The only issue I had was that the room is so futuristic that it really isn't that functional with the dim lighting and no where in the shower is there a place to hang your towels. But if your looking for a romantic getaway, me and the hubby really enjoyed our stay."

"I recently went to South Beach 2/11/13 - 2/14/13for a much needed vacation. The first impression walking into the hotel was 'WOW' this is nice. Upon arrival the staff were very friendly and even offered us a glass of champagne (which was really good!). We got checked in and as the Itinerary stated there was a $225.00 deposit for the 3 nights we were staying- OK cool! We received our keys and went up to our room which was on the second floor. We walked in and the pictures were an exact match- the lighting was Awesome!! and we had no problems with controlling them to brighter or dimmer shades. There was a mini bar- which is really expensive. We paid more than $7 just for a bottle of Fiji water (which my boyfriend didn't like but we were very thirsty!' It's right off Collins Ave so we could shop and also go visit the actual strip easily. We visited the roof top bar on top of the hotel which was nice. At first there were no chairs near the pool but the great staff helped us in making sure we were comfortable. We got beers because the liquor was just way too expensive- especially for the sizes of the drinks- HATED IT! There was a bartender behind the bar- he was acting as though he had a lot going on, so it took us some time to even get our 'canned' coronas (where are the bottles?) Anyways we enjoyed the pool on the roof top! We also visited the beach and the hotel has beach chairs that you can get for 7.99 a day (free wifi and beach chairs)- even if you don't visit the beach or get on there wifi which I thought was a scam. The most disappointing part of the beach and receiving our beach chairs was that there was a guy working there- when his buddies came up he gave them FREE beach chairs and even an 'Umbrella' which even staying at the hotel was $15. I asked the guy 'do we get free chairs and umbrella' and he totally brushed me off. I complained but nothing happened. It really got my blood boiling but nonetheless it was only available until 6 pm and at that time we were still in the water and they completely moved our stuff without informing us so we were looking around for our belongings for at least 5 minutes. I can say that was my least favorite activity. I really enjoyed South Beach otherwise. The staff came at least twice a day to clean- so they were very thorough in that aspect- we even received free chocolate and water after while! I would definitely still recommend this hotel to family and friends!"

"The men at the bottom check in of the hotel are very nice. Cant say the same for the pool people upstairs. The lighting is very hard for a woman that wears makeup to get ready in. only 3 channels worked for the TV but we didn't care we weren't there to watch TV anyway. The walls are very thin so we could here peoples conversations and smell the weed they were smoking all night. The housekeepers were very nice..... but I wouldn't come back to this hotel due to the lighting and the pool people and the fact that they don't have a hot tub. I think next time we will go to a bigger hotel with more comforts. Also the bath and shower have NO PRIVACY AT ALL. I have problems with even my long time boyfriend being able to see me go to the bathroom. so it was difficult."

"My friends and I recently stayed at the Dream hotel for my Bachelorette Party in South Beach. We booked the hotel based on it's great online reviews and we were not at all disappointed! The hotel is gorgeous, very recently renovated, and centrally located to all the best spots in South Beach. There are great restaurants and nightlife in walking distance, and the beach is down the street- although there wasn't much need for the beach because the rooftop pool is AMAZING! Very relaxing atmosphere on the rooftop, and the overall staff was very accommodating and friendly. It definitely superceded my expectations! Would definitely stay there again on my next trip to South Beach!!"
