Circa 39 was the perfect hotel for what I was looking for. It was small intimate and walking distance from the beach. The pool was quiet and the pool/bar service was on point. Although located on Collins it is far enough north to not be too loud and crazy at night. I would recommend staying here if you're looking for an intimate get away.

Excellent little hotel in a wonderful location with corteous and helpful staff in a very well kept facility. Stayed for two nights and really enjoyed it. Rita, a member of the staff, was particularly helpful.

We stayed at the Circa 39 for 4 nights, the hotel was great, rooms excellent, service amazing, location in particular for us was perfect. We had the beach access in 1 very short block, the hotel has the advantage that included in the hotel fee has 2 beach chairs, which normally go for $25 dollars a day. Rooms are almost new, the Wonder Garden is great space. My only criticism was that our room was located in a hallway with some traffic, and I had to leave the shutters of the window closed (th... My fiancé & I were very excited about this hotel based on the online reviews, however unfortunately our experience wasn't reflective of the high ratings we saw. We were told as soon as we arrived the hotel was booked & there were only double full beds available even though a reservation was made & paid for in advance. The bed was terrible with no support whatsoever & caused us back pain, just shifting in bed during the night was painful to our backs. We were very disappointed & reported our bed... Read more

First, this place is super quaint and cute. Some of my biggest takeaways were: - Location was great, considering we had our 10 month old baby girl with us. No one treated us differently because we were there as a family. - Rooms were a little dim for me, but they were clean and decorated very nicely. - Loved the fact that we had a mini-fridge and freezer to hold our personal bottles of water, fruit and so on. - The rooms have shutters so you can "open" the windows for more light if you'd like... We stayed two days and one night. The staff was excellent. Hotel is clean and beautifully decorated. Beach across the street, bartender who makes an excellent drink :) Important *** To help with is located on the side street on the left hand side if you are facing the hotel. Price range is a great value for the area! Important *** Hotel appeared to have fire station bring ear plugs if you have trouble sleeping due to noise.

I am a frequent traveller (4-5 vacations a year) and believe me when I tell you, this is by far the most amazing hotel I've ever stayed in. Upon arriving at check in, we were greeted with such a personable service, and this continued throughout the holiday. We were given our room key and the hotel rooms are beautifully decorated in a boutique Art Deco type of way. The king size bed is comfortable with plenty of pillows. The bathroom comes with an impressive amount of Egyptian cotton towels. We... Read more

I loved this place! Beautiful decor, great food and drinks plus friendly staff! It's farther north on Miami so quieter but still close to everything you need. I had a queen room "over the bridge" which is much quieter. Love the pool and the courtyard. Will definitely come back soon!

We stayed at Circa 39 for a business meeting. The hotel was very clean. The furnishings and decor was very bright, comfortable, and welcoming. The rooms are rather small compared to modern standards. (This is one of the original Art Deco hotels; thus the rooms are the size expected in the 1930s.). The pool area is very inviting and secluded by vegetation. Two comfortable cabanas are near the pool. There is also a very relaxing courtyard between the original hotel and the addition. The dri... Read more

We did a little research before our weekend trip to Miami and we were debating if we should book El Confidant (formerly known as Thompson), or if I should go with Circa39. We have stayed at Thompson in the past and it was great, so I was a little reluctant to deviate and risk a subpar experience on the long awaited vacation. Well, we took the risk and it was well worth it. Sirca39 was wonderful. First things first, the property was recently renovated and everything looks fresh. I love the interi... Read more

Stayed here 3 nights in May 2016. Overall, it is an excellent choice on mid Miami Beach. We were hesitant at first because we don't typically stay at boutique hotels. The price was great though and we were on a budget. We went and looked at it before we booked and we were instantly pleased - it was very clean and bright. The fresh, clean smell is one of the first things that hit us - you can smell it even from walking by the door. The staff was wonderful and greeted us immediately. Everyone sta... Read more

My fiend and I visited Miami beach during a one day layover, and we decided to book through an online booking agency that allows you to "name your own price." We got our bid, only to find out extra "hotel fees" would be added to our stay. In addition, parking was $26 a day!!!! Talk about hidden charges. And when we finally saw our room, we were shocked that this mediocre hotel is considered 3.5 stars. If that is true, then Holiday Inn should be at least 4.5 stars. Also, no breakfast included. I ... I reserved this hotel for a business partner visiting us from out of town. The staff was very nice and friendly. The room was also very nice and clean. They had bathrobes and fluffy towels. The price was affordable. Great deal and great place to stay.

This small hotel is off the beaten path. North of all of the south beach action. Much more relaxing and an easy walk or taxi to the fun. The staff is top notch and the place is decorated with care and beautiful detail. The pool area is small but nice, and the hotel is very convenient to the beach (Circa does offer chairs but not and umbrella - that is extra). The room price was reasonable given the location and I would definitely stay there again. All pictures already posted of the hotel are ac... Read more
