beach resort, beautiful view on the ocean and pool on the balcony: very nice to chill in the morning with a cup of coffee under the sun or at night with the warm tropical evening breeze. Cesar at the front desk was nice and welcoming ! Coffee maker and tea in the room, 24 hours gym and free wifi :) I also liked that they had green choice I didn't try the dining facilities though so I can't tell. Only bad points is the A/C is a centralised system and you can' turn it off in the r... Read more

Old fashioned hotel in need of renovations. Small rooms and smaller bathrooms; the only mirror in the room is in the bathroom which is a great inconvenience. Valet parking is $ 36.00 a day with just one attendant taking care of customers. The bedspreads looked worn out, same as the depressing looking carpets. The breakfast menu had a big coffee stain, a small detail which reflects lack of attention and care. The beach is excellent.

I stayed here with my wife and son this past week for the week. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff was very courteous. We had a deluxe room on the 7th floor with a nice ocean view. The only issues we had with the room itself is the lumpy and very soft pillows. I am a difficult sleeper. I requested new a new pillow from the Guest Services, and they gave me a foam pillow which was slightly better. Hotel should invest in more firm pillows, even with the foam pillow I had to prop it ... Read more

Nice hotel, Oceanfront on the Collins Avenue, nice area, beautiful pool and hot tub. Very close to the beach, the garden area is very nice. The room was comfortable, with a nice balcony. It was a pity the Friday and Saturday nights were so noisy, and I mean really noisy everything vibrated in our room and it was three am both nights before we got to sleep. We did mention it at the front office on Saturday morning, they quite casually said the hotel next door have partties at the weekend. (We cou... Read more

great location this hotel was great resort wise, right on beautiful beach and grounds of hotel beautifully kept but rooms were very tired looking, clean but outdated. Could do with a make over. About a $15 taxi ride from middle of ocean drive, South beach.

I've been to this hotel twice, and I must say the facility is less accommodating than my last stay. While the location is ideal, right on the beach and a bit away from the craziness of south beach, the building is not as well kept as possible. I noticed dirty floors in the restaurant and leaks near the heating/cooling registers. None of this was the case during my last stay two years ago. As a Starwood gold member, I was treated very well by staff and enjoyed an upgraded room. A few building mai... Read more

I recently was in miami for a work related conference that was being held at fontainebleau hotel. Due to the $$$$ of that hotel i opted to stay at four points which is right next door. Literally a 1 minute walk door to side door. Four points was more in my price range. Rooms were very nice. I stayed on the 8th floor and had a great pool/ocean view. The pool was very nice as well. I never had any issues with the other guest or the staff, who were overall very nice and accommodating. The o... Read more

I liked the hotel, was just disappointed that we did not have an ocean view. The front desk staff was not so friendly. The dining room staff was very nice. Breakfast food was great. The rooms are a little smaller, two standard bed with be to crowded for four people.

Hotel is run down. Rooms are tired. Restaurant and good quality very poor. Photos of this place are completely photo shopped or taken 10 years ago. Staff rude and unhelpful. To top it off fire alarm started going off from 4am and continued till after 6am.

Well we were in Miami for our anniversary and even though I had not booked a room we had a hotel in mind. I looked up several on-line and when I went in to book a room I quickly turned around and walked out. When we stay at a hotel it has to be clean and have some amenities that help us to enjoy our stay. Well this hotel had a lot to offer. It was clean and and modern spacious and very comfortable. the gym was updated and very clean. the lobby was spacious and had plenty of room for us to... Read more

My friends and I booked 3 rooms at the hotel for the weekend and our experience can best be described as rough! Service: the overall service could be described as inattentive. There are valet people out front who aren't helpful at all. I asked them where would I go for a taxi and they told me to hail one on the street or speak to concierge. Concierge then told me to go back to valet or hail an uber! Two of the rooms were not ready at check in an no one was apologetic about that. There were high... Read more

This is the sixth time we have stayed here. Over these visits the stays have ranged from average to very good. Seems like there has been a lot of remodeling and upgrading of rooms since our last visit. Air Conditioning in the past has been an issue, but not on this trip. AC worked great, Beds and room furniture seemed to be new and were very comfortable. Housekeeping and staff were good and the grounds were very well taken care of. WIFI was free but very spotty, maybe used it half the time due t... Read more

The Hotel is in a great location on North Beach. A family entertaining area in the day and party area at night. The restaurant had a great breakfast buffet. and a very good burger. I was in room 522 and had a very big patio(balcony) with a view of the pool. The pool area was very nice and had different areas to lounge in. The beds were very comfortable. The toilets runs if you don't shake the handle. The staff was very polite and helpful.

If I could give no star or minus stars I would.. Our experience had been nothing but disaster, frustration. It was so bad that we checked out after 2nd night even though we fully paid for 3 nights. It started with our twins cribs. I asked at the check-in and guest service agent said no problem it will be in your room. It was not until I made 3 follow up calls. Employees who works there do not acknowledge or offer any good morning/evening. In the morning I wanted to get some yogurt with some frui... Read more

We stayed at this hotel for one night before boarding our cruise ship at Fort Lauderdale. It takes 40mins and approximately $70 to get from the hotel to Port Everglades, and you can pick up a cab right outside the hotel. We were pleasantly surprised by a free upgrade from a standard room to an ocean view room which really made our stay special. The rooms have brilliant views straight onto Miami Beach. The room was generally clean and spacious - we had no issues with it. We had room service fo... Read more

We stayed at this hotel twice on our trip to flordia, once on a Wednesday and once on the Saturday of the 4th of July long weekend. Wednesday the hotel was quiet and nice, they had the pool bar open, and everyone had towels (although no one could tell us where to find them). We had a nice room with a balcony and an ocean view. The rooms could use a bit of TLC but they are clean and in good condition. The wifi is absolutely terrible, I understand it is on a beach and made to stand up to hurr... Read more

Stayed at Four Points because I am a sucker for SPG loyalty - needed a Starwood property near a meeting I was attending on Miami Beach. This hotel has seen better days - it has the 'cheap hotel' smell in the hallways and rooms and the overall feeling is "tired." I know this is a low-end property - but Starwood really needs to improve their low end. Hyatt Place and Hampton both do a much better job. I was upgraded to a jr suite - it was fine - clean at least, but smelled less than fresh and b... Read more

We stayed here for a weekend getaway and wanted to be close to the beach and you can walk out of the back doors of the hotel and be on the beach in minutes. We had a room with a balcony that faces the pool/ocean so the view was great. Our disappointment with the hotel was with the service at the front desk and Valet. The Valet was visibly upset that he had to help us with our luggage and park our car, so much that the person at the front desk offered to help and he just shrugged his shoulders... Read more

Looks like the hotel have some agreement with a tour operator dedicated for big groups of 15 years old girls, making the hotel common areas very noise during the morning, specially on the swimming pool. So if you are expecting some silence and relaxing in the pool or even in the beach, avoid this hotel. The staff is nice, the room is clean and the fact to be close to the beach is also a good point. The location is far from the main points and you will need a car for going anywhere. No breakf... Read more

Too bad I was out doing so many things in Miami that I barely had a chance to actually go to the beach, but finally the evening before we left, I partook of the large hot tub, then easily walked to the beach (there are a few steps so not easy to do if you have a stroller). The sandy beach is wide, the water was gentle and from what I could see from the room, you could go far out and still stand with your torso above water. Since it's full summer I went it got cooler in the day and it was still... Read more

Great location for a family not looking for a high end hotel and affortable. The place was comfortable and clean and located right in front of miami north beach amd close to the famous Fontainebleau hotel. The ocean view room with balcany is definitely worth the stay. We loved this hotel, we arrived quite late after flying in from LAX and it was lovely to learn that the pool is open 24 hrs and we were able to cool off after a 5 hour flight. The staff were polite and helpful and the room very clean with the everything that we needed and we had a spectacular sea view. There is a boardwalk at the back of the hotel which takes you down to the beach, where the water is like getting into a bath, it really is lovely. We were only in Miami for 2 nights and this hotel... For the pros, the ocean view rooms actually have an awesome view and the hotel is just in front of a nice beach, the boys loved it! The guy working at the swimming pool is really nice too! On the cons side, the room are quite old dated now and there was no fridge. Also there is not a lot nearby to eat, so we needed to take our car if we wanted to eat elsewhere than in the hotel. Got a King room and it had second room with pull out couch for boys and daughter slept on cot. Pull was great, Lobby had a nice bar for parent to have a bite and kids could hang nearby in large open lobby. So the hotel is huge, being a SPG member i got an upgrade. It is right at the beach, one has to cross the pool to reach to the beach side. The rooms are of decent size, comfortable bed, Nice small bathroom but clean. The hotel has good room service and restaurants but everything is expensive out here. I was surprised by the comman Jacuzzi area near the pool. Now, the only difficult part is if one wants to hang around at the most famous streets of south beach, you will have hire a cab as it is ... Visited for a holiday, in fact still here at time of writing. If the rooms have been renovated then I would not have liked to have seen them before! We had handles coming off drawers, a wobbly toilet, chipped paint and furniture, no balcony (junior suite, don't be fooled by the website photos)! Be prepared for all night noise (music from the property next door)! No-one seems interested in the issues. Asked for a call back from the manager - didn't happen. Found the Four Points well to our liking. The staff was friendly cordial and helpful. The rooms were clean, cool, and up-to-date. We took the 150 Metrobus from MIA which left us off two blocks from the hotel. Within walking distance south, are several restaurants, coffee shops and delicatessen. Just be careful of the flyers left under the door for deliverable food from third-party vendors. Our experience was pitiful. But would absolutely stay there again.

I had very high hopes for this hotel as it wasn't really cheap- to be honest though I hadn't appreciated how expensive Miami is! The room was lovely and big as I booked a suite and the hotel catered for my needs by reserving me a lower floor due to my fear of heights. The problem was with the air con. It wasn't too bad the first night but the atmosphere definitely started to feel a bit damp by day two. It got worse as the day went on and by midnight our clothes started feeling damp.
